Very good! The initial training team was very good and knowledgeable. It would be nice if there was a personal follow up(included in the cost) to the office about a month or 2 later; This would allow the customer to see if they are using the software efficiently. Once you go live, there is always a huge learning curve.

Pros

Ease of scheduling patients and communication with the patients, multiple ways to complete tasks, can work from anywhere, the task manager is great, navigating through a patients chart is super easy, and they do a pretty good job with resolving issues.

Cons

Reports do not print in date order, do a better job communicating with updates and how it will affect or help you daily, not having someone in customer service that understands the software, and not having the capability to take and save CBCT imaging.

### "Supportive Onboarding Team That Made Our Transition Smooth"

The overall experience was great. The regularly check in with us, asking how we were feeling about the transition, and genuinely listened to feedback on how to improve the process. Their communication and dedication made a potentially stressful change feel manageable and positive.

Pros

We recently switched from Denticon to CareStack, and the onboarding experience was very positive thanks to the CareStack team especially \[sensitive content hidden\] . They were consistently responsive, patient, and supportive. When they didn’t immediately have an answer, they escalated questions to leadership and provided temporary solutions so our workflow could continue without disruption.

Cons

As with any major software transition, there is a learning curve, and some features take time to fully understand during the early stages. Going from a master from one software to then nothing knowing the in and out right away was a bit challenging

As a day 1 veteran user, CareStack has come a LONG way, for the better! Overall 10/10 recommend CareStack and I don't know why every dental practice would not be using it ESPECIALLY multi-location and or multi specialty practices.

Pros

I love that it is a a full service comprehensive practice management software that has easy set up, and is user-friendly. It helps alleviate administrative burdens of billing, coding and claims. Streamlines efficiency!

Cons

If I had to label one thing, talking to bots - but its easy to get in contact with a human (or reference online articles for help or pointers - or report bugs through CareStack /Chrome extension)

It has been a great experience, my trainer, \[sensitive content hidden\] , did an amazing job at showing me all the features and made it simple to navigate the software.

Pros

I like how carestack is so easy to navigate and the amount of great features the software has. The staff is very kind and very helpful.

Cons

I have not had a bad experience with carestack. There is a lot of features we are able to use that may seem overwhelming but they are easy to access and the staff is willing to answer our questions when needed.

It is great, our transition to Care Stack was steady and we are learning a lot more features that help us with our workflow in our practice.

Pros

I like the Chat Support feature which the reps are active and we get assistance in an instant and I also love that it is user friendly.

Cons

The creating of plan breakdowns and online registrations are a bit longer to fill up. It will also help if they could allow to add all CDT codes under frequency and limitations.

Wonderful! If I ever can't figure anything out I just call there support number. It does not take lng to get an answer or they walk me through how to do what I am asking.

Pros

The implemenation specilist was wonderful. She made it so much easier with all of her knowledge of the software. Always had a quuck response and explained in a way that was easy to learn.

Cons

The billing statement were hard to decipher but there was an update and now I really like the new billing statements!

Pros

What I like most about CareStack is \[sensitive content hidden\]! He was amazing whenever I need help he was always there to Help. I also like how everything is in one system and pretty easy to navigate.

Cons

My least favorite thing about CareStack is attaching documents to claims. I feel there should be an easier way to attaches files.

What I like about CareStack is how easy it is to use and how it keeps everything organized in one place. It makes scheduling, patient communication, billing, and reporting much more efficient, while also improving the overall patient experience.

Cons

The only thing I would like to see improved is printing a schedule on 1 page instead of two. Nothing else!

For me billing on the ledger is a little hard to understand. Besides that I have no other complaints.

From start to finish everyone involved was professional, caring and experienced. I highly recommend ALL dental offices to make the switch to Carestack!

Pros

They seem to have thought of EVERYTHING! Love how everything is linked and it allows you to go from the ledger to an ins pymt to the cahrt and back again AND that it is cloud based!!.

