Cuseum Reviews
"Digital Cards for Alumni Membership"
Overall: When looking into possible ways to NOT print and mail out physical cards, I stumbled upon Cuseum. It was and still is an affordable way to generate cards for a mobile device. It is not an app and does not have such flexibility and function, but also does not have the pricetag of a custom app!
Pros: Digital cards are an affordable way to distribute and manage a mobile membership identity and link to the organization. I like that we can customize the card to our marketing and logo standards, and that we can have different cards for various levels of membership.
Cons: I would like to have more options in the "details" section or "back of the card". Would love to be able to add graphics or logos. Would love to schedule or pre-load updates to the back of the card. Would like to be able to use the dashboard to customize the look, or add another type of card.
"Saving sea turtles, one plastic card at a time!"
Overall: Overall, my experience has been very positive! the prep work and 'onboarding' were pretty painless, and we have had less "pushback" from our older members than I had feared.
Pros: I love moving to digital membership cards for a few reasons: First is to no longer be printing/mailing plastic cards (>3,000/year) that will end up in a landfill or in our Coastal waterways. Second is I am saving TONS of time by not following a multi-step process to run, print, and mail plastic cards 2 - 3 times per week.
Cons: I do wish more things were under my "control", but support has been very good to listen and to make our requests work within their system.
"Big growth and easy to use"
Pros: As a front of house manager, I love the ease of admin use and the quick follow through to our guests. I push of a button all is done.
Cons: It has had some growing pains, but as the group has grown so has the usability
"Cuseum is Wonderful!"
Overall: I have been happy with Cuseum, except with the setbacks that can arise with uploads at times. It has been so much easier than printing and mailing plastic cards to members. Also, much cheaper compared to costs arising with cards and stamps.
Pros: I like the ease of sending out member cards compared to how we were doing it mainly in the past. Plastic cards can be time consuming to print and mail
Cons: There have been some difficulties with uploads not being sent out right away. This has been sporadic.
"digital cards for museum membership"
Overall: Definitely worth it. About 80% of our members immediately downloaded the card which makes checkin a breeze for us and them.
Pros: Liked that we could customize it with our logo and colors as well as differentiate between benefit levels. Love that we can put info "on the back" of the card with open hours, upcoming events, and website links.
Cons: Fetching new info can take a long time. And recently, we have to fetch by category instead of just any account that has new info.
