### "Desktop version great, mobile version... Not so good."

September 24, 2020

4.0

Overall, it has been a positive, useful piece of software. There were some stability issues 2 years ago, but those seem to have been ironed out with updates. I highly recommend the desktop version.

Pros

This is the first password manager I have ever used. I honestly don't know how I managed before. The interface is clean, easy to use, and very functional. It integrates well with Chrome. No complaints on the desktop version.

Cons

The mobile version is a bit of a letdown. The keyboard touch screen for my iPhone is very temperamental, and it is hard to get the correct master password in to unlock every time. It also does not do a good job of predicting which login I need on the mobile version, leaving me to have to search through my vault to find the one I want.

It's been a great experience.

Pros

It keeps all my important information safe and it's hassle free trying to get any of that.

### "Can't function on my computer without it!"

November 21, 2019

5.0

I can't remember when I first started using 1P, but it was at least 10 years ago. I paid a one-off fee and smugly continued using it without paying any extra even when they moved to a subscription model. I held off and held off…but eventually jumped on-board and paid the very reasonable fee. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Everything works so much better now, and I am very happy with the support they offer.

Pros

It's smart. It knows when to auto-fill my passwords, when to offer to save or update passwords, and when to keep out the way. It has a simple job to do, and it does it extremely well. When I bought a new laptop, I set it up from scratch and the first thing I set up was 1Password—it made setting up everything else very quick and efficient.

Cons

At first, things were confusing as I had several vaults and versions of 1Password. It didn't take long to find the documentation describing how to consolidate everything, so now it all works well. I wish I could figure out how to turn on fingerprint recognition for 1P 7 though; at the moment I'm having to enter my password each time I want to unlock it.

Reason for choosing 1Password

I already had my passwords set up, and there was no compelling reason to make the shift.

### "The best Password Vault"

September 24, 2019

5.0

It does so much more than just store passwords. It can quickly generate new passwords, store specific detailed information and is always there with a click or a touch or face id. Very well built.

Pros

The easy of use of this app is amazing. Great plugins, widgets, add-ons, and apps. Easy to access across all of my devices. Easy to share passwords and organize them all. Goes beyond just passwords. IDs, Bank Accounts, Passports, Membership Numbers, etc.

Cons

The cost any be a bit prohibitive. Especially since I have been using this app for over 5 years when it was once free. Would have been nice to get it free since I have been a long time user and beta tester.

Reason for choosing 1Password

There have been many times that I have needed a ID, Kids Social Security Number or even my Passport number quickly. 1Password continued to come through in the clutch and have the needed information within seconds. They have always been reliable and 100% secure.

### "Longtime fan and user!"

March 18, 2019

5.0

Amazing product and a great community, love the integration with other programs and applications. Plus it has a trustworthy reputation. If you are in the market for a password manager, which who isn't these days, definitely check it out!

Pros

1Password manages all my passwords and its been doing so for years. Before that, I was using a free password manager which was fine but I needed a more robust system. 1Password reputation has been solid and the company is people focused so that is always a bonus. I love that I can use my browser extensions and my apps to sign into sites I use often. I use this software countless times per day, its definitely a must have for me.

Cons

So far nothing I am happy to pay for it each year, knowing that my passwords are kept neat and organized.

### "Good if you only need it for web sites"

August 8, 2019

5.0

I used a paid subscription for a few months.

Pros

Using it with the Firefox plugin, it was very easy to use. It automatically filled in passwords on frequently visited sites, or offered to create a password and save it on new sites. The full 1Password web site was fairly easy to navigate. You can create as many vaults as needed to organize your passwords. As a tech consultant, I had 26 vaults and 1300 passwords. It handled the volume just fine. My primary intent was to be able to share my own active password database with my customers, giving each access to their vault. For this it worked very well. If not for the problems with the phone app, I would still be using it.

Cons

For anything but web sites, 1Password became harder to use. I needed to be able to enter and look up alarm and door lock codes, account numbers and PINs, and other secure customer information, and do it on my laptop and phone. The phone app was the deal-breaker for me. I had to be careful when switching between the 1Password app and the app to which I was trying to authenticate. 1Password would often close and I would need to re-enter my master password. My alternative, KeepassDroid, stays open for a length of time you can choose, before locking again.

It is so easy to store all relevant passwords, bank, credit card, and identity details in a secure way. It allows me to set secure credentials for all my logins and manage them seamlessly cross-platform.