Cons

A few features we expected to have available are not yet completed. Hoping to have them up and running soon

Generally we like the intuitive interface, ease of navigating to what we need, ability to customize settings for each individual and our practice, and support from the Carestack team

Pros

Excellent sales team to provide enough knowledge to make an informed choice and understand all costs. Very thorough transition program to ensure there were almost no issues with moving data from our previous software (Dentrix) Post-implementation support with troubleshooting and reporting Comprehensive software features, allowing us to consolidate several systems: charting, scheduling, and e-filing insurance claims; patient texting and review management; patient forms and practice analytics; e-prescribing (dosespot integration). Generally all-in pricing, rather than being nickled-and-dimed to add in additional features.

Cons

Required a fair amount of my time (dentist/owner) prior to go-live setting up parameters and validating data. It was time well-spent, however, as we have had very few issues since go-live We have been live for 2 weeks, so long-term outcomes remain to be seen

I have really enjoyed carestack. Definitely a learning curve coming from eagle-soft but now I prefer carestack! I love how it is web based.

Pros

I liked how supportive the carestack team was with the transition. Everyone is personable and helpful.

Cons

I did not like how many clicks it took to get to things like the chart/ledger but now that I am comfortable with the system it is super easy!

My experience with CareStack overall has been positive. The onboarding team helped to answer all of our questions and was always available in a timely manner when we needed assistance.

Pros

The onboarding team was amazing, customer service is great, and we love the frequent updates. The updates are always fixing bugs and issues.

Cons

It was a challenging transition from our old software, Eaglesoft. We are happy to be in CareStack but the transition is challenging especially for team members set in their ways.

### "Won't Be Looking Back!"

Overall Carestack has been a big win for us compared to our previous PMS and support with them. The reporting is also easily accessible and easy to export.

Pros

I enjoy it being a cloud based software. From previous experience with this offices past PMS, the speed is great. I also love the ledger when it comes to viewing what procedures have outstanding money owed to it. That is something that I have not seen in any PMS and helps my RCM brain

Cons

I don't like that it is transactional based. I have always lived in a "DOS" world and a net world. That would be the biggest thing I would change in a heart beat. I also do not like how you always have to go to the chart to delete items. In previous PMS I have used it was available to do almost anywhere. Also, I wish you could just change the code instead of having to delete and add a new one.

Great! Love our onboarding team they were super helpful and very patient and game for anything! Michael and Mariangelis are great!

Pros

That it is all cloud based, and treatment plan estimates that are able to be sent through email and text and can be E-signed as well.

Cons

Lots of different updates happen and nothing goes out with warning things are changing. Support can sometimes only handle basic functions any thing more in depth they have to submit a ticket.

The office I work for changed to Carestack several months back. We have enjoyed all the features that carestack offers. It definitely has some good features. As with anything new it has a learning curve but we have really enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend it for your dental software

Pros

The appointment blocks, applying payments, more detailed reports for the doctors, Voicstack, and CS pay.

Cons

The clipboard doesn’t always work right, have to refresh a lot, not enough ways to get into the X-rays.

We have had a great experience so far and the support has been fantastic! We have worked with many different departments of CareStack so far and the quick responses are wonderful.

Pros

Reporting has so much more details than our previous software. We are excited to have a timeclock, lab tracker, text to pay option as well as patient portal to pay for statements.

Cons

Just the learning curve has been a little difficult as with any software conversion is. We were prepared for that.

Pros

CareStack is very user friendly and enables daily operations to run smoothly within the office. The customer support staff (BR) is patient, knowledgeable, and always respond in a timely manner to questions.

Cons

Prior to the recent training, I did not like how long certain processes took within the system. However, that has changed now that I have been shown short-cuts and easier ways to perform tasks.

I’ve used Carestack for a few years. It’s more intuitive, user friendly, and zero of the bloat of a traditional dental practice software.,

Pros

Cloud based, easily accessed from anywhere, everything can be completed within a few clicks, and none of the bloat that can slow a computer down.

Cons

Doesn’t work if there is no internet in the office. Good thing was have reliable internet for the most part. I was able to use my cell phone hot spot to get by until spectrum was able to fix the internet.
