### "One of the best bangs for your buck any small agency can get"

A better client experience which naturally makes clients want to continue to work with us. better and more timely management of requests. Less chance of small tasks slipping through the cracks.Reassurance for us that we have formalised approval on artwork before it is published or sent to production. It's a win-win for a relatively inexpensive SaaS B2B product.

Pros

To summarise, it's about both professionalising and formalising our creative service offering for our clients. It benefits both parties. They get a sense that their version control is being properly managed, they have a suite of tools to empower precise feedback and ask for changes. For us as a business, we get peace of mind that feedback will be stored in one central place, and their no confusion over which version was approved to be published. The version control and comments have been a game changer for us. being able to comment on specific frames of videos is also a big added bonus.

Cons

Clients are always confused when they first get sent a link to a GoVisually project. They think they need a username and password to log in. That can cause some friction.Comments are a little disconnected between versions of documents. I can't update a comment to say - this is fixed now, take a look, because it is attached to the draft that I am replacing with the amended document version. That feels a little odd.PDF loads can be quite slow still though I think it has improved over time.It would be nice to be able to have more sections in projects than we are currently restricted to.

### "Perfect for everything you need"

Its a very user friendly program for both the admin as well as the accounts. Anytime we have had a question Go Visually has been friendly and readily available. No one likes to 'wait on hold' for hours or wait for a return phone call that never comes. You never have to worry about that with Go Visually. When have even emailed them with questions and the got back to us right away. They are frequently enhancing their program to make it even better than it already is.

Pros

When someone signs in to see their art they also have to ability to see all of the art in their portfolio at the same time. As an administrator its really easy to add new projects, remove old ones and request revisions. Just in case you forgot what change was made to the art you can click the revisions button and see all of the versions that came before it, as well as the comment that was made on that version that led to the revision. The program also allows you to 'download' the art and attach it to an email. (you have the option to turn this feature on or off for each individual account). As an admin I can see all of the accounts in the system including all of the art that was uploaded. Sometimes this helps to generate new ideas as well as give me the ability to show other groups an idea of what their concepts would look like EX: "what the words would look like if they were turned vertically instead of horizontally" without having the artist do a lot more work for a design that might be rejected in the end. Honestly this program can do just about anything you want it to and clients love being part of the process!!

Cons

When a project it uploaded. Go Visually sends out an email notification to every person that is listed as a reviewer on that account. Think of it like this... "XYZ school" is the account. There are PTA shirts, Soccer shirts, Beta club shirts, etc. When someone from the beta club makes a revision to their art all of the people on the account (i.e. the soccer coach, the PTA admin, etc) get notified that a revision was made. This can easily be solved by making 'accounts' for people and not 'organizations' but I wish we could assign an email to a piece of art and when revisions were made only that person was notified. The only other concern is that when Go Visually sends an 'invite' email to a new user to let them know they have art to review it has 2 links in the email with very little instruction. One of the links will take the reviewer directly to the art. Where they can leave a comment asking for a revision. The only problem is that when the revision is complete they are not notified. This is because on the initial email (with the 2 links) they should have clicked the other link to login and essentially 'setup their account' (clearer direction would be great here.) If they are not officially logged into the Go Visually portal they will never receive additional notifications. As an admin I can resend them an invite but they have to erase the cookies or the computer recognizes them and just lets them in and the process repeats itself.

### "GoVisually is great tool that fills a unique space"

Pros

Our marketing design team produces a lot of collateral, most of which are exported in PDF format. GoVisually was the best and one of the only tools of its kind that both supports PDFs and allows you to annotate them (Wake allows PDF uploads which can be commented on, but doesn't support annotations). The annotation tool set is simple, but it includes everything that most users will need, and our broader marketing and sales team was able to use it day one with few hiccups.

