Add to that the ability to share passwords within the family is fantastic. If you don't like looking for your passwords all the time then this tool is for you. Pros I love how easy it is to store and share encrypted passwords using 1Password. It is a great tool for a small to mid org who wants to keeps their passwords in a secured area. It makes it easier to manage numerous passwords in a world where we have to remember so many already. It's also really easy to enter a password on any website using their chrome add on. Our IT also likes that they can share passwords with us employees and they can keep us from seeing that password so we can't share it further. Cons There are some website that it doesn't work well with (in my case, SEMrush) and it will try to fill a sign up form fill instead of a log in form. Pros I have always liked the desktop UI of the software. Plus it syncs across my devices and I'm in control of my sync method. The best new feature is the password integration in iOS. You can now auto-fill your logins in iOS in any app. My wife and I share the same account so all of our passwords sync seamlessly between our devices. Cons I don't really have any cons for the software. It just works and does its job. A must-have an app for techie users. Worth for the money. Pros I've recently installed this software on my mobile and I started to enjoy the cool features. It is available on Windows as well. You can easily store your passwords, login credentials, and other important data, and auto-fill options really handy features for mobile users. When I started using it, I considered 1Password but it didn't seem as intuitive as Dashlane. Now the reverse is true—Dashlane has taken a steep dive into mediocrity (and beyond) and Dashlane seems so easy and intuitive by comparison! So glad I gave it a second try years later!! Pros It works! It's especially useful on my new iPhone which uses FaceID! It’s very secure and the password generator makes very strong passwords to keep all of my accounts safe. Pros I like that it also has a password generator to create those passwords that require symbols, caps, numbers, etc. It’s a great way to keep track of all your passwords and it will auto fill them on your computer or phone. You also have the ability to sync your passwords and logins across all your devices. Cons In the beginning it takes some time getting used to a password manager. Thanks to everyone at Agile Bits for a great product! Pros I really love how easy this software is to use. Also, the hooks into the system in iOS and macOS are great! This means that I can easily access my passwords and other information to fill in forms on my phone and computer. Cons There isn't much that is wrong with this software. The only thing I find kind of annoying is that I don't use folders much to organize my passwords because search is great so if there was a way to turn that off, it would be handy. Long before apple and google started saving passwords in their own cloud. 1Password remains the best and most secure password saving application. Incredible integration with IOS12. Cons From time to time they will release desktop and IOS apps that are not free upgrades. I've found in the last 2-3 years that they've become more money hungry. I don't like the free-to-download, pay-to-use model. The chrome extension makes things seamless, I'm so glad I invested into this product, it's saved me countless minutes every day. Cons No cons with 1password. Now, there are no issues of me forgetting any important passwords, whether personally or professionally. Pros 1Password has just solved all my concerns and worries. It is capable of retaining all my passwords securely. It helps me to quickly switch between various devices and machines remotely without worrying to enter passwords again and again. Given its two-factor authentication feature, one's passwords are totally secure. Cons The pricing of the software can be considered, given other competitors in the market. Cons 1password is not always easy to handle for users who are non-technical. You have to get them used to generating and recording passwords from the browser's extension. Also the product is a little bit pricy. If I had known that at the start I would have chosen another service. Pros The concept is great and they make it complicated to both sign up and sign in on purposed. That part makes sense that it's supposed to be the "Fort Knox" of information protection. Cons I changed both my computer and my cell phone and was never able to recover my account information. So despite reaching out to customer service to request help - turns out there is no way to ever recover information such as your password or the "secret key." So essentially the only way to "reset" is to ask for your account to be removed. But important to note that it doesn't stop the billing process. They are not at all sympathetic and they assume people want to keep paying, regardless of any difficulty logging in. Pros Like most folks, I can not remember all my PWs. I think while working I had 150 signons. Of course I wanted to use the same magic pw for all for them which I never felt comfortable with but did not have a solution. 1PW gave me the tool to take command of my sign ons. I love that it generates complex PW I can not believe anyone would guess and I feel confident that it is safely stored. I also like it alerts me to pws are that I duplicated and ones that have been compromised that I need to attend to. finally I like I can run 1PW on my Macbook, ipad and iphone . 1PW made my life better. Cons It annoys me when my PWs are either too easy, duplicated or compromised which means I have to do something which really is a pro most days. Review Source JH James H. Setup is pretty easy, all you need to do is set a master password, download the app or browser extension, and you are ready to go. Pricing for teams is reasonable at $20 for 10 users per month. It's not that obtrusive when using it, the 1Password logo is present during password screens and you have the option to select it. Cons Every time you want to invoke 1Password, you need to type in the master password. This gets pretty tedious but if you have a MacBook with Touch ID, this is less of a hassle. While 1Password will provide suggestions for complex passwords and prompt to save them, sometimes you still need to enter the account name. Some sites have password constraints that require multiple attempts before a suitable password is found. 1Password should be smarter about what password it suggests if previous ones aren't working. Pros In my day to day, I'm logged into over 10 different websites or app at a time and because of the many different password requirements per site, it's difficult to remember the password for all. 1Password has helped me and my team share logins to sites, access any site or app in a moment's time and never have to worry about not being able to log in! It's the best and makes my day so much easier. Cons There is no free option available for this software, which may be it's only negative aspect. July 29, 2019 5.0 So far I love using 1Password and have found it to be secure and reliable! Pros This software seems more secure than other password portals I've used in the past. I love that I was able to easily import all of my passwords via a .csv and didn't have to sit there and manually type them all in when migrating to 1Password. You can also have shared passwords amongst your team/org that everyone may need access to, like the office wifi password that rotates/changes, and your own personal passwords that only you can access. Cons The only con I've experienced with this software thus far is that when I imported my passwords they went under the wrong "vault". I had to re-do this a few times to ensure they made it to the right place and also that they were aligned to the right system since it populates in alphabetical order. Switched from [KeePass](https://www.capterra.com/p/151987/KeePass/) I made the switch as my company deemed KeePass not fully secure and advised us all to try 1Password.
