### "1Password is CRITICAL"

March 22, 2017

5.0

I'm a career IT pro, and I can tell you right now, you need this app. End of story. There are many others like it, but this one is mine - the first true leader in the space, and still the greatest. Our entire staff uses 1P for their personal password management, and are encouraged to do so. We also recommend usage of this specific product to all of our clients. It's a no brainer.

Pros

Powerful, simple, fast. Fabulous development, industry leading integrations while maintaining top notch security, terrific support. These guys get it.

Cons

None that I can think of other than that password management, in general, is a bit of a headache. Folks just need to accept it - you can't do better than 1P.

### "A safe place to store your password (with cloud sync for your favorite apps)"

October 24, 2019

5.0

It is the best password & safe notes management tool, but you have to pay monthly now if you really want to enjoy all the features!

Pros

1Password is an easy to use, with an diversity of sync options (Drive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, + others). Login options and category organization of your passwords and safe notes are a great thing + the user-friendly interface

Cons

Paid subscription accounts (introduced in Version 6) made very expensive to use the App (since, in the past, you could pay only for the app, itself) a considerable ammount, but worthy.

### "Best password manager"

May 23, 2021

5.0

It is great. I think it is really good value for money. Especially when compared to other password managers that offers free plans (last pass for example).

Pros

\- It is available on all my devices (macbook, iphone, ipad). - 2fa is really easy to setup and manage. - My password are always different on every site I login on. Also,

Cons

When I reboot my phone (when doing iOS update for example). It asks me for my password instead of just requiring faceID, when i want to quickly fill out login form. In order to turn the faceID on, I have to enter the password in the app (entering the password when doing quick autofill won't turn faceID on). I understand this is probably required because of security, but it is super annoying, especially when in public...

1password has much better UI. Also, there were some leaks of LastPass database.

### "Hands down the best password manager out there"

May 30, 2021

5.0

Overall the experience has been extraordinary, with virtually nothing to even nit-pick about. After comparing a number of other popular password managers, 1Password was a no-brainer.

Pros

1Password is easily the best password management solution for companies, teams, and individuals. Setup is dead simple, on-boarding is straightforward, even for those with less of a technical inclination. The browser extension and mobile apps make use extremely convenient and saves a lot of time spent typing or copy/pasting credentials without it, or with some other managers. 1Password also features "Watchtower", which alerts you when passwords have been found to have been leaked through compromised websites and similar events. As far as I am aware, no other password manage offers such a feature.

Cons

I had no complaints about 1Password, and after a recent update that added dark mode and polished parts of the software, it's hard for me to even find something to nitpick about.

### "Makes my business more secure"

December 7, 2021

5.0

I am glad to use 1Password, and I think it is critical for a serious business to use some sort of password protection, and not only using a Excel or Google Sheets document for passwords.

Pros

The ease of use of 1Password makes me want to use 1Password both professionally and private. What I like the most should be that I don't have to use the same password over and over again to remember it, and can use more secure passwords. To be honest, I wouldn't use it, if it weren't as easy as it is. I feel more secure now, and can sleep better, knowing my and my clients data is safer

Cons

I haven't found a single thing that I don't like about 1Password. There are more alternatives, so I had a hard time deciding. I don't think that 1Password is much more unique than competitors, so I think it could have choosen any, but am glas that I went with 1Password.

### "By far my favorite password manager"

December 10, 2019

5.0

9/10 times it works perfectly. My team and I use it constantly

Pros

My favorite feature by far is the fact that you can add the 2 step verification to any log-in. This makes sharing SO much easier. I also like that you need a personal key to enter to a new computer.

Cons

In the mac aplication, the toggle doesn't always work. Sometimes it asks me to launch the chrome extension (which is already up), and it still doesn't work.

### "Security without complexity"

March 31, 2022

5.0

Since working with 1Password I have never felt that my security or data was compromised. Their platform has allowed me to make my life more secure.

Pros

Once set up on your PC or phone 1Password effectively allows me to never have to remember a password ever again. As someone in IT with 50+ systems to manage all requiring 2FA, I could not do my job without this platform.

Cons

Getting it seamless with each browser is not a simple task, but part of that is the required security needed from something that holds the keys to all the castles.

