The platform offers seamless integration with Xero, simplified and intuitive inventory management, effortless conversion of quotes into rentals, and clear oversight of project timelines. As a property stylist, it delivers everything I was looking for in an inventory system—and more. Viberent has genuinely transformed the way we operate. Our workflows are more efficient, our visibility across projects has improved significantly, and I can confidently say I can’t imagine our business functioning without it. I’d also like to acknowledge Siva for his exceptional support and dedication. His responsiveness and commitment to ensuring everything runs smoothly for clients is outstanding. As a small business owner myself, I truly appreciate the level of care and effort he puts into supporting his users. Manager, Strategy, Projects and Systems Real Estate Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "A great inventory system that does more than we thought it would" April 24, 2026 5.0 While the Viberent system does feel a bit clunky at times, there is something calming about having such a simple system that is continually improving and easy to use. The Viberent team are very helpful and always willing to respond to questions and action solutions - even when we make mistakes that need back end fixes. Pros Viberent has been a great system for getting us organised. While the set-up phase is quite time consuming (configuration of system, allocating codes to stock items and entering into Viberent etc), once we had completed these things became much easier. We have set up our Viberent system to mimic our existing workflows and now work solely within the Viberent platform. This includes quoting, invoicing, setting up rentals and posting to MYOB, with standard email templates for every customer step. We now know where our stock is at any given time and have data at our fingertips that assists us with our forward planning. Cons Even when using a previously set up standard quote template, developing quotes can be quite time consuming because we generally have the need to delete or add some line items - the editing and saving required to do this is often slow. We are thinking of other ways to minimise this though and will do this in consultation with the Viberent support crew who are always very helpful. June 24, 2024 3.0 Is a great site once resolved. However until vital feature's & actions around modifying or cancellation of rentals are in place we would have to keep using other platforms until we find one similar to Viberent. We would have likely continued beyond the paid trial to a membership had these basic but essential features to edit or modify once a rental were available! Pros Everything about the app was good, lots of support & help. The signature approval for quotes & hire agreement & check in looks perfect Cons Very clunky/not all simple like other POS systems. The main flaw is when clients ask for rental to be modified eg adding items it duplicated the order & invoice on MYOB. However there is no way to remove or edit quantities once reserved which was a main necessity in events & was quite shocked this feature wasnt there. Also cancellation of booking due to clients request. There is no function to cancel the order once it has been moved to "rental". The platform only allows you to delete or cancel a quote!. This is a very important feature missing. Unfortunately when asking support to how this can be resolved all correspondence ceased. Glad i found this flaw in the system during trial. Reason for choosing Viberent Cause if offered all the options but downfall was how no way to modify or cancel once it has been classed as a rental. Switched from [Booqable](https://www.capterra.com/p/138689/Booqable/) Booqable didnt offer the intergeneration needed that Viberent does. However wish booqables feature eg cancel order & simple way to modify quantities were available in Viberent Review Source Response from Viberent June 27, 2024 Hi Chris, Thanks for the review of Viberent. Your feedback is valuable as it helps improve our system. However, I would like to clarify few points as there are factual errors in your review. 1. Our trials are never "paid" trials as you mention. You did not pay us a single cent for the trial. This is misleading as we don't want other customers to think we charge for the trials. 2. You can definitely edit the quantities when its a rental transaction. We mentioned this several times but probably either you did not understand or we were not clear. 3. You can definitely cancel or delete the order when it is moved to rental. You can refund within Viberent and delete the order. We asked to schedule a time to explain this and other functions but never got a response. 4. Re Ceasing support, you were unavailable on Tuesday but did not contact us on Wed or Thu. We standby our system and ready to support any time. Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Hope the above clarifies. BL Brian L. Pros Valiant undertook a 2 year journey with Viberent to customise their software to suit Valiant. The pros with the software is that it is built for Valiant by Valiant and Viberent. We are now Australia's first cloud based hire company. Currently saving 83,000 sheets of printing per year is a huge achievement for us and something we are very proud of! Cons We are not software developers nor have we undertaken a project of this size previously. It required an enormous amount of work from Valiant internally, this is something we underestimated. We are grateful for being involved though as it helped allow Valiant the ability to work with Viberent to ensure that the software was fit for purpose. Switched from [Baseplan](https://www.capterra.com/p/135124/Baseplan-Enterprise/) Baseplan could not offer Valiant the ability to go to the cloud and become Australia's first paperless Hire company. Pros The scheduling calender really helps to see what you have on the go day by day. In addition viberent connects well with quickbooks our financial software. Cons Initial population of the system was the only bit I didn't like having to deal with but that goes for any software with large amounts of data to upload. A key factor in our decision was the integration with MYOB (which is seamless and works well but is not perfect). We send invoices directly out of Viberent as they are comprehensive and list all details the customer may wish to see. The invoices that are posted to MYOB are a little different in regards contents, but are useful enough to be relied upon from a purely accounting basis. Whilst Viberent is very different to the previous hire software package we were using, the team at Viberent provided my team a comprehensive training package conducted over Zoom and the implementation of the system was a smooth overall process. Pros Excellent customer service from trial through to implementation, fast resolution of issues, and always someone to answer the phone for customer support. In saying that, we really have had no issues with the system at all to worry about. Pros I have full confidence in our booking system to manage stock levels and bookings over the busy summer period. We are never over booked and updating stock levels, pricing and new items as an absolute breeze. Cons My only suggestion is to make each line item moveable on the booking so that you can group similar products (table and tablecloth) together. If you are a small business then this is the system for you. No nasty hidden add ons to get what you need. It's all in one cost effective price. Their communication and ongoing upgrades to cater for the ever changing market of the hire industry is vital and appreciated. Pros We have been with Viberent for over 6 years and have been really happy. Unlike other hire systems where you could wait days for a help or enquiry response, Viberents communications are within minutes. They are always open to feedback with improvements and so accommodating with helping when needed. The customer service is 10+ Cons We have a few issues with deposits and how it feeds through to our accounting system but this is more due to the nature of our business structure than the layout of Viberents system. We find their customer service proactive and they have always been great at listening and actioning our feedback for new features that would benefit our business. Cons Sometimes we have found glitches in the system at specific times however every time we have advised them they have been prompt in looking into it and advising or fixing the issues and not regularly enough to cause any major issue. In terms of system being slow sometimes, for rentals with large number of items (eg more 50 lines) for rental periods spanning 6 weeks or so, the system needs to check availability for each item for each day of the 6 week or so period. May 31, 2022 1.0 No the best - Rude and the software is incredibly glichy and it is not our internet as mentioned before!
