Overall, my experience with Visual Planning was positive. It is a useful scheduling and resource management platform that improves visibility and organization, although some features could be easier to use.

Pros

Cons

The platform can take some time to learn, especially when setting up more complex schedules. The interface could also be more intuitive and modern in some areas.

Although there is a learning curve, its features and flexibility make it a valuable solution for project and resource management.

Pros

Visual Planning is a useful tool for organizing projects and managing schedules. I like its visual layout, which makes it easy to see tasks, deadlines, and team availability at a glance. It also offers flexible planning options and helps improve collaboration by keeping everyone updated in real time.

Cons

One downside of Visual Planning is that it can feel a bit complex when using some of its advanced features. The interface may take some time to get used to, especially for new users. I also think the overall design could be more modern and intuitive to make navigation easier.

Hi Guillaume, Thank you for your review and continued partnership over the past two years! We are thrilled to hear that you value Visual Planning's ergonomics, accuracy, and the extensive customization parameters for managing diverse projects. You make a great point that because it is such a powerful platform, it performs best with dedicated administration. We also hear your concerns regarding occasional performance overloads or system freeze-ups. As your workspace grows and processes become more complex, certain configurations or heavy data queries can impact overall speed. We would love to look into optimizing your planner to clear up any of these freeze-ups and ensure the system runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Please reach out to your dedicated account manager or our support team so we can review your architecture and implement performance best practices. Thank you again for your feedback!

Hi Raphael, Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear that Visual Planning is successfully helping you synthesize schedules across different professions and that you value the tool's adaptability. Visual Planning is an incredibly powerful software with significant customization possibilities. Because it is so robust, we understand that implementing and configuring specific features—like print layouts, timeline scaling, and display sorting—can sometimes feel complex for your team. The great news is that these specific views and authorizations can be customized exactly to your liking. We highly advise reaching out to your dedicated account manager. Hi Christophe, We are truly sorry to hear that Visual Planning has not met your expectations and that you are finding the system cumbersome compared to your previous paper methods. You mentioned that the software feels more suited for a fleet of vehicles than for managing people and sick leave. While our platform is certainly strong in operational management, Visual Planning is actually utilized successfully by many companies specifically for complex HR services and personnel tracking. Because the software is highly configurable, it sounds like your current workspace is not optimized for the specific human elements you need to manage. We would like to review your configuration to ensure it is set up properly for your exact daily workflow, so it saves you time rather than adding to it. Please reach out directly to your sales representative so we can connect you with an expert to refine your setup and improve your overall experience. The Visual Planning Team
