### "Powerful System for REMAX and Other Agents When It’s Set Up and Used Correctly"

Overall, my experience with BoldTrail has been very positive, especially from the perspective of helping agents understand how to use technology to grow their business. When agents take the time to optimize their profiles, connect their website tools, configure their CRM automations, and actively use the system, BoldTrail can support everything from lead capture to long term client follow up. I see the biggest success with agents who treat the platform like a business system rather than just a website or CRM. And as a new real estate agent myself in Washington, I’m especially grateful to be able to start my business journey with a system like this. It’s very user friendly and gives me the confidence that I have the tools I need to build my business from day one. The reality is that the tools are already there for most REMAX agents. The key difference is whether they are actually set up and being used strategically.

Pros

BoldTrail is a very powerful platform when agents understand how all the pieces connect. I like that it brings together multiple tools in one ecosystem including agent websites, CRM, listing landing pages, market reports, home valuations, CMA tools, DesignCenter marketing, and automation systems. For REMAX agents specifically, it integrates directly with our existing tech stack and can connect website activity to lead capture and follow up. When optimized properly, it allows agents to generate listing websites automatically, capture buyer and seller leads, and build long term database relationships without needing multiple third party tools. From a marketing and technology training perspective, I also appreciate that it gives agents a strong foundation to build on. Once profiles, SEO visibility, and automation systems are configured correctly, it can become a very effective business engine instead of just another software platform running in the background.

Cons

The biggest challenge is that many agents don’t realize how much setup and optimization is required to unlock the full value of the platform. Out of the box, the system exists and technically works, but if profiles, automation, lead routing, website content, and CRM workflows are not configured correctly, it can feel underwhelming. In reality, the platform is powerful but it requires intentional setup, ongoing training, and periodic maintenance. Another challenge is that many agents underestimate the system because they only use a small percentage of what it can actually do.

### "Don’t trust Bold Trail’s contracts"

I will never chose this CRM or do business with \[sensitive content hidden\] in any capacity in the future. There are too many options to deal with incompetent people when managing your business.

Pros

Bold trail is a basic CRM that acts like any other. The functions of the base system are basic and can certainly take care of any basic CRM needs.

Cons

The customer service and management are a bit of a joke. I agreed to an expansion for leads, signed a contract, and was charged twice what my contract states. I brought it to their attention and they are now trying to say it should have been more, and a discounted amount was in my contract. This is ludicrous and I’m in the process of having my bank review and get my money back. I would caution spending any money with them without an iron clad agreement… even then you might have to fight to have them do what they say they will do. I have proof of everything and will get this sorted, but it’s a pan in the butt and I wanted everyone to know and caution when working with these guys. Specifically \[sensitive content hidden\] and \[sensitive content hidden\] (lead department). Horrible customer service.

### "DON'T BE MISLEAD!"

So far not much to like. I could go on and on but you can read more in the Cons below. I would love to get out of this contract.

Cons

Don't do it - it is Kvcore disguised as BoldTrail and just as cumbersome to operate. Their website is one of the worst and if you want it to be any better you have to pay them even more money. You do not get support. You call in and wait for up to an hour and then they tell you a specialist will call you and this typically happens when you are with a client and not in front of a computer. They do not schedule set times to discuss with a live person your needs and help you. I was told I would have a 'go to' specialist that would be there to help me navigate their system but they also said it was super easy to use. Maybe if you are just out of college and more tech savvy, but someone who is a seasoned agent looking to connect primarily with a large database built over the years this is not the system. I was totally mislead as I have already tried KvCore and Moxiworks and I was told this was so much easier, it is not. DO NOT pay for their Lead 350 program as it bogs down you email and text messages with bogus leads. As you can see I am not a happy camper with BoldTrail.

Funny how KvCore is not on the dropdown to choose from as I have had that as well. I was told this is so much easier. My goal was to use it primarily to keep up with my current clients and send out mass emails and flyers. However, the system is not easy to use and I am super busy and told them I don't have time to learn a difficult system. I was told I would have a go to contact for support, I do not. I sent out an email to what I thought was only to those I had designated as "mass email" which is about 1500 and it went out to the 3500 in my contacts! I am so bummed about the website - it is really awful and embarrassing and I cannot wait to get that changed. I sure which I could buy out of this program so I can move on.

