There have been a few glitches as they were updating the program and in reaching out to IT, they got back to me quickly and worked through it to solve the issue. Pros The online forms and dog tracking tabs. Most of my clients live a minimum 3 hours from me so having the option to sign contract and submit puppy questionnaires are extremely handy. Cons His review is misleading saying you will get a gift card and you spend 20 mins filling this out and the last page says there is no gift card. Not cool. Accounting. It has a long ways to go. I have worked with other accounting software products and the invoicing forms, ability to edit needs work. I have edited an invoice but it doesn’t transfer to the customers account so you have to delete and start over. I mainly used it that first year just for contracts and then I slowly started uploading all my dogs to it. It took quite a while but once it was done, it was very easy and very easy to manage. Pros Breeders cloud pro is very user-friendly. There are plenty of YouTube videos to watch if you have any questions. The app has been getting updated more frequently. It’s very user-friendly for the customer and the breeder to sign automatic contracts that are legal documents with times stamps. Cons I don’t like on the invoice it have the sales tax but it adds it to the total. I wish there was a way for the total to be put in and then say I have sales tax of 6 % it automatically put it in the sales tax line with the total staying the same. (So pretty much the opposite of what it does now). That's a fair request — it's how most invoicing works in Europe and Australia, and it's useful anywhere you quote round-number pricing. They are always trying to improve the system with breeders. I have called for support and they understand because the owner is a breeder as well as a programmer. Pros Breeding more than 10 years and keeping everything on paper was very difficult. Organized my kennel and really the hardest part is not the dogs but keeping my communications with my contacts. My contacts, contracts and invoices are in one place. At a simple glance I know what dogs are expected to come in heat and what shot records are due on my litters. The actual beast part of the system is the pet portal that gives my customers a feeling of trust when dealing with me and a large purchase. Cons Living in the country and not having internet at all times is the only downside. I wish there was a way to scan and auto generate a pedigree. I could not run my breeding program without it. It has truly streamlined the process for me and allows us to do what we love with these amazing dogs. From managing your dogs and puppies, to sending out invoices and contracts signatures, and processing payments. They have it covered. Extremely fast on developing new feature requests. The most important and impressive thing to me with breeder cloud pro is that if you have a question or need help, when you call their technical support team, they answer and answer fast. I have never been on hold longer than a few seconds. The software and system is amazing and worth every penny to me. Cons The pedigree builder could use some better integration with AKC so that you do not have to manually enter every dog into it. Your calls, and the calls from breeders like you, genuinely shape this software. Keep them coming. On AKC pedigree integration: you're right that manual entry is painful. AKC doesn't currently offer a third-party registration API — so there's no way for us (or any breeder software) to pull data from their database directly. What we can do is make manual entry significantly faster — sibling/litter duplication, bulk import, and smarter default-fill from previously entered dogs. That work is on the roadmap. German Spitz both Mittel and Klein size have been in existence for hundreds of years. They are a pedigree dog, unlike your Moodle, schnoodle, or any other ‘oodle’ yet I see those in your breed section. I cannot use something that does not allow for my breed. Pros I liked Nothing at all. It would be much better if it listed a comprehensive breed list. It has many different features that truly allow me to keep this aspect of my business organized and efficient. Pros It's extremely easy to organize all aspects of a breeder business. I run a kennel in my home- but actually do not breed dogs. I simply help a few local breeders market their puppies and find homes for them. This software is very intuitive and helps me conveniently keep track of the 3 different breeders I work with, their breeding dogs, upcoming litters, puppy reservations, and payments. There are other aspects of the software I don't even use- like a contact list for vets and food providers and a medical schedule. It truly does cover. Cons It doesn't really have a "tutorial" to help you figure out all of the features. It took me a while to figure out how to integrate my personal details with my clients (which would be an issue for breeders who work with other breeders). But once we figured out how to sort of "unify" our accounts the software worked very well.
