Pros

I use 1Password multiple times a day... I wouldn't be able to login anywhere without it! The syncing between devices, the automatic saving of new passwords, generating new strong passwords, and so on. The software even alerts me of passwords or websites that were compromised.

Cons

Can't thing of a single con. The 1Password team is always keeping things updated with latest technology and security. Absolutely love it!

1Password is a secure, easy-to-use digital vault for all my passwords. It also stores credit cards, software licenses, and other pieces of information that must stay secret. I just need to memorize a master password to unlock the program, and it does the rest of the job by generating random, long passwords for each of the online services that I use.

Pros

I think these are the main advantages of 1Password: 1. It's secure. 1Password uses open security standards that have passed the test of time and have undergone innumerous security audits, like AES and PBKDF2, to protect my collection of passwords and other sensitive pieces of information. 2. It's easy to use. You just need a master password to unlock 1Password; it generates secure passwords for your online services and even types them automatically for you whenever you need to log in. 3. It's cross-platform. 1Password works on different operating systems across dozens of devices: Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android. 4. It keeps your passwords synchronized among your devices. 1Passwords synchronizes your data among different devices and systems, so that when you generate a new password in one device, it's sent to all your other devices running the app.

Cons

In my opinion, 1Password has two disadvantages: 1. It's not inexpensive. 1Password has a subscription-based pricing model, which many users consider controversial as it can accumulate quickly. 2. It doesn't have a native desktop version for Linux. Linux users can only use 1Password through browser extensions.

Overall- I love this product! Life on the internet is made so much easier. :)

Pros

Where to begin? I was granted a license for 1Password through my company. They use it organizationally and I can also store my personal passwords in the Private vault. Gone are the days of forgetting your password, resetting it over and over only to forget what you had changed it to. I love how the product asks you to save a password on a new site, monitors password updates and easily stores credit card information too. It's all SO easy. I use the Chrome extension every day.

Cons

There is really not much I don't like about this software. It's simple and easy to use. It's never prompted me to reset my master password, which is a bit of a security concern for me. I wish that it would remind me to change my master password on occasion.

Pros

1Password integrates well with Chrome to provide generate and storage of complex passwords for all sites. Setup is easy, just install the web extension. When you turn over password management to 1Password, it will trigger when passwords are prompted and provide an auto-generated complex password. The account is then saved for future use. This means that you just need to remember one password moving forward, your 1password master password. Security can't be underestimated in this age of fishing and scams.

Cons

The UX is quite clunky. When 1password takes over for chrome, chrome no longer saves passwords automatically. While that is more secure, this means that you'll have to input the keyboard shortcut for 1password, enter your master password, then autofill the saved password. Way too many steps compared to a auto-saved password.

Pros

Easily share a vaults of passwords with different employees/teams as needed.

Cons

I can't really think of anything negative about this software, but I do not know how much it costs.

Pros

I like how convenient it is to use. What I love the most is that it integrates with iOS and MacOS. You can use the app and it also works as a plugin in Safari. The app gives you recommendations for passwords and a ton of options. You can also back the passwords up via iCloud and other options.

Cons

There’s not much I don’t like about to app. They could give it a visual makeover but other than that, it works fine.

My experience is mostly positive. It is hard now that password managers are mainstream to personal and professional use. So if you have a personal 1Pass or competitor product and try to use a business account simultaneously, it's really tough.

Pros

I like that 1Password works. Flat out. All the functions you need from a password manager - usability across devices and browsers, ability to generate secure passwords, security detection, and storage - are top notch.

Cons

Now that Safari, Chrome, and 1Passwords' competitors are ALL always asking for permission to save passwords, it's a bit of a cluster. 1Password is always the slowest of the bunch and that makes it hard to create a stickiness with the product. If my company didn't use this I would use LastPass for everything.

My overall experience has been very pleasant as I have been using the software for over two years.

Pros

I like that 1Password definitely provides a greater sense of security when it comes to keeping my log-in credentials safe in the vaults.

Cons

I do not like that sometimes it auto-generates passwords onto new sign-ins which leaves me with just that option instead of putting in my desired password.

I've been a user since the beginning and rely on this tool daily to help keep my accounts secure.

Pros

Easy to use, works across all my devices, great browser integration. The new integration with iOS 12 is amazing also!

Cons

I don't like that, with the new version, they are pushing people so hard to go to cloud-based storage of credentials. I don't want my most sensitive information being stored on a server that could become compromised.

