Pros The software allows you to keep track of all your passwords in one place and have to remember only one password. Cons Can't think of anything wrong with that software. Taking the price away 1Password works much better and is way more secure than anything else i have tried for password management. Constant updates and easy navigation when you do need to access a password make 1Password a win! Pros Security. That is what 1Password excels at. It is more than just a place to keep all of the passwords to websites. It is secure nothing is going to leak and the team at 1Password do a great job keeping things up to date to make sure you are always secure. Single click sign on is fantastic but for me the security is what makes it worth the hefty price (for what it is) Cons THE PRICE! I use 1Password for everything. Business and personal use but man i am unsure if i could justify the price again (for what it is) it is hefty. Security comes at a price I’m aware but the annual subscription price is a bit much for me at least. Senior ICT Specialist Information Technology and Services Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Perfect for users with a little knowledge, high security and easy access to your passwords" January 5, 2020 4.0 In overall a secure online platform, neatly integrated with browsers and desktop, thanks for letting me try your password manager! Pros While using the password manager, you don't even feel that you have to think about your passwords anymore, the extensions for the browser to auto-fill the password are neatly integrated. The price is not high for a small team, but its still the cloud, the passwords are transmitted secure using their javascript tooling, but no secure desktop, keyloggers have no chance, but before the browser is sending the POST to the server, 1password did not convince me of having this part more covered. Looking at other password managers, which are running locally in a secure encrypted process, or shared secure clipboard access with obfuscation via a VM are more like what I was looking for. But maybe I am going a little to far, for normal usage, its a perfect manager and you don't have to be afraid of anyone be able to access your data from 1password, that's really secure! Cons The 1password website is really trying to convince possible buyers why to choose them to manage your passwords, but are not available in the evenings with the chat on Sunday, which is not helping a lot of users I suppose. Would be nice to see that 1password puts more effort in showing more advanced users why to choose for 1password. Review Source Louis G. Pros It's simple: I never have to remember a bunch of passwords or come up with secure ones ever again. 1Pass does it for me. Cons The team capabilities are not super easy to navigate, I've had to go around asking colleagues how to move passwords to different "vaults". I think they fixed this in a recent update, but I haven't updated yet. Pros 1Password is very easy to use and a highly secured password management tool. I love their UI better than any other tools on the market. Generating long, secured passwords and saving and using them when you need them is a massive time-saver for me. If you're looking for a password manager, 1Password is the tool you should go for. The pricing is very reasonable for the family plan, and if you're a business owner, 1Password has different packages for you too. Cons I don't have any complaints, 1Password is here to stay. In my past life :-) I got locked out of various websites/accounts fairly regularly. I had one or two "go to" passwords, but due to various sites password policies they would not always work, which lead to quite a bit of confusion. I have no complaints about the features and capabilities of this app. I love that my passwords are synced across all of my devices. This is very convenient. Cons This app is clunky and bothersome. I finally had to unload it from my laptop because it was a nuisance and bothersome. I was losing productivity. 1Password has changed my password without my permission. The app is also slow. I have been using it for > 5 years now. With the new subscription model, I am thinking to switch to other options. Pros With 1 password, I don't need to save my passwords on the cloud. It can sync between machines through dropbox with encrypted file. This way, to hack my password, hacker will have to breach both my dropbox account and 1 password encryption. It is much safer compare to cloud based password manager. The IOS 12 integration is very helpful on mobile devices. Cons 1 password changed license model from software licensing to subscription. It has saved me SO MUCH time, and it's also made my business and accounts more secure. I wish I would have done this sooner! Pros I love how easy it is to keep track of all of my passwords and keep them safe. I also love that they autogenerate passwords and that you can select certain qualifications for those passwords (like no symbols, only numbers, etc). Cons I hate when I open a password page to look at the login info, the "reveal password" and "reset password" buttons are right on top of each other. So, if I am trying to see my password, sometimes it automatically resets my password in the software. As far as I can tell, there is no way to go back to my old password, so I have to logout without saving (then start over), or I lose that original password forever (and have to reset it on the website). I wish they had a popup that asked "Are you sure you want to reset this password?" or an option to undo when you reset a password in the app by mistake. Review Source LJ Lauren J. Also very easy to import saved passwords from google chrome which was a big timesaver. Pros My Passwords used to be all over the place. I would forget them, and re-use passwords where I shouldn't be. Since getting 1Password, I now have secure passwords across all sites, and am able to access them from my phone, computer, or browser without any issue. Cons Adding logins is sometimes difficult and the auto-fill doesn't always work. July 16, 2019 5.0 Pros One password, thats it! You only need to remember your master password in order to successfully protect all your accounts. This doesn't only store passwords either! Credit cards, serial numbers, bank info etc can all be stored safely within 1Password. Cons Doesn't work perfectly with Touch or Face ID on apple devices. The few time I've had to rely on support, they have always been prompt and friendly in providing solutions. Cons \- I don't like software subscriptions, so the recent trend towards their subscription service worries me a bit.
