The team are on hand into the evening for queries and are always willing to help and trouble shoot issues. Pros We operate a New Zealand based hire company specialising in providing fully managed water services, water tank and pump hire as well as remote water level monitoring to the civil / Construction and Event spaces. I had been using an Excel spread sheet to manage the hires and manually entered or updated new contracts into Xero on a monthly basis. As the business grew it was clear this system was complicated and time consuming. My business partner and IT legend did his research and engaged with \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team from Viberent. We moved to Viberent nearly 18 months ago and what a Game Changer for the business. Contracts are entered during the month and then come end of month all contracts are posted to Xero and then onto the customer. Less than a 5 minute task each month. An excellent addition for Aquaman our Admin team. Its great having a the support team available for an extra few hours with the NZ Aus time zone for calls and emails are promptly answered. Cons It took and bit to learn the new system and load all our existing contracts into Viberent but once this was done it was plain sailing. The software is quite intuitive to use and the transaction calendar is a great way to have an overview of what is coming up each month. Pros We have been using Viberent for our business for 7 years. The customer support is timely and incredibly reliable; a very important factor when doing business. The integration with Xero is excellent. Cons I’m hoping the software can find a way to copy old rentals into new quotes as this flexibility would help us greatly. Overall, my experience has been positive. Pros I have been working with the VibeRent computer system for the past two years, and overall, I have found it to be a useful and practical system for managing day-to-day rental operations. Over this time, I have become familiar with the different features of VibeRent and have found that it helps keep rental information organised and makes many of our daily tasks more efficient. The system is particularly helpful for managing bookings, customer information, equipment, invoices and rental records in one place. One of the things I appreciate most is that the system is relatively easy to learn and use once you become familiar with it. It has helped reduce some manual paperwork and makes it easier to access information when dealing with customers and managing rentals. The Viberent team are very helpful and always willing to respond to questions and action solutions - even when we make mistakes that need back end fixes. Pros Viberent has been a great system for getting us organised. While the set-up phase is quite time consuming (configuration of system, allocating codes to stock items and entering into Viberent etc), once we had completed these things became much easier. We have set up our Viberent system to mimic our existing workflows and now work solely within the Viberent platform. This includes quoting, invoicing, setting up rentals and posting to MYOB, with standard email templates for every customer step. We now know where our stock is at any given time and have data at our fingertips that assists us with our forward planning. Cons Even when using a previously set up standard quote template, developing quotes can be quite time consuming because we generally have the need to delete or add some line items - the editing and saving required to do this is often slow. We are thinking of other ways to minimise this though and will do this in consultation with the Viberent support crew who are always very helpful. Which coming off excel spreadsheets after 30 years was quite daunting however they made the process effortless and at a very reasonable cost Pros The simplicity & user-friendly nature to navigate around the system & the integration with accounting software for invoicing Cons With the way we have done quoting through an excel spreadsheet we were unable to replicate simply. However, I can see the massive benefit of quoting for a system that has multiple machines and fixed pricing. A key factor in our decision was the integration with MYOB (which is seamless and works well but is not perfect). We send invoices directly out of Viberent as they are comprehensive and list all details the customer may wish to see. The invoices that are posted to MYOB are a little different in regards contents, but are useful enough to be relied upon from a purely accounting basis. Whilst Viberent is very different to the previous hire software package we were using, the team at Viberent provided my team a comprehensive training package conducted over Zoom and the implementation of the system was a smooth overall process. Pros Excellent customer service from trial through to implementation, fast resolution of issues, and always someone to answer the phone for customer support. Cons The system can run a little slow at times, but product development is ongoing and little things are always improving. In saying that, we really have had no issues with the system at all to worry about. Pros I have full confidence in our booking system to manage stock levels and bookings over the busy summer period. We are never over booked and updating stock levels, pricing and new items as an absolute breeze. Cons My only suggestion is to make each line item moveable on the booking so that you can group similar products (table and tablecloth) together.