Cons

As great as the PDF support is, it comes with a cost. When PDFs are uploaded they're rendered as images. This is fine in my cases, but our content team has expressed their annoyance at being able to use the browser's find text feature (ctrl + F) to location specific text in a layout. It would be great if GoVisually rendered PDFs without the conversion to images. The other issues we've had are due to organization, but the developers have stated that they're working on one of them. The first is project organization. Currently, projects of simply displayed in a single list and there's no way to sort or group them into sections. We have 100+ projects easily, and it's struggle to find the right project at times (we don't want to lose the information from old projects and there's no archive and retrieve system that would reduce this burden). Adding a search function would make things a tad easier, but it's not available yet. GoVisually has stated that they're working on an organization system for projects and I'll be excited to see that. I don't know if the developers have one available, but a public roadmap for the tool would be great so users can see the features they're working on. Trello does a fantastic job of this, and even use Trello boards to collect user feature requests.

### "Client Friendly Creative Review Tool"

We needed a client facing proofing/review/approving tool and we found it with GoVisually. Our clients have all enjoyed their experience on your platform and it's ease of use, no training needed. After researching about 8 tools we know we made the right decision to use GoVisually.

Pros

We chose GoVisually due to it's ease of use, UI and simple workflow. We like the proofing tools which gives our clients multiple ways to express their notes. Almost no set up time, not much training needed.

Cons

There's really nothing I don't like. They are future improvements to be made, but I feel confident in the GoVisually team that they are taking our notes to heart and are releasing new features as they can. Bulk uploads, better slack integrations.

Pros

Super easy to use. Elegant, simple interface. Love the ability to tag other collaborators to ensure that all comments/feedback is seen and discussed.

Cons

We truly have not found any cons. Without GoVisually, we would be scrambling since we are editing PDFs in a final design-rich file, not Google docs.

We've saved so much time with proofing. GoVisually makes it so much easier to visually see where there's a change or the exact issue that needs to be resolved. Oftentimes, our proofs have 150 plus artboards and it's so much easier to markup one vs explain which artboard and where the problem with it lies.

Pros

We love GoVisually for internally proofing and sending to our clients. It's so much easier to be able to put an arrow or dot on the space that needs corrections or attention. It's easy to use and we're able to send it to the most tech-savvy clients and the ones who still refuse technology.

Cons

If the files aren't small enough, it takes a while to load. Also, we're having trouble with proofs that are reviewed and it shows up in list to review.

Overall it has helped streamline our editing process and help with version control.

Pros

Being able to send proofs to clients so that their team can comment asynchronously is so valuable to our team. Also, being able to markup and comment on individual items means that we can cross-check our work.

Cons

It would be helpful to sort by comments that only mention me. It would also be helpful to have an indicator of what page you are on currently. Also it doesn't very well for website proofs which we sometimes need to share so that multiple stakeholders can comment at the same time. It would also be nice to be able to sort by completed, not completed tasks.

Pros

GoVisually is great for keeping projects organized, and communicating back and forth with customers from beginning to end of each project.

Cons

Customers don't watch the video sent with the revision process, therefore they don't know about some of the features. This is not GoVisually's fault, but the customers for not watching the video.

GoVisually has simplified our review process and greatly reduced the amount of emails flying around with change orders and edits. I love organization and it's wonderful having everything in one place. Can't imagine working without it now.

Pros

I love how simple it is to post revisions and send links or invites to team members and clients. Having everyone's suggestions and edits in one place saves so much time and helps avoid any errors. it has also reduced emails which tend to get lost and are very confusing when it comes to gathering edits and looking at versions.

Cons

We have clients that attempt to review/markup on their mobile device and it's more difficult to do so on such a small screen. Not really GoVisually's fault - I just tell my clients it's a better experience on a desk/lap top.

It's a necessary tool for my line of work - I help produce brochures and company profiles for my clients and need a way to gather their feedback without needing to meet with them personally.

Pros

It doesn't require that my clients have an account - they could start comment while leaving their names. Its been helpful when I do now know which team member from the client's team who will be vocal about the changes.

Cons

The price, I moved to a lower-tier subscription when I renewed and kept deleting the completed projects so that I don't need to upgrade. And the fact that my designer in Egypt needs to use a VPN to access GoVisually.

