It is customizable for any of our production lines, easy to standardize from line to line and the user interface makes it simple and fast for operators to use. Their tech support is unmatched too! Pros Ease of use, customizability, user interface, their tech support is one of the best I have ever encountered Cons I haven't come across any problems with it so far. I have installed them across 12 lines and only one device was faulty. Industrial Engineer Cosmetics Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Vorne administrator and user over 8 years" February 27, 2026 5.0 All reports, down time, performance and quality loss data coming from XL displays became the way to monitor, take necessary actions by production alerts reaching all relevant people any time there is a problem. We created SIC (Short Interval Control) Leader positions in each shift who help operate XL displays and use alert barcodes and explanations to inform all relevant people about the weaknesses. Shift, daily meetings are being done regarding these reports, alerts to take the corrective, preventive actions. OEE moved from 40% to 70% over the years. I am proud of being the part and admin of this system. Pros XL Platform changed the production mindset in the company. Easy to use, good value for money, excellent customer service any time we need them helped create a powerful OEE culture. Cons Actually, we do not have any remarkable cons. The only contribution/ request could be to have an opportunity to be able to change product threshold without admin password need that could avoid sharing it, but it is minor and just a "wish". As controls engineer, I have delt with a lot of after sales support teams and I will happily say Vorne's has been the best experience to date. Straight forward to the point and they will do whatever they can to make you satisified. Pros The customer support team is superb. The after sales experience has been the best I have ever encountered. Dealing with the support team has been very easy and they know their stuff. The devices themselves are very handy. Once you get them setup there is very little upkeep with them. Cons Sometimes the devices can be a little finicky to get them to communicate to the servers or to our PLC's. The tech support is the best of any company I have interacted with, I always get someone who is essentially an expert on the entire platform and is able to either come up with a solution or for the very infrequent larger bugs, I am promptly turned over to the bug fix team who has a solution either that day or the next. The software has yet to fail us for any feature we've wanted for tracking our line performance and has been easy to integrate with a custom HMI. Cons The only cons with the platform that I've encountered are really just tradeoffs, they trade an inability to do one thing for the ability to better track or do another thing. I've never come to Vorne saying "I wish I could do this" and come away thinking that there really is a better way to do things. Review Source EP Elizabeth P. As someone who has been involved extensively in setting up and configuring multiple Vorne systems within our factory, their instruction guides are very detailed and take you through the exact steps to get up and running according to your specific needs for that piece of equipment. There are so many features that we use to make data tracking and analysis easier on operators, engineers, and management. We previously used a different data monitoring mechanism in one plant area, and we have since switched to Vorne because it is significantly better. We would have a very hard time living without Vorne now that we have it deployed throughout our plant! Vorne customer service has been nothing short of stellar. Their responses are always quick, kind, and thorough - especially \[sensitive content hidden\] We will continue using Vorne throughout our factory as they have turned often laborious tracking and tasks into something extremely easy. Pros \- Very easy to configure, program, and use - Outstanding customer service representatives - Reliable and detailed data tracking - Extensive features and programming available online - Ability to create and save various views for different data analyses - Ability to monitor from anywhere (with access to IP address) - Ability to link together several Vornes in a hierarchy to accurately reflect your entire manufacturing system Cons Sometimes missing certain features and functionalities that I found myself wanting. These features are always "nice to have" features, not "need to have" features, and they are always noted by Vorne for future development if I reach out to customer service and ask about it. An example of a feature it lacked that I wanted: the ability to deploy a shift schedule I created at a predetermined future date and time. Currently, you can only change schedules at that exact moment in time. Certainly not a "need to have feature," just a "nice to have" feature. Review Source MT Mario T. I get live data. The alerts you can set up are good so you are always aware when OEE or efficiency drops. No much human invertention is needed so our downtime data is more accurate unlike our previous system. The staff is always able to help with configuration or technical support. They have good videos and muanls. Overall experience has met expectations. Pros Extremely user firendly to navigate throught the system and look at data,create reports, and adjust settings. Easy installation of the XL upgrade with easy to follow manuals and guides. Configuration of one device is easy and once you have it done for one device you can simply download and upload that configuration onto other devices with similar configuration settings. The staff at Vorne is also extremley knowlegable and always willing to help you get the best experience out of the Vorne XL platfrom. The data entry is as simple as scanning a QR code, allowing team members to focus on what matters, Safety, quality and delivery. Cons Upscaling for a large corporation can be tricky. Pros XL provides a clear visibility with real-time performance monitoring of all lines, even when you are out of the factory. The new alerting function is so useful. It warns you when performance go down. It is easy to configure and easy to set to any production environment. The reporting is so powerful and can be customized for different set of KPIs. Cons I hope that the help videos will cover all the features in the future. Pros Opened the box, made one call to the customer service department and my factory that has been controlled via pen and paper since its inception was online in two days and streaming data straight to my phone. I saw KPIs that I had never seen before and identified huge oportunities where we thought everythgin was under control. Cons Doesnt do everything that some other bigger more integrated products do, but this doesnt try to, Just focusses on its core tasks, of monitoring the production line Reason for choosing Vorne XL Platform Did 90% of what other much more expensive products do, no ongoing software licence fees, could get it up and running within days, to start improving productivity.
