### "Booking meetings have never been this easy! "

My overall experience with Microsoft Bookings has been positive. It makes scheduling much easier by allowing people to book time based on real availability without back-and-forth emails. The integration with Outlook and Microsoft 365 is a big plus, keeping calendars up to date automatically. While the setup can take a bit of time at first, once it’s configured it runs smoothly and saves a lot of administrative effort.

Pros

It allows for customers and team members to book or schedule a meeting with me easily without a lot of emails back and fourth on availability.

Cons

There are really no cons that I can think of for this product - it provides a easy setup and link system for clients/customers and staff.

I have been able to integrate Microsoft Bookings easily into my daily workflow. It saves me time because I'm not having to go back and forth with each person to figure out "what time works best" for all of us. This makes it easy, and I don't have to pay someone to keep my calendar going. l

Pros

I added Microsoft Bookings as an app on my Microsoft Teams account. I am able to set my available hours for meetings, and it merges with my calendar so no one can book a time to meet when I already have something scheduled. It was free to add on my Teams account, and there was no learning curve. I was able to create different booking links so there is always one that goes out on any email I send so I can be available to my team. When I send an email to people I am trying to recruit, they get a different link that shows up that I titled "first time meeting" so I know in my calendar what kind of call I am going into before the meeting starts. I haven't had any issues, but I know customer support is always there because it makes it clear where to go. And the best thing is, when someone books a time to meet, I get a notification and a reminder sent to my email so I can stay on top of the job.

Cons

It took me a little bit to figure out the different features and how I wanted to implement them into my daily workflow. But you will get that with any kind of product you use. If we aren't trying to make things better, what are we doing? I will learn all the features if that means it saves me time.

It works great for booking but very limited options.

Pros

Booking is great to create reservation pages to book time with other people. Also when you have a service in your organisation it helps book the schedule of a team.

Cons

I find booking a little useless since you have the functionality Find Time in Outlook that really simplify booking time and meeting with other colleague. If booking had more options to book rooms from various levels and various locations I think that would make this product even better.

I didn't choose Booking, I tried it for a while, but the lack of options of the tool was too great to be helpful. I recently started using Koalendar and find it much better.

Great tool when working inside Microsoft’s environment! You need to figure out all settings at first, but once you know how to navigate, almost anything is possible. Great tool for booking calls with colleagues and also externals.

Pros

I don’t work in sales, but I find this tool to be very useful! Colleagues and externals can use it to book meetings with me easily, and it’s connected with my calendar, so they can only book slots when I am available. Another great feature is that you can make special booking links that allow people to book meetings with you and your colleague(s), showing only available slots when all of you are free for a call! I must say that there is a learning curve, but it’s relatively easy to navigate through all settings, and there are a lot of resources to learn about all features. Another awesome feature is that it allows externals (that are not guest users in your Microsoft tenant) to use the link to book a meeting with you. It’s a free tool if you have Microsoft paid account, and it’s worth using it if you (your company) operates in Microsoft’s environment.

Cons

Learning curve exists, and there are a lot of options to check. Not every setting’s purpose is clear at start, but once you learn to navigate it’s pretty easy! I get why there are so many settings, so I don’t mind it much. Just consider you need some time to figure everything out when using for the first time.

Overall it's been a huge asset to our organization that allows customers, vendors & partners to easily "book" time with key personnel just by following a link in the signature of an email.

Pros

I like most the solid seamless integration in our O365 platform. Specifically our calendars & email. It's a great consistent business tool supporting multiple departments & locations.

Cons

As with most organizations, we use Outlook, Exclaimer & MS Bookings. Details vary per user, department & location. Getting the initial config dialed in took a while, fortunately there's plenty of "testing" options before going LIVE & it won't disappoint!

Overall, it's been easy to use and figure out without having to look up videos or tutorials. I love the integration with the other Microsoft produces I use, keeping me organized.

Pros

This is support easy to use and set up for simple meetings. I've played with it for more advanced bookings for tours and groups and I'm excited to get started using it! I love that you can add logos and customize your booking page. I love that it integrates with my outlook ap and calendar.

Cons

I can't figure out how to make certain changes or delete a shared bookings page, even as the administrator. It would be nice for customers to be able to pay through the bookings page.

