May 31, 2019 5.0 This is a very efficient and effective method of training that is suited to all roles and levels of employment. Pros Everything about the training was very clear and concise, as well as being very thorough in the necessary information presented. The presentation was also interesting (and at times humorous and amusing), keeping the user's attention throughout. This excellent presentation was further enhanced by the ability to review the information easily and as often as necessary to feel confident of knowing the information. When completing the test, if an incorrect answer was identified, there was the option to exit the test and review the content again to be able to answer the question correctly next time. This process meant that key points were repeated until the user was certain of the correct answer, making if very effective training. In addition, while it was not necessary to complete the training, additional information was provided should the user wish to investigate matters further. Cons I have nothing negative to note regarding the training package. The only suggestion I would give is that the summaries and additional information be provided as a complete downloadable package for following review if necessary. Review Source AW Anthony W. Very helpful and informative. Having a better understanding is important. Pros Learning about all the necessary information with every course. I now have a better understanding about the specific courses and my work environment. I liked the fact that you weren't rushed during the test. You were able to go through it at your own pace and stop at any point to return back to the training part if you weren't happy with your answers. Cons I have no complaints or faults about the software as it was all very satisfactory. The only thing I can possibly think of is that the videos weren't as clear as they could be. I am better informed and I have action points for my new centre. Pros I liked the easy to understand explanations and the quick tests. Cons 1\. Too many clicks, but I understand why as it keeps attention 2. The quiz at the end. How important is it that we understand the definitions of combustion/radiation etc? I'm not sure 3. The fire extinguisher demos. I think everyone would say they would prefer to see a real extinguisher in action (not on a real fire), but this is an added way to see how the extinguisher works. Having CGI just looks a bit naff and people who don't have good spatial awareness will be left not understanding how close they need to be to effectively use the extinguisher. Pros Working with different charities and businesses, helping them get their teams up to date with essential training - we have found iHASCO to be a brilliant resource to have in our toolbox. The set up is extremely straightforward, and the support staff know their stuff well and take the time to ensure that you are getting the maximum value from their training modules. Easy to set up the dashboard, invite people to their courses and see what progress has been made. Cons I am struggling to find something that was difficult or tricky. However, more needs to be done to help support those with a visual impairment complete the training fully independently. Pros For Visual Impaired users it was good to have the audio from the video to consolidate training. Cons It would have been helpful if the multiple test was more friendly for visually impaired users. For instance, a prompt or audio description of pictures used in the test. It may further have been useful if the questions were audio and the user had heard the choices in audio format also.
