It has many different features that truly allow me to keep this aspect of my business organized and efficient. Pros It's extremely easy to organize all aspects of a breeder business. I run a kennel in my home- but actually do not breed dogs. I simply help a few local breeders market their puppies and find homes for them. This software is very intuitive and helps me conveniently keep track of the 3 different breeders I work with, their breeding dogs, upcoming litters, puppy reservations, and payments. There are other aspects of the software I don't even use- like a contact list for vets and food providers and a medical schedule. It truly does cover. Cons It doesn't really have a "tutorial" to help you figure out all of the features. It took me a while to figure out how to integrate my personal details with my clients (which would be an issue for breeders who work with other breeders). I mainly used it that first year just for contracts and then I slowly started uploading all my dogs to it. It took quite a while but once it was done, it was very easy and very easy to manage. Pros Breeders cloud pro is very user-friendly. There are plenty of YouTube videos to watch if you have any questions. The app has been getting updated more frequently. It’s very user-friendly for the customer and the breeder to sign automatic contracts that are legal documents with times stamps. Cons I don’t like on the invoice it have the sales tax but it adds it to the total. I wish there was a way for the total to be put in and then say I have sales tax of 6 % it automatically put it in the sales tax line with the total staying the same. (So pretty much the opposite of what it does now). The user interface is simple and easy to use. 2. For the most part it allows the breeder to keep track of most aspects of the business.Would I reccomend to another breeder absolutely! Are there some aspects that need some improvement. Yes! Pros I love having the dates, and medications right at my fingertips. It is incredibly helpful and very easy to use. Cons I would like to include all of my cats wheather they have had a litter or not. You cant do that here. I would love to also be able to delete when Ive made a mistake or if not delete it grey it out so it cant be selected. I also cant indicate if a cat is shared, or has breen sold or is dead. (3) At-a-glance med dates with next due — Reports → Advanced Reports → Cats shows the full medical timeline including next-due dates; sounds like exactly what you're looking for. A few quick clarifications because most of what you're asking for already exists: PDF contracts — they ARE downloadable. Look for the View PDF button on the right side of each contract row. On a phone the table can scroll sideways and that button hides off the edge — try landscape, or open it on a laptop, then save or print. Shot records — also printable, and notes you've added to puppies show up on the printed shot record automatically, so you may already have what you need on the litter-notes side. Pet Portal — if you enable it for your buyers, they get web access to their puppy's shot records too, so you don't have to send PDFs at all. Cons I wish you could track expenses by litter, or dog, and that you could mark dogs as rehomed, or passed away, and they be moved into an archive folder, or something, rather than either having to keep them, or delete them. I also wish that when importing a dog from a litter, it would automatically connect that dog to it's parents, instead of being a "stand alone" dog. On expenses by litter or dog: you can track this today by creating subcategories under your expense categories — for example, one per litter or dog — then assign each expense to that subcategory. They roll up in your expense reports and P&L. On puppy import: we recently updated this so importing a puppy from a litter now carries the sire and dam over automatically instead of creating a stand-alone record. There have been a few glitches as they were updating the program and in reaching out to IT, they got back to me quickly and worked through it to solve the issue. Pros The online forms and dog tracking tabs. Most of my clients live a minimum 3 hours from me so having the option to sign contract and submit puppy questionnaires are extremely handy. I have worked with other accounting software products and the invoicing forms, ability to edit needs work. Pros It records nearly everything I need with a good value for money. I like that I can produce reports for my breeders records with all the information I need if I was audited. Cons The financial recording system. It is really hard to use and makes it difficult at the end of the year to produce reports and file tax. The quarterly tax reports are really difficult too and so for this reason I use BCP less and need to pay for a separate finance recording system. Its also really difficult to use on mobile. I struggle to update things on the go with my mobile phone. I feel like I have to wait until I sit down at the computer and then I get behind on my paperwork. I find the website area hard to use and I pay for a separate website for my program. Now there is nothing lacking, its the complete package. Pros I love that my entire program is contained in one place. All of my adult dogs, along with every litter at my fingertips. Plus, all my clients information. Cons I wish I could schedule emailers in advance. For example, when a puppy litter has a birthday, I want to schedule a day for those birthday emails to go out in advance rather than having to track the date and send it when the day is here. Open any litter → click the EMailer tab in the side menu → click "Create Campaign" → choose Birthday Message (recurring) from the campaign type dropdown. Pick the puppy buyers, customize the message (we just added a pre-filled starter message today so you're not staring at a blank box), and from then on the email goes out automatically on each puppy's birthday — no calendar tracking on your end. Honestly, your review is the third this month from someone wishing for a feature that already exists, which tells me we need to do a better job surfacing what's already in the app. We've started shipping in-app feature banners (like the new Mileage Log one) and that work will keep going. I like having a central place to do everything I need to do with my breeding program.. Being able to put in expenses and income, contracts, invoices, puppy info. Just everything its so nice and I'm glad I found it. Pros I love the puppy portal where I can invite my puppy families to join and they can see important stuff about their puppy. From there you can upload OFA hip/elbow reports, DNA panel results, registration certificates, rabies certs, color/genetics reports — anything as PDF, JPG, DOC, or XLSX. Most of our higher-volume breeders use it as that dog's permanent paper file. The structured "test type → result" view you described (e.g., "OFA Hips: Good", "PRA: Clear" surfaced right on the profile) is a real next step we're scoping.
