Pros

I like using uptodate on my mobile phone as mobile app is very stable and user friendly. This tool is best friend for doctors :)

Cons

Price should be cheaper and get membership.

If you’re interested in finding out the very latest information regarding anything medical, I would highly recommend this resource. Clear and concise information at your fingertips. Also, has an associated app with it that I also use when I do not have a computer in front of me.

Cons

Costly to use with membership fees, but still worth it

Pros

I like the layout of the application and ease of use to find information about a specific topic. I use this daily in my practice as a nurse practitioner

Cons

At times, its a little difficult to navigate certain topics as there can be an overwhelming amount of subtopics.

For the few years I've been practicing Medicina, it has been an incredible tool.

Pros

As a doctor, it's unthinkable for me not to use uptodate on a daily basis. Everything can be found there.

Cons

There's no downside to it. It's concise, science based, updated regularly and it's helps a lot on daily clinical practice.

Easy to use, medical search engine to review the most current evidence-based practice.

Pros

Very easy to use, search engine aimed at allowing you to view the most up to date evidence-based medicine. Each topic includes hot links to other related topics as well as articles for further review at the bottom of each topic. A review of each topic provides qualifying CME.

Cons

This software is expensive and requires a membership to view content past a small preview. There are some deals with larger groups or institutions.

Sometimes I don't remember the best alternative for whatever disease I'm facing with a patiente, or just want to recall some aspects of a disease, or even want to contribute to whatever research I'm doing. It never lets me down.

Pros

It is a very functional software, helps physicians keeping up with the new researches. Very resourcefull, with huge library and impact on my professional life.

Cons

I find it to be a bit too expensive. Although most physicians can afford it easily, perhaps it can be of great weight when deciding whether or not to purchase it, giving there are so many other new free apps and websites that does mostly the same thing.

This is the gold standard for looking up medical information. It is a trusted and reliable source. If I tell someone I found the information on Uptodate, then they don't try to argue with me.

Pros

I like that I can access it via the web or download the app and use it on my phone. This is especially helpful when rounding in the hospital or while rotating in outpatient facilities.

Cons

I think its pretty expensive, but luckily the company that my hospital is a part of provides memberships for us.

Overall my experience has been very good. Its a nice search tool.

Pros

Uptodate makes it so easy to find information on any topic that I need to look up in school. The articles are divided into sections so I don't have to scan the entire page for what I am looking for.

Cons

I don't like how the articles reference each other so sometimes I need to see multiple articles to get the information that I am looking for.

I have used it to consult on proper medical treatments.

Pros

UpToDate is incredible! It is so easy to look something up and find out what treatments are best for it.

Cons

It is so expensive. They certainly aren’t helping to keep medical care costs down by charging so much for something needed to best treat patients. Pretty irritating.
