Two things to share: (1) BCP already has a species toggle at the bottom of the side menu (dogs / cats / horses / etc.), useful if your breeds span species but not if all three are dogs. (2) For contracts specifically, you can save a separate contract template per breed with that kennel's name and branding baked in — the correct one is then one click away. Full multi-kennel profiles inside a single account (separate kennel names, contact lists, and branding per program) is a real roadmap item, and your review just bumped it up the priority list. Open any litter → click the EMailer tab in the side menu → click "Create Campaign" → choose Birthday Message (recurring) from the campaign type dropdown. Pick the puppy buyers, customize the message (we just added a pre-filled starter message today so you're not staring at a blank box), and from then on the email goes out automatically on each puppy's birthday — no calendar tracking on your end. On the puppy-update issue: there's actually a workflow built in for exactly this. On the litter's Owners tab, each puppy has a Rehomed date field — the moment you fill that in, that puppy is treated as gone-home and is no longer pulled into litter-wide health record updates. So future dewormings, vaccinations, weights, etc. you log at the litter level will only apply to the puppies still with you. If you weren't aware of the Rehomed date, that's on us, not on you — if a tech-savvy 3-year user couldn't find it, we haven't surfaced it well enough. The Embark idea is a great one, and you're not the first to ask. Unfortunately Embark doesn't currently expose a public API that would let us pull a dog's DNA profile in automatically — I've checked. What I can do soon is add a spot on each dog's profile to store the Embark profile URL (one-click access from BCP) plus a place to upload the DNA report PDF so it lives with the dog and your buyers can see it through the Pet Portal. Switch it to "Active Dogs" and your working list stays clean; flip to "Retired" or "Archived" whenever you need the history. Before BCP I was cobbling together lots of different things. This allows me to keep the most important info about my breeding program all in one place. Tech support is top notch. This is a must have tool for breeders. Pros I breed Maremma Sheepdog livestock guardian dogs. I've been using BCP for years to manage my breeding program. I can track heat cycles and litters, medical records for puppies, client contacts and puppy contracts and health guarantees. The program is so easy to use and keeps everything organized and in one place with no need for paper records. Having clients sign contracts digitally and access their puppies' medical records is fantastic. If I need to look up a puppy or client from 10 years ago it's quick and easy to do. Customer support is really great. I rarely encounter problems but if I do they are on it so fast. The software is very reasonably priced and is one tool I would not do without. I also use their goat software for my dairy goat business. Cons I wish I could add my own graphics, photos, colors and branding for emails (which I don't use because they look cheesy), contracts and medical records, so it would look nicer and on brand. On a phone the table can scroll sideways and that button hides off the edge — try landscape, or open it on a laptop, then save or print. Shot records — also printable, and notes you've added to puppies show up on the printed shot record automatically, so you may already have what you need on the litter-notes side. Pet Portal — if you enable it for your buyers, they get web access to their puppy's shot records too, so you don't have to send PDFs at all. The most common cause is what I think happened here: an account got created under a second email, and your original account (with all your contracts) is still sitting there exactly as you left it.
