Most of the analytics and stats are simple and easy to understand by beginners and helpful in starting an SEO and marketing journey. Pros I am using keyword research for finding the strength of the keywords that I am going to use and competitor analysis for finding the gap between our website and competitor websites. Cons It is easier to use in desktop web versions than mobile devices. And it is also more difficult to find appropriate LSI keywords unless we have great SEO skills. I am pleased with it and have no plans to change. Pros The thing I like most about Ahrefs is the backlink feature where I can check the link profile of my competitors and copycat their strategies. Cons Unfortunately, Ahrefs is fairly costly, so when starting out and building my marketing agency, it would have been nicer to have more entry-level-friendly pricing. Pros I've found Ahrefs to be tremendously convenient and efficient, to run SEO analyses, on your websites, on specific keywords and domains, and also to analyze all competitors. Cons There's nothing really that I don't like about Ahrefs. Maybe they could expand their courses in the "Ahrefs Academy", since last time that I've checked they only had 2 courses: 1) Marketing with Ahrefs 2)Blogging for Business. Having something more advanced like Competitive intelligence, SEO on-page / off-page, and PPC tutorials, would be really an asset. Cons Maybe this is just a pricing rant, but I bought the $99 tier hoping for a lot more feature, only to find out that I have to pay @170 if I want to see positions 21+ of my competitors' keywords. Pros If you have to look for niche keyword and it is not in english, then ahrefs is the place, it has the databank for my country (South East Asia Region) which is awesome. For other keyword service, sometimes you just stuck with google US or the nearest is India. Ahrefs has very large database (look the "our data page") or ask the customer support is your country supported. Also there's keyword, backlink etc monitoring send via email. Other than keyword database, you have organic estimation traffic, which is a hit and miss (for my website, its a miss around 2000 user) but nonetheless it is really really good for competitor analysis. the backlink analysis also really helpful, which for my case goes back around 2014. Cons \- Well, i paid like a year for lite edition which is very expensive for me, and it stuck like only 25 website analysis (site explore) per day (which is a bum for when you're in the zone making report), there's other limitation but it still provide a very good macro view. The keyword similarities website also sometimes suggest a very ridiculous website (my site compete with Google & Linkedin , in keyword similarities ??) - there's no free trial, you have to pay just for the trial Review Source JT Jamuna T. It is handy for link building and link intersection. There are many other useful features as well that makes it a full suite of SEO tools from domain analysis to keyword research. The ability to quickly toggle between platforms to see the search volume is fantastic. I also like how easy it is to export, save, and share the data. Cons Ahrefs estimates for keyword CPC is not accurate for Amazon. The data is taken from Google keyword CPC which is an entirely different cost and can mislead a marketer into creating an ill-informed marketing plan. We liked the functionality of it and its ease of use but were not entirely sure how accurate it was. Pros I liked using Ahrefs to determine web traffic information to help prospect which businesses would be most successful with our companies solution. Ahrefs was really easy to use and quick to pull the data I needed. Cons Ahrefs did not always seem to pull the most accurate analytics. When compared to other similar tools their numbers seems skewed so I am not certain of its accuracy. This is due to the fact that the elements that we weigh in when calculating the estimated organic traffic (keywords, monthly search volume, keyword positions, CTR) are either highly volatile or quite difficult to predict 100%.
