Okendo does what it promises. It drives review volume and surfaces social proof in the right places on-site. For a DTC brand on Shopify, it's one of the cleaner solutions in the space. The support team and account management are genuinely top tier, responsive, proactive, and easy to work with. Would recommend for teams that want a reliable reviews platform without needing a lot of technical overhead to maintain it.

Pros

Okendo integrates cleanly with Shopify and makes it easy to collect and display UGC at scale. The review widgets are customizable enough to fit our brand without heavy dev lift, and the attributes feature (fit, quality ratings) gives customers a structured way to leave useful feedback. Solid value relative to other review platforms we evaluated.

Cons

The backend UI has a learning curve and some reporting features feel underdeveloped compared to what you'd want for deeper review analytics.

Great product with great support. We started with Reviews in our first year and expanded to add Referrals as well. It is a great user-friendly platform and we are happy with the partnership.

Pros

On-site and backend functionality, easy design modifications, helpful templates for reviews widgets, supportive onboarding and customer success teams.

Cons

In the sales process, we were promised sorting functionality that is not possible. We worked through this with our CSM and are looking for long term solutions.

Pros

Cons

There isn’t much to dislike. If I had to mention something, perhaps a few more built-in customization options could make things even easier, but it hasn’t been a real challenge.

My overall experience with Okendo has been great. The onboarding was smooth, fast, and extremely well-supported. Implementation was quick, and any questions we had were answered right away by their team. Their support has been consistent, responsive, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process much easier than expected.

Pros

What I like most about Okendo is that it actually delivers on what a reviews platform should do. We moved from another tool that was missing several features, and Okendo had everything we needed from day one. You can tell they are always updating and improving the product, which makes it feel like a solid solution for the long term.

Cons

The only thing so far is that the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first because it has so many features. But it has never slowed us down. The onboarding team has been amazing and made everything very easy.

I see opportunity to grow with Okendo and add more of their services as my increased store sessions and revenue grows. There's only so much I can do with the base tier, but the customer service is top tier even with them fully knowing I am using the base plan. If there was a way to use the additional services at a lower cost based on website traffic volume, I would enjoy Okendo even more.

Pros

Gives me an opportunity to integrate verified customer reviews on my website to give new customers an opportunity to see what current customers think of each product. Customer service has been fantastic! They reached out to me about optimizing my usage of the service and their team made the updates for me.

Cons

The base tier plan is limiting to what I can do. I understand that it acts as an intro tier, but the fact that in order to sync reviews with my Klaviyo flows has a significant jump in price makes it not worth it at my company's early stage. The costs for a lot of the services/features is not worth it unless your website is seeing ~10K sessions/month, so as a small business that only gets ~3K sessions/month and ~50 orders per month, the cost for the additional services aren't worth it quite yet.

Pros

I really like how Okendo is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with Shopify. Their support is great and would recommend to any business looking to have ratings and reviews set up quickly.

Cons

I don't like that I'm not able to directly syndicate reviews with other retailers (since Bazaarvoice owns this segment), but hope that we can do this in the near future! Totally not Okendo's fault.

Okendo has been an absolute game-changer for our business when it comes to capturing and displaying product reviews! The ease of collecting customer feedback and seamlessly integrating those reviews into our website has exceeded our expectations. One of our favorite features is the ability to incorporate user-generated content (UGC) through the Okendo Media Grid, allowing us to showcase alternate product images from our customers. This adds so much authenticity and visual appeal to our product pages, giving potential buyers confidence in their purchase. We’ve also recently expanded our use of the Okendo suite, trying out both Surveys and Referrals. The Surveys tool is fantastic for capturing first-party data directly from our customers—super insightful and easy to set up! However, the Referral program didn’t quite deliver the impact we were hoping for, but it’s still a solid feature worth exploring depending on your needs. Overall, Okendo remains an invaluable asset for driving engagement through customer reviews and UGC. Highly recommended for any e-commerce store looking to elevate their brand and build trust with their audience!

I was really happy with the software and didn't have any complaints with it - we just had evolving needs as a company, that Okendo wasn't equipped to meet. Syndication capability with our retail partners was the key one.

Easy to moderate, manage and respond to reviews, really polished AI responses, and integrated well with our helpdesk software.

Syndication with key retailers was not possible, and the ability to do it manually was more expensive than competitors who could automate the syndication.

Great experience overall! Okendo checks all the boxes that our previous review platform, Trustpilot, couldn't do. I also like the other capabilities Okendo has beyond reviews but we have not dipped into that yet.

Pros

Easy integration with Shopify, it looks really nice on the site, easy to use, prioritizes product review generation and works in favor of the brand - we have more control over our reviews.

Cons

Review request templates don't look the nicest.

Excellent! Customer service was fantastic, there is no comparison between Okendo and Yotpo- it's Okendo all the way.

Pros

Fantastic, easy to use platform. They are constantly improving, the back end is ridiculously easy to navigate, and customers had a high rate of writing reviews; much greater than that on other apps.

Cons

The price. For some of the base models it's just fine but I love utilizing one app for multiple elements and as Okendo expanded I wanted to use them for reviews, etc but the pricing was getting out of hand as we packaged them.
