Pros Managing social media can be challenging when the right tools aren't implemented. I remember how I was always online tracking the latest news, writing posts and getting tired when I started using social media then. But with ContentStudio, I can easily schedule my post and also recycle them when I want. I can easily track mentions, engage with relevant topics in my field and also increase my awareness. I also track analytics to know how well my content is performing. To manage your social media accounts better and curate quality content easily, ContentStudio is the right software to look out for. Cons I haven't noticed anything discouraging about this software. It makes content management a lot easier for me. It's a tool with loads of great features and it excellent value for money. Pros Content Studio's great for finding fantastic content to share with your audience and it's automation features save a lot of time. I also love the fact that I can publish articles to my WordPress blog from Content Studio as well using the built-in WordPress integration. The team are also continually adding new features and evolving the product. I use it alongside replug.io which adds another great feature to the content I share as I can drive people back to my website using the replug functionality. Cons The solution can take a little time to get your head around but once you have it's then very easy to use. Rep. and his whole team are excellent, truthful and transparent people and if you decide to choose their competition over them, I guarantee you WILL REGRET IT. Pros ContentStudio.io has totally changed the game for my business, including changing the game for all of my B2B clilents (whom all sell B2C on social media). We're able to take all of our social media presence to a whole new level, so much so that we've factually been a part of bringing more revenue into businesses that needed the boost. Cons The only thing that wasn't my favorite but was a necessity was the transition to V2, but to be honest, I have been with rep. and the team for a while now and they were transparent through the whole process. The end result was so worth it. I am literally a lifetime owner of the software and with my lifetime subscription they included all of the V2 updates (which they didn't have to), so I am grateful. June 4, 2020 5.0 The product seemed really great based on how it was marketed and it's definitely a great tool. Customer support is kind of a mixed bag. Some days they are more responsive than others, but I suppose that they are doing the best that they can. I was tempted to get a refund and move on to another service but then they kind of gave me an offer that I couldn't refuse. Content Studio appears to be just what I need to step our social media game up in a major way. I have no complaints about the product itself. Pros The user interface is clean and its easy to use. They have an iphone app(which is necessary to do scheduled postings to Instagram), the features seem to be very useful, they are constantly updating the product and introducing new features. The influencer and analysis add-ons seem pretty promising, just wish they weren't so costly. Cons I scheduled two demos because I wanted to have a more in-depth conversation about the features and functionality of the product, but the representatives failed to appear at both web conferences. I think the time difference plays a large role in their slow responsiveness when it comes to resolving customer issues. Also, the pricing isn't exactly great but it isn't bad. Content collaboration 3. Content distribution Pros The vendor is constantly updating. I was a beta user from its very first release and since then it's become completely user-friendly, the content scraping engine is second to none and team collaboration and client collaboration is extremely well-thought-out and built according to user needs. Cons That's it available publically! Haha! It's my go to main-stay tool for content marketing. Reason for choosing ContentStudio I have license to Story Chief as well. Both are good. Cons There's been a small bug with the Chrome extension with the way ContentStudio interacts with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] when the account has multiple workspaces. For those who want to automate posting to your social networks, its quite capable with a high degree of customization. If you take a little more hands on care with what you post, its content scheduling features are more than adequate. To have such a powerful curation tool within the same app is the value to me. Recently released version 2.0 is a big step forward for this tool. Cons If you don't take care with your content sources and filtering, your data can become a bit unwieldy. Certainly no different than any RSS solution, and Content Studio is far more powerful than that. Content discovery features can be really useful for small or medium teams. Analytics can also help your team stay focused on the metrics that matter. Pros ContentStudio is very easy to use. The approval process built inside of the platform is really useful. One of the most important and useful features is the ability to manage all social media platforms from inside the platform. Cons Statistics can glitch and show wrong data at times. Also, pricing for small and medium tiers can a bit expensive. February 16, 2020 5.0 Pros We love the