Setup and usage is very easy - both internally for our team and for our clients. During the initial setup the GoVisually team was very responsive and helpful in onboarding us and getting our questions answered. Overall very satisfied.

Pros

We started using GoVisually recently. It was very quick and easy to setup. Its a very simple, straightforward tool for our reviewers to use as well. It's also at a very reasonable price point, compared to some other that we tested.

Cons

Some competitors have more features, but overall very satisfied for our needs.

Generally speaking, I have been very happy with GoVisually, and it has become an integral part of our online approval process, both internally and with our clients. We started out using the system specifically for the development of architectural CGI images, but this quickly broadened into commenting and approval processes of brochures, online and print ads. A big unexpected bonus was the frame-by-frame video commenting function, which has been a huge help in speeding up our production in this area – which until now has been really difficult to carry out in a remote working situation.

Pros

The relatively easy web-based commenting functionality. This allows untrained clients and other partners to comment on work in progress without having to download and install software, or have special training.

Cons

Some clients found the interface a little confusing at first.

Pros

It's easy to use, has all of the features that we need, and serves our needs well. Its very easy to share designs and proofs with other people with a simple link, rather than having to ask them to create an account It's very intuitive for our clients.

Cons

One thing that we would like to see is folders to keep our projects more organised We are having to spend a good amount of admin time occasionally deleting old projects

GV completely overhauled my review process and eliminated some of the most annoying parts of my job as an in-house designer. It isn't perfect, but what it has positively provided far outweighs its drawbacks.

Pros

My favorite features are probably the most simple: comments and approvals. It keeps things streamlined and eliminates hard copy reviews and multiple email threads. That is more than worth the price right there.

Cons

I wish there was a way to customize the automated emails. Reviewers get too many unnecessary emails and start ignoring all emails from GoVisually. I have had to copy links to GV projects and send it to my reviewers personally, and then reply in those separate threads to prompt them to review new versions, because no one reads the automated GV emails. I think GV is very easy to use, but many of my reviewers have said it's difficult to understand, and very few use it correctly or fully (using the appropriate commenting tools, approving when done, etc.). I have had to do a lot of ongoing training.

I've only been using it for a short time, but I really like it, and it has greatly improved my communication with clients, in order to number versions, keep a history of what the client has been asking for in terms of changes, etc. etc.

Pros

ease of use and ease of sharing work with my clients, with numbered versions, folders that separate the various work areas and tasks

Cons

There is nothing I don't like, the price factor, for me who work on my own and I'm just starting out, it's a factor I have to consider, but it's not something I don't like, I just wish it were cheaper

GoVisually has made our organization more efficient and productive in reviewing designed projects. I don't know how we functioned without it.

Pros

I feel like GoVisually took our company out of the dark ages of leaving edits marked up on a printout. We are able to collect edits from inside and outside of our agency with ease with little training time for our clients. It really is just user-friendly and easy to use and I appreciate not having to spend hours to learn how to use a new product or show a client how to use that new product. I also really enjoy that multiple individuals can review at the same time. It cuts editing and review time making our agency more productive.

Cons

I would love to see this software more integrated with other platforms, specifically a project management software like Asana. This would make our team even more productive using this product as we wouldn't have to alert other team members when a piece of marketing collateral is ready to be updated.

Reason for choosing GoVisually

User-friendliness and ability for multiple collaborators was a simple reason why GoVisually was the correct platform for us. Also, no need for a client to login and make their own account makes it easy to use on both client and agency side.

I love it!

Pros

I love the ability to have everyone give feedback on a design and that all can see and comment on others notes. I love the features that emails you when there is a comment.

Cons

The steps to upload a file is a bit clunky and too many clicks to get it ready to review. The sharing feature seams like too many steps as well.

Pros

The product is really easy to use and it makes receiving and discussing design amendments so much more productive. Clients really like it and being able to comment directly on the area being discussed cuts out any miscommunication RE: revisions needed and speeds up the whole process.

Cons

I haven't found anything I don't like about it so far.