### "Use it every day"

May 26, 2022

5.0

Pros

Easy to store, generate, retrieve passwords. I use it for everything. It's one of my must-have digital subscriptions. Can't imagine going back to remembering my passwords.

Cons

Sometimes the password generation flow doesn't work perfectly for a new signup: e.g., after generating a password, the "copy and go" button opens a new tab, rather than pasting the new password value into the password form box in the browser. I wish it were slightly easier to operate without having to use the mouse.

### "Great Password Manager"

June 26, 2018

5.0

Ease of saving all my login info in a virtual password book that I can use on both my Macbook Pro but also on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I really like that it's cross compatible.

Pros

I used 1Password a few years back and loved it, and then my Macbook died. Here I am years later and I'm using it again. I love the simplicity of it. I love the fact it can be used across several platforms and not cost me extra. I just love the fact it does what it should do.

Cons

My only complaint with this software is the annoying prompt to save a password. In fact I've found a few instances where I'm not entering a password and it will ask me if I want to save it.

### "Can't live without it"

August 1, 2018

5.0

Pros

How do you remember the passwords for every website you use? Ask any security professional, and they'll give you the same answer: Don't. You can't possibly remember more than a handful of unique passwords, and re-using the same password across multiple websites leaves you vulnerable to having your account hacked on all of those sites when any one of them suffers a breach. 1Password has been around for years and developed a reputation for reliability (a critical feature for this kind of software!). Password sync seamlessly across all devices you install 1Password on, and its browser extensions let you enter the right password for every site with only a keystroke. And entering passwords that way helps to protect you against phishing attacks, since 1Password will only enter the site's password if the domain is correct. Every version brings smart new updates to stay security-savvy. My favorite recent feature: The built-in "Watchtower," which keeps you apprised of which passwords you may need to change due to reported breaches.

Cons

The search feature can be a little clunky. It's important to title your logins appropriately so that you'll remember how to find them.

### "Middle of the road software"

December 12, 2019

The features I paid for in 1Password became free in it’s competitors and they had more features. As a single user, finding the free version of another product beating the paid version of the product I am using was galling. I switched (even when offered the free subscription with another bundled product). For small teams, this product was lacking so many of the features I needed

Pros

This was the clear (to me) leader in the field when I chose to replace the old solution I had fallen into many years back (when I was only concerned with windows desktop/laptops), and looked to a solution for Mac and mobile. As a single user it had all the features I needed.

Cons

It didn’t scale well to the use cases I had for multiple users or sharing. It didn’t get updated at the speed of other apps on mobile devices. It made it very hard to get my data back out of, to try competitors.

### "Best Password Manager"

June 5, 2021

5.0

\* 1Password proved to be the best solution for use to help our team members use secure passwords.

Pros

\* Great integration and synchronization with macOS, iOS, iPadOS (and probably also other platforms, but we don't use them) and all major browsers. \* Great management features for teams (we are a 70 person company) \* Great usability with good keyboard shortcuts, perfect usage of Apple Watch for some authentication requests, and the UI in general.

Cons

\* We've found new team members, who are new to using password managers have some kind of learning curve to consistently switch from memorized passwords to the password managers.

### "Most used App I own"

August 11, 2019

5.0

This app is an absolute must have. I recommend it to everyone. No need to use the same few passwords that you remember, which leaves you open to hackers; no need to keep spread sheets of login information and passwords for all sites visited, which is time consuming and not always available; no need to save passwords separately across multiple devices. It offers storage of more than just passwords too, save router numbers, software licenses, notes, credit cards, id's and licenses, memberships, and docs

Pros

This app generates unique complicated log-in and passwords, categorizes them, saves them and recalls them so they auto-fill when you log into a revisited site. It makes having unique difficult passwords for each site a snap and saves you having to type in your user name and password everytime you access a site.

Cons

Saving the same site login information into different vaults within the app, warns you that you are using a duplicated password. This is annoying since it implies you reused a password for two different sites, rather than you have saved the site information into different vaults

### "It is like locking all of your valuable information inside of a vault"

December 7, 2018

4.0

With this one app, I have been able to store all of my passwords, as well as my credit card info and other important things, and have quick and easy access to them when I need them. And I don't worry at all about it because I know the 1Password will keep them all safe and secure.

