I was having some issues uploading my data base of clients and I called there support. They were wonderful and suggested that perhaps a CSV file would work and sure enought it did. They also softly advised me of a few misspellings! Pros I like the fact that it is fast! When I need to download a transcript, depending in the IRS of course, I can retrieve it often within 30 seconds and go over it with a client. Also, the reports are compiled quickly. Of course, with this type of program, they will prepare the common forms which you need for resolution. Cons I am not sure about this, I can be picky and sometimes I need to realized that user error or failing to read instructions can be the source of angst. I have used one of the competitors and IRS Solutions is so much easier to use, great/fast support with questions, and they are reasonable in their pricing. Pros Simple, easy to use, support is great. Quick access to transcripts. Love the notifications via email with transcript updates and when I first get access to transcripts. Cons Would love more workflow processing in it and being able to automate it. Would love the ability to insert images, documents, pdfs to the notes section. User interface is much better than another product in this genre that confused me into disuse. Cons The only problems I have are of my own making. The other product I used built bad habits. Pros I really like the speed of transcript downloads; it is much more efficient than other products. I alos really appreciate the POA notification and account activity monitoring. The emails and notifications within IRS Solutions make it very easy to address issues and accesss client information. The secure document exchange portal, and the ability for clients to enter financial information are huge time savers. Cons We use other software for detailed reporting and account analysis of the tax transcripts. We wish that the software could calculate estimated installment agreement monthly payments based on the balances and CSEDs. The security is something trustworthy I can count on to manage my client's confidential information, while making my life easier to address their IRS problems! Pros I can't imagine doing tax resolution work without a great software like IRS Solutions. Even in normal Client support of IRS Notices, it makes my life a whole lot easier pulling transcripts, building letters from templates, and addressing my client issues. The user interface is fairly intuitive, with an easy guided learning curve through several weekly initial training e-mails. The value for money is a no brainer! Cons I wish I could add "lite" licenses that just allowed my colleagues who only need basic transcripts and letter templates as opposed to forms and financial analysis for full tax resolution work. I have been very pleased with IRS Solutions and highly recommend it. Pros The software is easy to learn to use. It is affordable and offers everything you need. The interface with the IRS is extremely efficient. Security is a high priority. Client management and tax management go hand in hand. And best of all there is WONDERFUL support. Cons I would love to see a chat feature to more easily communicate with clients. My clients don't answer emails as quickly as they do chats.
