We use Matters.Cloud for time recording.

Pros

The customer support and the responsiveness of the product developers have been amazing. They have been very co-operative and helpful with the migration as well as with the customization of the program to our needs.

Cons

As a newly developed product, it has some minor drawbacks which we assume will be eliminated as the product progresses and develops.

Reasons for choosing Matters.Cloud

In providing our services to clients we are as dedicated and focused on their needs as possible. It is therefore important for us to see the same attitude at our providers. Here, it was the extremely proactive and constructive customer-oriented approach that convinced us to use Matters.Cloud. Time has shown this has been a very good decision.

Very good matter management, easy time entry, automatic billing etc.

Pros

Matters.Cloud platform is simple, user-friendly, easy-to-use matter management suite that covers document management, matter management, opportunities management, time keeping, automatic billing and much more. A must for small and mid-sized law firms and business organizations.

Cons

Actually have not found any downsides. Aware that the vendor keeps improving the software and adding functionalities and integrations.

Brilliant! We have encountered some early issues with some of the functionalities when we first started using the system. Upon contacting the team, the sorted it out within a couple of days. No fuzz and hassle. What's more, we have had a new requirement for the system which needs to be developed. We discussed this with the developers and literally within a couple of weeks, we have the feature in place at no extra costs. Truly a brilliant team who are dedicated in helping their users!

Pros

An extremely simple Case Management System to use even without prior knowledge of how one functions. What's best is that it allows you to set up the system to how you want the information to be presented and tracked without the need to contact the developers for an "expensive" custom made system.

Cons

Not a lot I don't like about it. It's what it says on the tin.

Pros

As an early adopter of the product there was a certain element of risk involved in using the software, however it has been a pleasure working with the matters.Cloud team in seeing the product develop. Our company with ~20 employees had previously recorded and billed time in Excel spreadsheets, not only has matters.Cloud made recording time for users much simpler (as they can record on-the-go through mobile or via a browser), it has made the process of managing projects and opportunities infinitely quicker. Our company would previously dedicate one person to spend a whole day collating and formatting everyone's spreadsheets to create end of month reports, now with matters.Cloud this is a 5 minute job which anyone can do. We initially bought matters.Cloud based off its time recording capabilities but over the past couple of months have seen the opportunity tracking being developed. As a company who has very long sales cycles it has been difficult for us to accurate track the cost of sales over what could be a 6-month sales cycle. With the matter.Cloud opportunity tracking we are now able to see with a couple of clicks the cost of sales for each opportunity / client. The fact that matters.Cloud pulls together elements from a CRM and time recording system and has them in one easy to use cloud based solution makes this product an ideal tool for small to medium sized firms to accurately track their opportunities right through to project manage their live projects.

Cons

None yet, any issues or bugs (which are expected when the product is being developed so much) are ironed out and fixed within a couple of days. There are no cons which haven't already been fixed by the matters.Cloud team
