You need to remember just master password and rest this tool with take care. With 1password,need not to worry on shared system as it work with individual user. Pros While working on system, It have dozen of password to remember and every month those have to be changed. Thanks to 1Password which have solve the problem. Now I can have one master password and I can save all my password on the go. Works very well with Firefox. Good autofill feature and showing the history of password. I am happy I store it all in one place. Pros It works over every device and applies to any kind of password. Sharing passwords among family users is good Cons It can have annoying pop-ups. It often does not recognise the website due to a variation in the URL. It need a better duplicate checker. Easier merge. New users have difficulty getting used to it. All the passwords are saved in 1Passwords and I don't have to remember any password. Pros 1Password has apps on almost all platforms. Each app works well in terms of filling passwords on websites and other applications. Mobile apps support biometric authenticator for further security. One of the favourite features is the generated password history, where you can see the previously generated passwords. You can generate passwords according to your need with higher complexity. Syncing with multiple platforms happen almost instantly. Cons The browser extension logs you out in a short period of time. It is available for free for all IBM employees and passwords are encrypted and only one person who has access to 1password with his own credentials can use it without showing passwords to the people over screensharing. Pros Easy to use and lightweight software that provides one shop stop solution for storing our secret passwords in one place. This software is something which IBM recommends and using it on daily basis to store all of the Business apps/ servers/ databases and URL credentials. Recommend even for my Mother" June 1, 2018 5.0 Pros Absolute security - nearly a decade after adopting it, not once has it given me pause to worry about security. Sync across multiple platforms and devices. Just behind (thankfully) the cutting edge of technology on the Mac and iOS platforms - right where I want my security app to be. I now have myself, my family, even my mother on a 1Password for Families account which bring a perfect subset of "business" features to the shared family experience. And now we're running with 1Password for Teams at work. I think it's a great value for the money. Cons Integrated browser helper not reliable on some of the more esoteric sign-in pages being designed today, but works great on any traditional username/password login page. Pros Getting the app installed was easy. Each time I type in a password, it asks to save. I can access my passwords from anywhere - phone, tablet, laptop, which is so convenient. I love that it gives you alerts if your passwords need to change. Cons It doesn't always ask to store or update passwords when you change. April 9, 2019 5.0 I have been using this software for years, and I believe it is a must in today's world. Software for password management is something no person in this world(who is online) should be without. From my experience, 1Password is absolutely the best for this purpose. I honestly cannot say much of anything bad about it, with only one complaint, while the problem is more my fault anyhow. I have many, \*many\*, logins, and over the years my list of passwords alone has grown to over 2,000 items, while many of those items are duplicates. A feature I would love to see to solve this problem would be to sort out and find duplicates automatically, searching by website address, title...and maybe other details, but at least to include duplicate items from the website address and title. Once these duplicates are found, I could merge them, delete them, rename them, or just leave as is, whichever case would be needed. Pros 1Password is the top of the top, providing a clean user interface, and flawless implementation that syncs with browsers and makes login a snap. Cons 1Password outshines the rest, though as a simple utility the cost per month is fairly high. The option to buy lifetime licenses for employees would be much better. Cons Honestly, I don't have any complaints about this software. It does what it says it will! I'm really pleased with it. Feels very secure and and is super easy to use. Pros Powerful tool to hold all your passwords, credentials, sensitive information, all in one place with robust protection. Works great on all Mac platforms and they are fast to integrate with new Apple features (TouchID, FaceID, etc.) Cons Sometimes with app has crashed, but it is infrequent and quick to restart. The Android version is very glitchy. Pros So far the best password manager I have used. I tried Bitwarden, Nordpass, Keeper, and Lastpass but 1Password seems to be more stable and handy for me. Of course, paying for a service is most of the time better than a free alternative. Awesome Pros 1password is an awesome product. It works for desktop and mobile perfectly. A seamless integration. I love that it can be used for personal or team vaults. Easy to use, safe secure and trusted. I recommend to all I meet. Cons There is only one bug sometimes in mobile although I know I have a password for the site, it can not recognise the site or url and no search box appears. Which is annoying. The password generator makes sure that the passwords are secure and that I don't have to keep dreaming up nonsensical ones to remember. Pros 1Password lets me keep all my personal and work passwords in one application, but separated. Since every password is unique (and difficult!) when a data breach happens I know only one site is affected and only need to change one password. Time and stress saver!!! Their Watchtower feature helps identify weak and duplicate passwords and ones that should be updated. The browser extensions help put passwords right where you need them too. Cons I honestly have no complaints. OK, the international processing fee (mere pennies) for my bill since it's a Canadian company. Managing Director Internet Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Would yuo trust these people with your entire life's online security" February 14, 2019 1.0 Ok – the really frustrating thing here is that it clearly works for loads of people and, for those for whom it does work, it's clearly a thing of beauty. However I have tried twice now and failed. Furthermore I could get no response from the ticketing system – no live chat and certainly no phone. I followed all the help videos but nothing worked as described. I even downloaded the application (not the app) to my desktop. Took about 20 mins to install and then, when launched, it didn't recognise my login – the same one that worked on the website. Bear in mind that these guys take a credit card number off you before you can sign up so the clock is ticking as you try to get it to work. For paid applications you have to expect a better level of support. In the end – when they want to take over your entire online security there was just no level of confidence for me. I shuddered to think what might have happened if my one password failed down the track and I became locked out of everything online. No live chat, no phone and no email response - doesn't bear thinking about. For the record – I'm a web developer. I say this just to let you know that I do have a pretty good idea how these kinds of technology should work – this one doesn't. Software Engineer Computer Games Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Worth every penny" August 30, 2018 5.0 Pros The benefits of a password manager are many, but I haven't shopped around enough to really compare feature sets. That said, there is nothing I know I want that 1Password doesn't have. I started using it when the focus was still largely on the Apple ecosystem, but I now happily use the chrome and cli variants on my linux machine, the android app (loving the ability for it to be the default form completion app), and on my windows gaming machine. I've also recently joined another company that was using it for shared secrets, and the single interface with clear separation between vaults and groups of vaults has been excellent. Cons Although I appreciate the challenge, I would still like a full blown linux (or at least debian variants) native client. The initial install process on windows via the windows app store was also a bit wonky. Review Source Anthony N. Cons The one thing I do not like is that it makes you re-enter your password each time you leave the app. IT would be nice to have a few minutes to go back and forth without having to enter your passcode each time.