Pros

If you are using the Microsoft Suite for your business, including your calendars, then this is the easiest software to use to schedule appts with customers.

Cons

It's pretty straightforward to set up, but it was a little confusing assigning roles at first and getting some of the detailed settings completed.

So far, so good. I've set it up for the different types of meetings I offer for my students (indiviaul versus group), and I see that it's perfectly synchronized with my calendar.

Pros

I like that I can save my custom meeting times no matter what type of meeting for. I also quite like that it syncs effortlessly with my Outlook calendar.

Cons

I have not found a way to make a link not expire for a longer period. I would prefer to be able to customize this option.

It's been great so far. Very easy to setup and enable users to setup and manage their own bookings. Other programs have required more admin work.

Pros

Easy to add multiple resources to one calendar. When you send the link to a user it gives them flexibility to select the time and resource that works best for them. If you have a meeting already scheduled it will remove that timeframe as a resource.

Cons

If the person who made the appointment cancels, it will send you an email but it does not automatically remove that time slot from your calendar.

It's pretty easy to set up a calendar. Our MS365 is the online version. It works very well and customers are booking meetings. Microsoft helpdesk is great. They want to phone you if there is ever a problem.

Pros

We have the MS365 suite. We only pay £6/month for two users, with six email addresses. The suite of tools/apps is great—including Microsoft Bookings. It's better than free Calendly and probably on a par or better than paid Calendly. It's so easy to add calender booking links to pretty much anything to enable clients to book with you.

Cons

Nothing to not like. It's a booking calender and does the job well.

This system has saved us countless hours and a great deal of confusion for scheduling parent-teacher conferences for 60+ staff and 1000-or-so families. It is easy for those making bookings, and staff have immediate access to the details of their bookings through their O365 calendars.

Pros

Ease of use, 24/7 availability for clients, minimal staff time required for setup and administration, automatic calendar / Teams meeting creation for staff, reminder emails for everyone involved.

Cons

Initial configuration is time-consuming and not always intuitive, and there is no way to remove the wildcard "Any staff" option from list of staff members clients can choose.

Overall I'm impressed that it's rolled into our Microsoft License and it's saved us thousands on a separate tool. I also like that the virtual appointments app is in Teams so my users aren't going to a completely separate place.

Pros

We use bookings to manage training with clients. So they aren't setting up the appointment themselves, but it allows us to create standard appointment windows and the manager who is assigning the training to staff can see everyone's calendar at one time to assign those trainings. The SMS and email reminders are critical to success and it's great to have them as clients will get pinged about the training an intervals we decide as well as things like an automatic thank you email after the appointment. The ability to extent Bookings functionality by using it with power automate cannot be overstated.

Cons

Eh Microsoft had it more in mind for Doctor's offices and salons and things like that. I wish they'd expand the design for things like a group class with limited spots. We make it work, but it clearly wasn't designed with that in mind.

Pros

Very feature complete. The software provides a lot of abilities to manage calendars across locations and employees.

Cons

1\. The API is in beta, gets changed without warning, lacks major convenience features like requesting availability and overall seems to be built in order to make the usage of scheduling without Microsoft UI as hard as possible 2. We tried to cancel the service but Microsoft locked us out of the account. The support will not take our termination and refers to the authenticator app. Since we do not have that app, we cannot log in. We are paying since over 6 month without receiving any value. Microsoft Support stopped responding to our request to cancel. We consider to ask our bank to block the deduction of subscription fees because of fraudulent behavior.

### "Microsoft Bookings is Essential to My Business"

I have completely gone hands-off with scheduling my time. I just check my calendar every day and my time with customers is already arranged. I just join the meeting at the time required.

Pros

This software has completely removed me from the need to schedule my time with customers. I used to have to reach out to each new customer directly and deal with finding time on my schedule that worked for them. I also had to deal with different time zones which made this task even more difficult. I especially like that it builds in downtime between my calls with clients. This gives me the flexibility to prevent back-to-back meetings without having to manage it myself.

Cons

I do wish the software would allow me to create a single SKU and allow the customer to book 1 hour, 2 hours etc rather than having to create a SKU for each number of hours.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Bookings

G-Suite didn't allow me to use Microsoft software, which I prefer. Bookings was an added benefit that I wasn't aware of but I'm so glad I have it.