### "Still early but INCREDIBLY disappointed"

It's early on, but the beginning has been incredibly rough, and very concerned about the future with them. They lock you in for a year, but coming from CINC I had high expectations it would be like "CINC on Steroids" But it so far has not been that at all. It's very expensive and for this price it should be amazing... It feels like this was not built with Realtors in mind... Everywhere you turn you'll scratch your head and wonder why... For instance property alerts... it will send over 100 properties at a time if there's that many in their search criteria instead of in batches, or like how I dunno Zillow does it...

Pros

The all in one aspect, the website looks nice, that's really about it... There's really not much else, the Streams app (AI Assistant) is pretty cool I guess.

Cons

From the outside looking in, it looks like a very impressive system with all the bells and whistles... But it can't even seem to do the simple things correctly. We've been using the platform for just about 2 weeks and it's been a dreadful start... The implementation took almost a month (even though everything could've been done in a week or less), once you're in you quickly realize it's extra $$ for specific features. Support and customer service slow to get back to you, I have one customer success person who's been super helpful but we have about 10 issues going on at the moment and feel bad bombarding her with everything. It feels like Boldtrail was built off a template of Go High Level, but it's just "messy"...

9 out of 10 times it is a very poor experience. It think they hired subpar people or just trying to create a one stop shop and ended up with just a big fail.

Pros

Very little, I have been using this since 2021, because my brokerage chose to use it, back when it was called KVCore. I have been begging them to get rid of it. Nothing changed, its still very bad at most things and OK at some things.

Cons

The support is horrendous, they may up answers, a solution that should take 10 minutes is an all day event and it is very unusual for them to solve anything. The only thing support seems to do well at is to point you to explanations of things but if there is a functional issue, the blame you, pretend like its not an issue or just stall for hours. It got to the point of me stopping to ask for a solution, maybe that was the goal in the end. Simple stuff like email setups, campaigns not triggering or IDX not working appropriately.

### "Best CRM for Real Estate Professionals"

It's been fantastic. I have been able to cultivate new client's while at the same time nurturing long time clients that are more likely to refer or come back to me.

Pros

It had a solution for remaining in contact with clients AFTER the sale closed. It also had a separate CRM for the Lender's client's. I own a mortgage company and Real Estate company, this was huge for me.

Cons

The Lender side of the platform is significantly limited. It should be expanded to match some of the features offered on the agent side.

### "I would give them a 0 if possible"

The absolute worst company I have ever worked with in my entire life. I would not recommend this platform to anyone. I work at a brokerage of over 200 agents, we've been with them for 3 years. Tried countless times to re-engage our agents, failure every time. Lack of engagement on their end with issues, they never respond to emails, you get a new customer service rep every 3 months but they never tell you. When I contacted them right before our contract renewal they told me that they refused to let me out of my contract due to the fact I didn't provide 90 day notice.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service, lack of communication, horrible onboarding, hidden fees.

Cons

The fact we paid over 200k in fees and had an ROI of zero. They renew your contract without notifying you and refuse to let you out of it. Lots of hidden fees (ex. Website design quoted 5k and we cannot update our website without using "their techs")

Wish there was a way to add more statuses to organize clients, there may be but i have not used boldtrail to its full capability.

### "It's Good, But Has a Few Bumps"

Over, it's been a great experience, even with a substantial learning curve. I know I'm staying in touch with COI and past/potential clients much better than I could ever do without it.

Pros

The number of options and features are incredible. However, this does lead to a somewhat long learning curve to learn everything BoldTrail can do for you.

Cons

"Forcing" you to make phone calls, when in fact you're talking with a potential client via personal phone or text/email. You have to be careful about Market Reports you set up for a specific neighborhood because on more than one occasion, the market report ends up being for an entirely different city, which I've had clients point out to me. It's also easier to set up a more specific search in the MLS than with the options given in BoldTrail.