Overall, I truly feel 1Password has saved me a ton of time when logging into the various different software that my company uses daily. I'm so happy we are given the opportunity to use it!

Pros

I am someone that consistently has to reset my password because I'm always forgetting what I set up. 1Password has saved me SO much time and headache on having to reset my passwords or figure out a safe place to store my passwords to ensure no one is stealing my information!

Cons

At first I had trouble navigating where the shared passwords were, but I have that down so I really don't have any complaints with 1Password!

Very good software, totally recommend it, it’s cheap I haven’t done the subscription just owning the software, but for what it does I don’t mind going to the subscription model if needed

Wish they came out with more functionality like being able to call the phone number on our cc instead of just being able to copy it, small things like that

It's hit or miss with 1Password for me. I think overall it's okay, but I use BitWarden daily instead of 1Password because it offers the same features, if not more, and it costs absolutely nothing. I also have more trust and faith in open source products from a security audit standpoint.

Pros

1Password is one of the bigger players on the market so the product itself feels polished and feature-rich

Cons

There are certain areas where 1Password lacks and it's not as user friendly as some other alternatives on the market.

Pros

There is a lot to love about this software. The integration with all my browsers, FaceID integration on iPhone X, Vaults, WatchTower, syncing across devices, password generator... I could keep going. This software makes it easy to keep really secure passwords for all my sensitive information and accounts on all my devices.

Cons

the only thing I dislike about the software is how launching a website to log in from the mobile app opens the webpage within the 1Password App and not within another, such as Safari. This is easy to get around by starting the process in Safari makes it simple to log in but sometimes I don't know the URL that I need to use and have to refer to the app. It is a very minor problem.

This saves countless hours over the course of a month and continues to do so. Well worth the nominal cost of the subscription.

Pros

Without a doubt, this is probably the most useful subscription-based software I currently utilize. I can't even imagine how many times this has saved me from having to resort to sifting through spreadsheets or Evernote documents. They absolutely love this platform on desktop as well as mobile.

Cons

I honestly can't see that there is anything that I do not like on 1Password. Previously we did experience some syncing issues between the Mac and mobile devices but this had been solved a few years back.

Pros

I like that this software alerts me to passwords that could be in trouble and that it has a secure encryption. This can bite you in the end if you don't save your master password but it should be fine if you follow their instructions. I also like the vault systems so I can keep my personal usernames and passwords away from my work clutter.

Cons

I mainly use Firefox as a browser and it can be a bit finicky, especially on mobile in detecting the correct password but this is a minor annoyance.

I stopped looking once I found it, it was the password vault for me!

Pros

No longer are the days of using only 1Password for all your passwords! Now you can use 1Password to log in to get all your passwords. I've used the stand-alone vaults and forewent the monthly fee, which has worked for me. Granted I did run into an issue when Chrome did an update and the extension would no longer work. But the price is worth it. I've never had a hacked account using this software and that's why I use it.

Cons

Sucks to setup at first but once you get the hang of saving passwords.. IF I can teach my grandpa how to do it you can learn too!

Reason for choosing 1Password

Honestly can't even remember if i did look, i'm sure i did but this product has worked and customer service was quick and the FAQ page helped out as well!

Pros

Essentially enables the use of complex passwords across all platforms and apps. Especially useful when combines with fingerprint/face scanners for logging in and quick-access to your password vault. Makes getting set up on a new device simple.

Cons

Doesn't work the same across all platforms, and once you're committed, it's tricky to just casually log in to any of your accounts from an unfamiliar device.

Five star! When I learned about this awesome product, I have never considered other alternatives.

Pros

I love that it takes less space in my mind when creating and memorizing passwords because I just don't have to do that since they are safely stored in this tool!

Cons

The least I like about this product is how it would not pop up in rare cases but I guess it is the website's fault for not being set to be recognized as a box where usernames and passwords are inputted.

Our company used 1Password so that all of the websites we use on a daily basis can become accessible for everyone in the office. It has completely simplified logging in a completing tasks during the day. It is beyond helpful!

Pros

Cluttered brain filled with passwords you can't remember? NO MORE! One password takes care of this and stores all your password onto your computer. All they ask is that you remember your master password (only ONE) and they take care of the rest.

Cons

I don't really have a con about this software, but I have noticed that several of my coworkers have trouble with it when they are not using Macs and especially when they are using Google Chrome. I have never had any issues, but it seems to work perfectly on Safari, which is what I use.
