We have cutdown on our Snowflake ingestion cost by 5x. Our data is synced in a timely manner, and so far the data has been accurate. What more could you ask for in an ELT product? Pros The value for money just can't be beaten. We achieved a 5x cheaper saving by moving to Hevo. It is also easy and simple to setup data flows if you just doing ELT, and not ETL. We managed to setup almost 150 new sources within 3 weeks. Their product support and dev teams are simply unbelievably good. Issues are fixed quickly, and even product enhancements can be made on request, which get done very 1quickly. Within 2 weeks. Cons Sometimes the historical syncs in standard can take a few days to complete, but the new Edge syncs Hevo have added to their product are very fast and make up for the slower Standard syncs. There are some gotcha's you need to watch out for, for example if you restart an object in the pipeline means it restarts the entire tables ingestion again from the beginning, it's like a full historical sync, so just be aware of that. Pros It was very simple and easy to understand and use. The only thing which the platform could improve on is a little bit more transparency in pipeline progress. The user UI is easy to use and step-by-step instructions are included. You don't need a dev to get things moving as long as you're passingly familiar with Facebook and BigQuery and can read directions. Pros I used Hevo to pipeline data from Facebook into Big Query. The service worked as expected and properly transferred my data. It was one of several services I evaluated for our data pipeline needs. Cons I had some integration needs that HEVO did not include, so I had to go with another provider who included those. Otherwise, HEVO was amongst my top choices. Reason for choosing Hevo In the end, I didn't choose HEVO because it didn't have every integration I needed. But for the integrations it did have, it worked very well. Data pipelines can be set in a matter of a few clicks. Our business users are extremely happy with all the data at their disposal for any analysis that they need to do. Hevo's support is very prompt and always available to answer your queries. Cons When we had started using Hevo 2 years ago, there were only a few sources available. However, I see more and more new sources getting added every month. I enjoy the free trial at first because it helped me understand if this is the tool we are looking for (and it was). I also appreciate their support via live chat. Didn't need it often, but when I did they were responsive and answered my questions. When I run into any issues, their customer support team is quick to respond and usually resolves my issue on the spot. If not, they escalate the issue which also gets a quick response.