ability to find other relevant content sources and have a feed that we can discover new content. The automation piece and the staging of content is unreal. We've seen it in other tools, but it was harder to manage. Here the UI just works. We also like the integrations with Replug to put retargeting and CTAs to work. Cons The inability to post directly to Instagram. I know this is an issue with most tools, but if I have people on my team doing it, they still have to have a phone nearby to make it happen. We're going to try and find a workaround, but it's an issue. Also, the inability to post stories to any of the social media channels is an issue. That has become a huge part of social. I could not do without ContentStudio. Pros I like the ease of use. Some websites are hard to navigate, but the interface is almost perfect on ContentStudio. Everything on screen is described fully, and I can find the information I need in just a few minutes — instead of taking an hour or two with other products. Cons It is really hard to pinpoint a weakness. But if I was adding a feature, I would love to see a dark mode, because light screens bother my eyes. Almost all sites have white and light grey in the background, but I prefer the choice of having a dark option. Reason for choosing ContentStudio ContentStudio provided everything we need, and the staff was very responsive to our questions and concerns. It has access to so many different features, such as social media posting, blog posting, research trending topics, analytics and much more. I really like to use the Discover tool on there to see what articles are currently receiving the most engagement, which gives me inspiration for my next article. I also love the social network aspect, as it allows me to automate postings of interesting articles to my social feeds so even if I have nothing to update my socials with personally, I can get ContentStudio to lineup some social update links to articles published by similar themed news sources. Similarly, I can push through my RSS feed for my blog so that the links to my posts can be pushed to my chosen social media accounts. There's tons of tools I have access to on ContentStudio which I've yet to use as I've not needed them, but it provides plenty of opportunity for all sorts of marketers and their needs. Cons As ContentStudio is laden with features, I sometimes struggle to navigate the website as well as I could. Realistically, I don't think much can be done about that as other tools with a lot of features have a similar problem - they make me feel overwhelmed! This is just a minor quibble. Content studio lets us do that and more. We pre-populate and schedule posts, and have one platform we can use to manage responses. It also allowed us to use analytics to see what was performing best and do more of that. Pros Easy to read and organize content. Ease of connecting social channels and scheduling posts and updates. Cons Switching between planner and other segments of the platform felt laggy, but we solved with an additional monitor. This is a very strong contender in this market place and one we have easily decided to back. We look forward to seeing how this grows and develops. Pros We like the way the software helps you research topics and helps with ideas on what to post. Also helpful is the way the account can be split into separate sub-accounts for managing multiple clients. It has got some great integrations, especially with url shorteners and also has UTM embedded! We love the scheduling features, we think these are ahead of its game. This software is already superb and has got some serious potential. Cons There are still some improvements that can be made, but these are not so much as in "cons" as they are potential updates on a roadmap. We would like the ability to set the times when repeating a post, also to be able to add to the queue and repeat a post at the same time. There have consistently been upgraded and improved since inception when it was pretty great already! Pros Content studio just keeps getting better and better. It evolves with content creation. Most recently it now integrates with canva for image creation. I wish I did social media as my full time job just to use it more. It's such a great workflow, I can save stories on pocket using my iphone, then retrieve them for stories to create and sent to my blog and then send them to all my social channels, with customised retargeting links and automated hashtags, and finding other great people to tag for the story.. Pros Content Studio is a all in one tool for content curation and social media sharing. The number of features is amazing. I love the scheduler, that is very flexible and and powerful. The content curation is amazing. It support my language / country (Brazil - Portuguese), and offers a lot of integrations, making it easy to find content in your own language. The tool also have curated content for many topics and this is cool when I need to create blog posts, that is something that I can do inside the tool, making it a good tool to create blog posts too. Also, the integrations a really useful. Overall, it is a tool that is ages a part from many other social media tools. Cons At the moment, the Analyze feature is not implemented. I believe when it became ready, it will help a lot understand my public and share/generate content that is more engaging for then.
