Cons Up until recently, making mobile deposits involved several steps after logging in, which was a bit cumbersome since that is our primary reason for using it. Pros The Chase app is convenient and allows users to keep track of charges, balances, make payments, credit score and more all from their tablet or smart phone. Since we adhere to a strict budget it is important to be able to access charges and balances quickly and easily leaving more time for other tasks. Cons There was definitely a learning curb when I started with the app. Chase offers a lot of options with in the app and learning where everything was located and what was available took some time. You will also need to have internet access for the app to work so if you are in an area without service you will not be able to check your financial information. You can quickly view multiple accounts right on the main screen when you sign in, and view details of your accounts by tapping on the account of choice. It has been an invaluable tool, and I recommend it to anyone who banks with Chase. Pros The interface: it’s simple, sleek, and clear. A clean, easy-to-use interface is essential for functionality and the Chase app excels in this area. Cons I occasionally experience difficulty with sending money via Zelle. I’m not sure if this is app specific or not, however, a more consistent experience would really help cement the cohesiveness of the app, since it serves a function similar to Venmo. Whenever I receive a check, I use the mobile deposit feature and the funds are within my account in 1-2 business days. Pros This mobile application is great. It is offered on both Apple and Android stores for mobile downloads. I find this app very easy to use and it has just about every feature you need. The app has a mobile check deposit feature where users can take a picture of their check and have it deposited in no time! Users can also feel safe as the privacy features allow Face ID and fingerprint scanning to log on their accounts. Cons The features of the app itself are spot on, but the problem I have had is customer service. The app has multiple phone numbers for support options but it seems like each one I have called just ends up putting me on hold for an hour. There is too much automation and not enough real-life people to talk to in my opinion. It's also a bonus that I can easily cash in my credit card rewards on the app. Cons The snapshots do not always categorize my purchases correctly - for example, many purchases go into "health" that do not really fit there. Also, I had a terrible time trying to set up Zelle using my phone - to the extent that I tend to use PayPal or other cash transfer apps instead of Zelle through the Chase app because of the annoying hoops I've had to jump through. Their customer care is terrific and their incentives at the time of opening my account were great. I’m very pleased with the overall usability and experience I’ve had with this application. Pros What I like most about the chase app is that it was very easy to connect my account with and was organized and user friendly. These kind of apps need great UX features for people that aren’t necessarily familiar with online banking so that they can keep costumers using their app. Since I’m tech friendly, I look for this kids of features when downloading an app, so I definitely think the usability experience standard was exceedingly met with this app since with all the other online banking apps it had to be just as friendly otherwise people might bank else where. Cons What I liked least about this app is having to re-sign in app the time after a few minutes of not using it. I get that it’s a safety feature, but I mean, it’s my phone and I don’t really care if I’m still logged in. It’s my responsibility that no one else uses my phone and even if they did, it’s password protected already so I just felt like I had to keep entering password after password.