Pros

The ability to save all of your log in information for every site and all you have to do is remember the main password to get into 1password. Or they have the ability to use Face Id to log in. Once logged into the app, you can quickly launch a site and sign in all in a single motion. 1Password will take care of the work for you. This software is available on your smart device and your desktop so where ever you need it, it is there. You really can't top this app for securing your information.

Cons

The only thing that could make this software any better would be if it was free. But I gladly pay the small fee to be able to have so many feature and know everything is safe and sound.

Cons

Cons

### "1Password is a Top Mac App"

October 30, 2018

5.0

I love 1Password. It's an app I'm glad I pay for. I use it all the time. It works well and it has me covered in terms of security, credit card numbers and logins, etc. When I owned an Android and a Mac it worked great together and now that I'm on iOS and Mac it works perfectly. I found that it works so well that I got the family plan and have my wife and kids on it as well.

Pros

\- powerful security app - just remember 1 password, it takes care of the rest - does security audits - looks beautiful - can store credit cards, secure notes, and more - cross platform

Cons

\- subscription model can be hard for people to pay for - confusing for how to setup and use at first for some users

### "Reliable Password Management Solution"

August 26, 2023

5.0

1Password is a great tool for easy storage, management, and sharing of passwords. It generates strong passwords for different sites and stores them securely. The auto fill function makes it easy to use. Our experience is largely positive.

Pros

1Passwords creates unpredictable passwords and safely stores them in a secrete vault with a master password. It is easy to use because of the auto-fill function. It improves security by ensuring each site has a unique password. It can securely store payment details including Credit card details and other personal information. It also allows us to share passwords securely among the members of our content writing team.

Cons

The free version has limited functions. For example you can store passwords and personal details but cannot share them. The free version does not really give users a snippet of what they will get when they subscribe.

### "Essential tool"

February 16, 2021

4.0

Great tool, well integrated, but could use some more refining in the interface.

Pros

With 1Password I always have all my passwords with me, on any computer, on any phone or tablet. Only this way i can use safe passwords for every service i use, without worrying about using the same password for multiple services.

Cons

Although the software is well integrated, the integration could be easier in some cases (like in mobile browsers) and less intrusive in other cases (like on fields in a browser). I could not find a preference to NOT save the password on certain sites and some sites just don't get recognized/saved.

### "All my sensible information is in here (except for...)"

May 20, 2019

5.0

1Password keeps my passwords, cards info and addresses safe. I mostly use it on iOS.

Pros

1Password is my password manager for my personal and professional life. It is secure and never had problems with leaked data of any user. The iOS version has been free for some years now and I bought the macOS because it was worth it. The integration with iCloud Keychain and the iOS ecosystem is perfect. I love how it reminds me to change my passwords and create new ones.

Cons

I keep all my sensible information inside 1Password, except for pictures and videos. It will be great if they can add that features in future updates.

### "1Password"

December 4, 2018

5.0

Overall a great application that makes securely logging into websites easy and also reduces possibility of being hacked due to the complexity of the passwords. Great value for a person heavily using mobile devices or their personal computers for business.

Pros

Ability to create strong passwords and store them in a central location with the ability to easily recall and automatically enter into websites/portals when required.

Cons

Hard to go between mobile devices and standalone devices that are not yours. Would have to find your password on the app, if using a different computer, and manually enter a very long alphanumeric password into a website.

### "1 Password is real value for money & use"

November 23, 2021

5.0

While we haven't implemented 1 Password for business use as yet the ease of use for individual use makes this the ideal software to use for a business and team setting where passwords need to be changed on a regular basis. For personal use, I find this software easy and great to ensure my personal passwords are safe and can be changed and managed easily.

Pros

The best feature about 1 Password is the ease of use when setting up and saving your passwords - it allows you to store all your passwords safely in one place and use them as you need in the day so your passwords can be varied and complex. It also allows you to have multiple vaults so you can separate your personal from work-related passwords.

Cons

I did find the initial set-up slightly more tedious on phone than on computer as the phone had to be entered more manually than the computer where you could just log in and out of the different site's passwords you want to be stored.

Pros

\- Easy to use - Decent password generator - Vulnerability flags - Can auto insert passwords into fields without copy/pasting and logging in