Cons

### "Der beste Passwort-Manager für Apple"

November 5, 2022

5.0

### "1password organizes your passwords for you"

April 18, 2020

5.0

It is very difficult to keep many passwords in my head, many of them I could not remember, and it was a big problem for me because I could not access my accounts. I did not want to put the same to all my accounts for security. At my work, this was a problem whenever I had to enter my work accounts, so we began to use 1password. I loved how protected I am with all my passwords and without having to memorize them, in addition to this giving me suggestions that I can use to have stronger passwords.

Pros

1Password takes care of my passwords, I have all my secure accounts with this software, and I no longer have to memorize as before or worry about losing my accounts, I like this app is compatible with all devices and makes them more secure since it has Two -factor authentication which it gives an extra protection.

Cons

The only thing I don’t like about 1Password is that it doesn’t have a free version, and its Premium version is somewhat expensive compared to other password managers.

### "Top-Notch Password Protection Has Never Been Easier"

February 12, 2021

5.0

I've been able to use substantially more secure log-in information since switching to 1Password Business. Having a secure system that can keep track of more detailed passwords allows me to be more cautious with my digital footprint.

Pros

1Password provides a universal, easy to use platform to keep track of all your passwords. Instead of having to rely on Post-It Notes, Excel documents, or other less secure alternatives, you have a secure platform that allows you to carry that information with you and get away from "one-size-fits all" password solutions.

Cons

The initial start-up to get account credentials into the 1Password system takes a little while to get in action. You have to load the log-in data in one at a time, and if you're doing it right, you'll generate a new, more secure password when doing so. This leads to a pretty significant amount of time to set up, but you only have to do it once, then you're set up!

### "Forget your Password Hassle "

April 21, 2022

5.0

1password is one of the best software I can recommend to my colleagues because this is a one-stop shop for all the password-related hassles. Some of the good areas to highlight in this app is having shared vaults for family members. Watchtower detects and highlights unsecured and vulnerable websites. last but not least the web extension is pretty much cool addition you can experience in this software. Kudos to the Team!!

Pros

There are endless benefits available in 1password software but I would like to highlight one of the great features I am enjoying using this one password application. 1PW (1password) helps me to generate solid and unbreakable passwords through auto-suggest. Most of the time when I try to figure out a quality password I ended up having the same password; however, the 1password application came into my life and supported me to remove my stress and have a quality sleep because I know that my passwords are not that easy to decrypt by hackers.

Cons

Limited support for the entry version of the software, In addition, autofill integration sometime fails or does not work properly. These are some minor areas to improve by the developer.

### "One of the best password managers I've ever used"

June 28, 2019

5.0

Easy to change passwords, generate new ones and I don't have to remember them all. Using it on Mac, Windows PC, Android phone and iPhone.

Pros

I love that it is still able to sync via Dropbox or LAN having the control over your own password vault. Check the standalone version for that. User interface is really beautiful and handy. Great that it syncs with leaked passwords databases showing if your accounts could be pwned and it's time to change the password.

Cons

I don't like that with each version I have to pay separately for Windows, for Mac and for mobile clients. And the more app is growing the less easier it is to set up the standalone sync. Devs are doing best to hide it to force people to use a subscription with 1Password.com cloud.

### "The best App to securely store your passwords"

October 6, 2020

4.0

My overall experince with 1Password has been great, actually It was the first App that I paid for it on the AppStore ($10) at the first version a lot of years ago and I'm still using it almost daily. It's a great App!

Pros

What I like the most is that I can store all my sensitive information in one place, I just need to remember my master password or even use my face id to access all the information. It easy to integrate with other Apps like Safari or Chrome and it have an autocomplete option so in some cases you even't need to look for the password.

Cons

In my case I made a mess with the different Vaults and I have same info duplicated per each vault but not all of them are updated, I don't know why that happened but everytime I can I open each item to know wich one is the most recently updated and delete the old ones to organize my info better. The other thing Is that in the past I where able to have my app sync with my family members for free, but now if we want to do that we have to go with a subscription plan, so they decided to go with a free App, In my case I'm still happy with 1Password

### "Reliable Workhorse for a Decade"

August 13, 2021

5.0

Pros

1Password runs on all my platforms: Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad. A change in one is quickly reflected in the other platforms. I also use it for my identities (drivers license, passport, client-site logins, software licenses, etc.). If it is important, I put it in 1Password! Browser integration is amazing, as is the integration with Windows Hello, FaceID, finger print readers.

Cons

iPhone integration doesn't handle the new mask unlock yet.

