We use ahrefs in our media company, to: - get ideas for new content - steal working content on google or topic from our competence - view what is working and dont in our seo - get links - view how our traffic is working - analise the competence Ahrefs is like a piano, easy to use but hard to mastery. There so many seo tools, but no other give you so much information/power Cons There is no so much cons, but sometimes, the data is outdate. For my the big issue is the pricing. Cons I really don't like that I can't see historic rankings. Any time I want a picture of where my client is at rankings wise, I need to take a pull on that day or else the data is gone. They put a lot of thought into developing this software and they designed to be result oriented. Cons There is nothing that I dislike about the software. It has a bit of a learning curve and, in the beginning, you are paying a minimum amount per month for a software that you do not know how to use. I have checked and used many other tools but now I have found that Ahrefs is the best among them. It shoes the most precise data + you can research your competitors, see their keywords, get free suggestions, see competitors' data, and DA PA. You will find many features in this single tool. Cons It is costly. A bit higher from the range of normal average people. Its small paid plan is certainly not enough and shows fewer data, hides many other useful features as well. Pros It ranks in my top 3 of must-have SEO tools, because it tells you backlink sources and potential keywords to great detail, on any website. It's great for performing competitor research and understanding what works in your niche, or what you have to do to reach your aspired goal. Cons Quite expensive. Although the product delivers immense value, it's hard to justify the immense cost for someone just starting out. Anyone with extra money to splurge, this is a worthy asset for their arsenal that will bring them that extra advantage. Pros If you need a way to drill down into your backlinks, you can get a snapshot of different items using this software. Cons I had a hard time believing the backlink data was accurate. I think it has one of the best backlink databases - shows much more backlinks than other similar SEO tools. What I also like it that you can easily check stats for competitor websites as well.
