Dadurch das man Scripte jederzeit in den Testprozess einbinden kann, können selbst die komplizierteten Prozessabläufe gemeistert werden. Und wenn man mal nicht weiterweiß, dann ist der QF-Test-Support zur Stelle und hat mir bisher immer Lösungen bieten können. Was mir als Freelancer am meisten gefällt an QF-Test, ist die absolute Stabilität des Produkts. Wenn man die eigenen entwickelten Testprozesse erst mal "im Kasten" hat, dann kann man sich immer zu 100% auf QF-Testläufe verlassen. Bei Fehlern im Testlauf ist bisher nie QF-Test die Ursache gewesen. Für mich bedeutet das auch, ich kann dem Kunden gegenüber immer sicher auftreten und die Fehler in den Testdaten und/oder in der zu testenden Software verorten. Das bringt Schnelligkeit und Flexibilität. Pros Insgesamt ist QF-Test im alltäglichen Automatisierungsumfeld eine absout sichere Bank. Fehler der Software kenne ich quasi nicht. Seit rund 10 Jahren arbeite ich als Freelancer in unterschiedlichsten Projektanforderungen mit QF-Test als Hauptwerkzeug für die Automatisierung. Durch die unzähligen Möglichkeiten in QF-Test kann ich jegliche Anforderungen in den Projekten umsetzen. Wenn ich mal keine "einfachen" Lösungen finden kann, hilft der QF-Support immer schnell und zielgerichtet weiter. Morgens anrufen, ein paar Stunden später hat man bereits Lösungsvorschläge im Emailpostfach. So muss Support sein! Ich wünschte alle Anbieter würden ihren Support so gestalten und umsetzen, wie ich das für QF-Test erlebt habe. Baut man die Testprozesse innerhalb von QF-Test modulhaft auf, ist insgesamt die Pflege einzelner Testfälle, der Testdaten etc. schnell und zuverlässig zu machen. Der Zeitgewinn mit QF-Test in Automatisierungsprojekten ist hervorragend. Als Freelancer in diesem Bereich muss man bei der Entwicklung der Testsuiten auch schon immer an die spätere Übergabe an den Kunden denken. Hier gilt: Sind die Testsuiten auch daraufhin entwickelt worden, kann man die Projekte einfach an Firmenkunden übergeben. Für Grundlagenschulungen verweise ich Kunden immer an den Hersteller hinter QF-Test. Die Spezialisierungen der Kundenlösungen kann man dann einfach an diese geschulten Mitarbeiter übergeben. Cons Hier kann ich absolut nichts negatives angeben. QF-Test ist als Gesamtlösung unschlagbar auf dem Markt der Automatisierung. Pros Man kann unkompliziert Tests von Prozessen durchführen, die über Softwarelandschaften mit mehreren Clients arbeiten, die parallel auf verschiedene Anwendungen zugreifen. Schnelle Installation und Integration in eine automatisierte Buildkette. Sehr gute Strukturierbarkeit der Automatisierung in wiederverwendbare Testmodule und Testskripte. Dadurch ist der Wartungsaufwand der Testautomatisierung beherrschbar. Der Support ist im Vergleich zu den großen Herrstellern sehr gut. Man erreicht Mitarbeiter, die die Probleme verstehen (sprachlich und technisch) und zeitnah lösen. Cons Die neue Version der Komponentenerkennung von Web-Applikationen ist zwar deutlich besser als die vorherige Version, aber leider gab es breaking Changes, die zu Wartungsaufwand geführt haben. QF-Test is outstanding. Pros With QF-Test, a large number of stable, very easy to maintain test cases can be implemented very quickly. It almost doesn't matter whether the GUI to be tested is in Java Swing, Web or Windows / QT. So far, I can say the same about the newest feature Webswing. The test cases (> 1400 testcases) developed so far for Java Swing can be used almost completely for Webswing with very little effort. Also the integration with other tools is very easy to handle. I'm excited. Cons Some of the Windows / QT surface components are not always recognized. Das einlernen funktioniert gut im Selbststudium. Der Support ist jederzeit gut erreichbar und hilft dabei jedes Problem zu lösen. Pros Das einlernen in QF-Test ist sehr einfach und wird gut unterstützt durch Videos und Webinare. Die Komponentenerkennung ist hervorragend und kann, mit ein wenig Übung, gut an Besonderheiten angepasst bzw. für Websiten optimiert werden. Cons Das Design des Tools ist am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da die Optik eher veraltet ist. Die Integration in Jira war anfänglich schwierig umzusetzen, aber der Support ist immer gut erreichbar und sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit.