### "So good you'd recommend it to your mom!"

December 11, 2019

5.0

I've been a web developer for 13 years. The insane number of different websites, tools, software licenses, and resources that I have in 1Password would make even the most powerful spreadsheet software blush. 1Password removes all need to index and maintain these items login items. Visit the website, click the icon and away we go.

Pros

Integration. The level to which 1Password has become part of my personal, family and work is a little scary. I keep any and all personal information in there. Passwords, health records, credit cards, private notes. The list could go on.

Cons

The two versions 1Password and 1Password X threw me a little when I bought a new Microsoft Surface and loaded 1Password on it. I started with X before realizing that I wanted to use v7 with the browser plugin. Other than that though the software pays for itself even time I have to log in somewhere.

### "Excellent app"

February 24, 2019

5.0

I use multiple computers at work as a developer, and I don't want to compromise my security by writing down passwords - I just put 1Password on those computers. There are a lot of things I wish it \_could\_ do better, but they're not necessarily 1Password's problem. Some web sites restrict the use of special characters, or insist on their use (although "nectar, vineyard, oppose" is probably more secure than "/V>kTQnB4BU9", for example), so sometimes you have to alter 1Password's generated passwords by hand. Some websites don't work well with it, and many apps don't integrate with it, so sometimes it is easier to register an account at the app's website on a computer, then later log in, rather than attempt to register on the phone. I recommend the use of this app to my friends, colleagues and family at every opportunity, but most of them still insist on using the same one or two passwords for multiple logins because its "too much trouble", and the IT department doesn't care.

Pros

cross-platform, effortless syncing, iOS integration. Unlocking with the Touch Bar on a Mac, or with touch on iOS. Sure, now it is a subscription, but the syncing across multiple machines and platforms is well worth it to me.

Cons

It is quite complex, and some websites have weird sign-in procedure which 1Password can't parse properly.

### "A great time saver for me"

July 21, 2019

5.0

Since I used this application, I worry less about memorizing passwords, which is a great time saver. I have used it both in my organization and in my personal computer. I always carry 1Password everywhere.

Pros

The desktop version is very intuitive and easy to use in its versions for Windows, Linux and macOS. The extension of 1Password is probably the most used, and saves me a lot of time when entering passwords. The best functionality of the program is its ability to synchronize with other devices. I can also keep my most important documents and images safeguarded through the 1GB storage offered by 1Password.

Cons

Despite its advantages, it is a subscription-based service paid with very high annual fees. They should improve this aspect and pricing.

### "No More Losing Your Passwords"

January 28, 2019

5.0

Pros

This is an amazing solution to the age-old problem of losing and forgetting your passwords! I would constantly have my passwords in at least 3 different places, and still somehow manage to get locked out of accounts. With 1Password, I know all my information is always going to be in there and no one else can get in to see them. There are great features like folder sorting and limited sharing. I have passwords in folders which I need to share with coworkers, and then I have separate folders which are my own personal passwords.

Cons

If you ever lose your "key identifier" you are out of luck. It's extremely difficult to get in once you've lost this information! Write it down in 5 different places.

### "Must have to protect your accounts!"

April 24, 2022

5.0

Been using it for a little over a year(just subscribed for another year) and i've been enjoying it so far. No big complaints and seems to work pretty well.

Pros

I love how simple 1Password is. I use it to store for my important accounts and I am able to set up on any device and get my password easily. I have windows 10, linux, and iphone and they were all easy to set up and use.

Cons

I would for there to be an option to print(or export as a text file) my passwords in case i don't have internet access or lost access to my 1password account. I don't know my passwords(auto-generated passwords from 1password) so a physical copy of my password(s) would be nice.

Easily the most used and most critical app on all of my devices, the first thing I install is 1Password and having tried most of the other main password managers, 1Password is leaps and bounds ahead in almost every area.

Pros

1Password was the original password manager, and they continue to provide the best overall experience and cutting edge technological advancements.

### "Invaluable tool for creating and maintaining secure passwords"

August 7, 2018

5.0

1password allows me to be confident that my personal data is secure, and that I am meeting the strict security criteria required for my job.

Pros

I probably use between 10 and 30 different login accounts on a daily basis, both personally and professionally, and so a password manager like 1password has revolutionised my workflow. I'm also an avid Apple user, so i really appreciate the tight integration 1password has with the Mac and iOS ecosystems. The software is very high quality, reliable, secure and regularly updated.

Cons

I managed to get 1password at a discount, but the regular price is on the high side for my liking. The price is the only thing that occassionaly stops me wholeheartedly recommending it to others.
