It has many different features that truly allow me to keep this aspect of my business organized and efficient. Pros It's extremely easy to organize all aspects of a breeder business. I run a kennel in my home- but actually do not breed dogs. I simply help a few local breeders market their puppies and find homes for them. This software is very intuitive and helps me conveniently keep track of the 3 different breeders I work with, their breeding dogs, upcoming litters, puppy reservations, and payments. There are other aspects of the software I don't even use- like a contact list for vets and food providers and a medical schedule. It truly does cover. Cons It doesn't really have a "tutorial" to help you figure out all of the features. It took me a while to figure out how to integrate my personal details with my clients (which would be an issue for breeders who work with other breeders). A few quick clarifications because most of what you're asking for already exists: PDF contracts — they ARE downloadable. Look for the View PDF button on the right side of each contract row. On a phone the table can scroll sideways and that button hides off the edge — try landscape, or open it on a laptop, then save or print. Shot records — also printable, and notes you've added to puppies show up on the printed shot record automatically, so you may already have what you need on the litter-notes side. Pet Portal — if you enable it for your buyers, they get web access to their puppy's shot records too, so you don't have to send PDFs at all. I mainly used it that first year just for contracts and then I slowly started uploading all my dogs to it. It took quite a while but once it was done, it was very easy and very easy to manage. Pros Breeders cloud pro is very user-friendly. There are plenty of YouTube videos to watch if you have any questions. The app has been getting updated more frequently. It’s very user-friendly for the customer and the breeder to sign automatic contracts that are legal documents with times stamps. Cons I don’t like on the invoice it have the sales tax but it adds it to the total. I wish there was a way for the total to be put in and then say I have sales tax of 6 % it automatically put it in the sales tax line with the total staying the same. (So pretty much the opposite of what it does now). Pros The online forms and dog tracking tabs. Most of my clients live a minimum 3 hours from me so having the option to sign contract and submit puppy questionnaires are extremely handy. Cons His review is misleading saying you will get a gift card and you spend 20 mins filling this out and the last page says there is no gift card. Not cool. Accounting. It has a long ways to go. I have worked with other accounting software products and the invoicing forms, ability to edit needs work. On the browser back button bouncing you to the home page when editing a litter — agreed, that's a friction point and on the list to fix. BCP is a single-page app, and the browser history stack sometimes loses the right "previous step" on deep edit screens. We're working on tightening that so back returns you to the litter list instead of the dashboard. So glad the program has made your breeding paperwork easier — the puppy go-home sheet (shots, info, the whole packet) is honestly one of my favorite features too. Pros It’s decently easy to use and affordable. The puppy tracker and contracts are great. Allows for electronic signatures pretty easily. Cons A lot of it is very confusing and not easy to integrate. The financial end shows all of my Years in the graphs, not just one (despite asking for only a certain year) and it doesn’t produce a P&L sheet or allow me to watch receipts- so I have to still use another platform for that for taxes. Three responses to your cons: (1) Year filter showing all years on the graph — that sounds like a bug, and I want to fix it. Email support@breedercloudpro.com with a screenshot and which year you selected, and I'll get it corrected. (2) Receipts — good news: BCP already supports attaching receipt photos directly to each expense entry under Financial. If yours aren't showing, that's also something to flag and I'll help you locate them. (3) P&L sheet — fair point. Income and expense reports exist under Menu → Reports today, but a dedicated, accountant-ready P&L export is a real gap. Adding it to the active roadmap because of your review. " April 24, 2026 5.0 I have even spoken directly on the phone with the owner/creator of Breeder Cloud Pro, and he was extremely personable and helpful! I recommend it to other breeders (I operate Shih Tzus of America and work with over 75 Shih Tzu Breeders across the country). It's a necessary tool for anyone serious about being a professional breeder! Pros I use Breeder Cloud Pro for so many things! I have had it for over a year now, and it just keeps improving! It's very user friendly, even for a beginner. I keep track of my litters, waitlists, contacts, and best of all, it allows me to send applications and e-contracts, which is honestly my favorite feature! Cons I don't think there is anything I dislike about Breeder Cloud Pro. When things get updated and changed, sometimes it's hard to locate things, but other than that, I have no complaints! May 19, 2026 4.0 Very happy and have loved the improvements and add ons over the years! This has made managing litters so much easier. Pros I’ve used this program for several years now. It allows me to track heat cycles, maintain health records, keep litter records, etc. I can send contracts to buyers electronically for signature, print puppy health records to send home with pups, add pictures and everything. There are so many newer features I haven’t even tried yet. I love that they have continued to enhance their product without mandatory price increases as well. I highly recommend BreederCloud Pro! Cons There are a few areas that could link info together easier. It’d be nice if you could enter buyer info in when attaching to a pup instead of having to jump back and forth. I want to make sure we fix the right thing, but I’m not fully clear on the exact workflow you mean. Could you contact support with a bit more detail? For example: where you were in the app (litter page, puppy record, etc.), what you were trying to do, and what felt like too many steps. A screenshot or short screen recording would be perfect. It's also really handy for tracking breedings, heat cycles and health records. Cons It deleted all contracts I'd had made when there was an update. Also, the mobile platform isn't easy to input data. I want to address the contracts directly: we don't actually delete contracts during updates — they're never wiped out. If yours have disappeared from where you expected to find them, they're almost certainly still in your account and I can pull them back up for you. If you'll email support@breedercloudpro.com with your kennel name, I'll personally track them down and restore them, and if there is a bug hiding in there I want to find it. Sorry you didn't get a chance to flag it when it happened.. On the mobile side: fair feedback. Data entry on small screens is a known weak spot we've been chipping away at, and reviews like yours keep it on the front of the list. I am able to keep track of everything that has to do with my dogs and cats. Pros How easy it is for user to use the site. I like how all records are stored on here. Your mileage feedback was on the money, and we've actually just shipped a fix. Inside Financials there's now a dedicated Mileage Log tab. Each trip is logged separately (date, miles, purpose, notes), the IRS deduction is auto-calculated using the correct rate for the year of the trip, and you can export the whole year as a CSV at tax time with rate-per-mile and dollar columns ready for your accountant. Year-to-date totals show at the top of the page so you always know where you stand. Six purpose categories included (vet, supply runs, dog shows, breeding/stud trips, customer pickups, training).