Horrible. You keep getting passed from one customer service person to the next and get nowhere. 4 days to get to T2 and actually it might be 5 days... a full work week... before I hear from them.

Pros

The creative aspect is wonderful! they have templates that are fairly easy to make your own.

Cons

They set my profile up wrong and 4 days later and I still can't get it fixed. Not worth my time.

Pros

Ease of use but its very IT centric. People who are not confortable with computers really struggle.

Cons

The Open House app. Poor design. Too IT centric for the average person. Interfaces are incorrect. Unable to set up a range in alerts for maintenance fee and lessehold fee.

Worse experience I have ever had with any companies that I've paid for services! They just want you to pay for their services and did not follow through with their service. They also would not let me out of their contract.

Pros

Their platform was too complex and definitely not user friendly

Cons

Too complex, terrible customer service, turn around time up to a week for a ticket through tech support. No live support just automated chat bot

This product is excellent for lead generation and organization. Unlike other CRMs, it is mobile-friendly and convenient, helping you maintain a professional appearance and stay on top of your real estate leads.

Pros

Easy to use and not intimidating, I like that it sends reminders of the due task.

Cons

The mobile and the desktop version doesnt function the same way.

at first it was great but as time went on the issue got worse and i could not find anyone to help me. You get sent to videos that are supposed to help you solve a problem. Trying to find a phone number is impossible and my emails to support do unanswered

When it actually works it is great. however that is rare

Cons

The Alerts work , but they usually do not have any pictures, Just and icon that says coming soon but that actuallly never happens. Also you can not get a hold of anyone to actually help you.

### "KvCore is a must have tool in your business "

Excellent. I can’t imagine a better CRM platform to help manage and automate my business.

Pros

The dashboard, smart CRM, automated tools such as the marker report and smart campaigns. API automation is also crucial to do it yourself connection to third party lead gen.

Cons

There isn’t anything that I don’t like about kvcore. I do wish they’d make a design on releasing the free version of Core Home to all brokerages

### "KV Core Motivates Me and Connects Me Better with My Book of Business."

I am always telling everyone to give it a try and use it before the competition gets it and knows how to use it for their business before it is too late for them. I am very happy with KV Core and I am always offering help to others in my office and our other locations on setting it up, what tutorials to watch in the learning portal, and to make sure they learn and see how great the behavior automation is.

Pros

CRM- Organized and helps me stay focus on what I need to do daily. It also shows me what my contacts' behaviors are and which ones that need my attention first. Behavior Automation-My inactive contacts that I think are not interested anymore end up still showing active and that they are still searching. Reports and Analytics- Let me know who needs my follow up that day, what item of value that I need to send, and if I get a new contact and they give me a wrong number or non-working email, It saves me time on that contact or brings it to my attention to contact and get the correct info. Core Present- My presentations are better and have me ready to look better than other agents that might be competing me for the same listing. I can also customize my own slides with their library of slides. I can use some of their slides or just certain ones with mine. Landing and Squeeze pages- help me build my business and any prospects from them automatically go into the CRM. Saves me time.

Cons

I wish the articles part of the help support and robot support was a separate blue chat bubble from a team support human helping. I really do not have a lot of cons.

### "Still wondering where the value is for a single agent"

My overall experience has been 2.5 out of a 1-5 rating system. It's been frutstrating and a lot of extra work trying to figure out the system and make it work. The emails going to junk is something I have not experienced before. I also wonder what your other services provide like your listing service. I am afraid to try it because I don't want to spend more money.

Pros

It's easy to put in names. I like the verifications.

Cons

The cost of the system is just the base price but doesn't really offer anything that other systems offer. I thought the system would provide more other than just a CRM.

I switched because I am also an agent with Remax in another state and I have the system in Arizona so I thought using the same system in both states would work for me. I am still with Top Producer and my clients receive my emails and market updates. I am afraid to switch totally at this time. I thought the switch would allow me to use 1 system in 2 states. But that is not the case I was told.
