We have had an excellent experience with Care stack I have never experienced such a top-notch training program they do not just sign you up with their software then leave you. You have extensive training.

Pros

We were previously in Eagle Soft we up graded to Care stack it is more customizable for our practice. With Care Stack we have advanced reporting and are Extremely satisfied with Care stack they have exceptional training program

Cons

We are satisfied with Care stack we have no complaints it is very user friendly. It was an easy adjustment for our office to make the transition from Eagle Soft

Pros

Very user friendly. Everything in is one spot no need for multiple sites. The team is very efficient in getting you set up and helpful for your success.

Cons

Due to being a web based system, there are times where it can take a few seconds to load. This is not a common issue but may arise at times.

Pros

Cons

The learning curve moving to a new system is always tough, but they helped guide us through every obstacle we faced.

Overall it was excellent, I have used the software in the past so it was easier the second time around to pick it up.

Pros

They are there from beginning to the end and even after for whatever questions you might have. They are available by phone or email. Great cutomer service!

Cons

I don't like the fact that you can't modify treatment codes or fees from the ledger. I guess it is a fail safe to make sure it is correct but would be easier.

From the start to the day-to-day process, it has been such a great experience Coming from Dentrix Ascend to CareStack, including all the customer service!

Pros

Customization!!! It has endless possibilities!! Ease of use. They actually listen when you need something changed.

Cons

Undoing something. It is difficult to undo or change something. Most changes to incorrect codes need to be deleted and reentered instead of being able to alter them. Most changes have to be made in the chart tab.

I have been in the dental field for 20 years, and using Carestack has been one of the best dental software's I have used. You have everything in one place from an amazing referral portal to submitting an auth and all the reports you can run in one software is amazing. My favorite is the task manager tab it is so helpful for my day to day lists and eliminates 100 sticky notes!

Pros

The all in one use for pediatric dentistry at your fingertips, from the insurance authorization feature to the referral portal it is amazing!

Cons

There is not a thing I do not like about Carestack, I am learning something new everyday!

Pros

CareStack is very user-friendly and organized. I like how easy it is to navigate between patients, appointments, and reports. The system helps streamline daily tasks and keeps everything in one place.

Cons

The main challenge is that patient addresses don’t carry over with their records, which requires us to manually re-enter them — this can be time-consuming and leaves room for error.

Pros

Many of the features are user friendly and tabs are clearly marked. Scheduling patients are quick and easy

Cons

Some people may like that you can have many avenues to get to a particular feature, but sometimes it's confusing on the best course to take

We are happy and their customer support is GREAT!!

Pros

Our office switched to CareStack in Dec 2023. So far we are very pleased and its pretty intuitive. I have used many PMS in my 30+ years and this system has it all!

Cons

When we switched over to CareStack our old software did not merge over. Not Carestack's fault. We were using a no name brand system :(

Cons

Getting used to ledger system takes a bit of time if you are not already familiar with it. But they frequently request feedback and make changes in the product.

The CSM team after implementation, including our lead manager Abhishek, has made up for all for any roadblocks we may have had during the initial transition period from our old practice management software. The lead you through how to properly access your workflows and reporting to make sure you're taking advantage of all the new features of Carestack, which continue to expand. I've been impressed with the level of detail and care that the Customer Success team has shown to us on all of our calls and email correspondence.

Pros

This is clearly a software made by a software company, not a dental supply company. They have the resources and team members to make updates and changes that are relevant, and you can even request changes with their development team.

Cons

The switch from our previous management software was very time consuming for a private practice. Their sales team failed to mention that we have to convert over all the files for patient forms, note templates, etc. which we are still completing months later. Other online form providers have done this for us within implementation. This is a really big problem for trying to use all the features of CS, but not having it personalized with your documents unless you devote a lot of time. Note: we are an office with a multitude of very in depth forms, if you only have one set of forms for your patients, for example, this may not be as big of an issue.

Pros

I like the support that they provide. Live chat is always very helpful and they get back to you as soon as they can.

Cons

Insurance is a bit of a struggle. It isn't as user friendly as the rest of the software. That seems to be our biggest struggle

As a new practice owner, the Carestack software was initially a bit overwhelming, and the onboarding process had some bumps. However, once I started working with the CSM team, they made everything much simpler and easier to understand. I especially appreciate the text-to-pay feature, which helps keep our office cash-free for added safety.

Cons

The onboarding process was a bit unstructured at times, and some conversations were occasionally challenging to follow, but once I connected with the right support team, everything became much clearer and more streamlined.

Pros

Great customer service. They really listen to your individual companies needs and makes it work for you. If they don't have it, they make it. Seriously amazing reporting capabilities.

Cons

nothing. I don't really have any complaints. They have addressed all matters immediately and having our own personal consultant to help us has made all the difference.

The transition was a little rough at the beginning but expected since we transferred over a 20+ year old practice. Definitely a huge learning curve but now that we are in the groove we couldn't be happier.

As will all new software, I found there to be a learning curve. However, with the assistance of the training team and the support team it has gone very smoothly.

Pros

I love all of the different report options. The information available on the reports is fantastic. I also love the availability of your support, the ease of which contacting support and receiving answers to our questions is outstanding.

Cons

The only negative I have found is the inability to print from the TimeSheet screen.
