Pros: The feature set is good enough that Google Forms can be used for a variety of useful purposes: surveys, feedback, tests and quizzes, and much more. The platform is also supported by a wealth of plug-ins. Note, not all plug-ins are created equal. Read the ratings carefully. As with all plug-ins, you end up having to give some access of your form and account information to the developer. For some purposes it may not be appropriate to share with a third-party. Google forms supports the most common types of questions: multiple choice, true-false, yes-no, fill in the blank, text boxes, and also the ability to add attachments. It also has a simple analytics function built-in for analysis of your results.

Cons: Google really does not offer a great deal of support for this particular product other than their webpage "how-to" guide although additional support can be found from third parties on YouTube and other places. Web customization of the form is also a bit lacking. You can choose from a handful of the games and attempt to match a color scheme to your web environment, but that's about it. There is no ability to control fonts, display size, orientation, etc.

Overall: I enjoy using the product as a quick and easy to implement data collection tool. The data can be written to a Google Sheet which is also very accessible. The product is free through individual accounts and also available for paid hosted domain accounts. I like that users can fill in multiple forms. Access to forms can be set at multiple levels from a certain individual to the public. You can also preview your form before setting accessibility for anyone.

Pros: Google forms is an online forms creation and application software that has among its best qualities the possibility of carrying out mobile and branching surveys the questions contained in each questionnaire. Google forms is free, which distinguishes itself from most of its competitors because it has a collection of templates and formats for the customization of the surveys to be applied, this software works under

two indispensable requirements, the first is a computer with internet access as computer or Smartphone, and the second is to have a Google account. Besides, the interface in simple and friendly, being able to be used by novice users and experts without no problem and all the changes made in each form are saved

automatically in the cloud, so this increases your efficiency.

Cons: Google forms is an excellent application and the only thing I can catalog as disadvantage is that just to use it is necessary to have a Google account, it is not something from another world but when in an organization corporate accounts are used that do not belong to this company, it is difficult for respondents to use and answer the questionnaires, especially if you do not have another personal Google account. This is something that should be improved to optimize and simplify your so in environments

corporates, since the advantages they offer are incredible but this defect in the execution causes a lot of discomfort and dissatisfaction

Overall: In my company Google forms is very useful to perform from evaluations of internal factors of the organization to market studies for any of the products that you want to launch to the national market. This software has allowed the queries to make my team work faster and more efficient as it does not

I invest physical resources like paper and they can answer them from any device with internet access, so it offers appropriate mobility and versatility to be used in the business field. I love your graphics because in a little time I can visualize the results of the questionnaire applied in a simplified way to make better decisions quickly and accurately.

Pros: If you want to gather information regarding something, may be contacts, may be attendance for an event or anything you simply have to do a survey. You have to use a form to gather information you want. Google form is a survey administration app powered by Google. No matter what information you need collect, you can do it much easily using google forms. You just have to create your own form and send it to the audience you are interested in. In other words, it is a free online tool which allows you to collect information defiantly.

Using this you can create surveys just in few minutes. They will be attractive and professional.

To start working with Google Forms all we need to have a google account and good internet connection with a device. We can access the forms using smart phone or tablet also.

The most important thing I have seen is, there are various designs so that we can choose the design and colors according to our preference and according to our business need.

Interface is very user-friendly. Anyone can understand and start working with this easily.

We can just drag and drop form elements and organize them accordingly. Also we can preview our survey before sending it to our audience.

After sending, it will store the feedback we get and then we can analyze the result. It is also very important.

Cons: It is a must to have internet connection to make or answer a google form.

Customization is limited.

There may be some security concerns since it is online.

Overall: When I was an Information technology student, I have created many google forms to my university projects. We had to gather user experience about some software and applications to find bugs. Also for final year research also we had to create a google form and collect data from job seekers. Also we have submitted a lot of google forms not only for friends but also for university academic purposes.

Pros: Since our organization uses Google G Suite, Google Forms is a no-brainer for internal communications use. As a small higher educational institution (a theological seminary), we have multiple instances in which we use Google Forms: for example, for organizing community events; getting feedback from faculty, students, and staff; submitting daily announcements and so on. The results are easily shared with all the stakeholders who need to see them, and just about anyone in the organization can create a Google Form in five minutes.

Cons: Perhaps the biggest downside is the inability to customize the look and feel of the form. While you can embed the form in a webpage, most of our staff members don't know how to do that (nor do they have the access to do so, even if they did!). This means that in the vast majority of cases, the forms don't look branded to our organization. That's why I specified that it's great for quick and easy internal communications uses. We would not use this for external communications, nor would we use it for high-level institutional communications, because those need to look more professional. For when we do use it, however, it works great.

Overall: Google Forms is a quick and easy way to collect and share information internally. It's user-friendly and even those in our organization who aren't particularly tech-savvy can figure it out quickly. Its limitations from a branding standpoint mean we'd only ever use it for internal purposes, but its upsides outweighs the downsides for our use case.

Start here but don't stay here.

Pros: Google Forms is a light form building software that's just right if you're getting started and don't have anything too serious to do. We are able to use it effectively as part of our organization's G Suite, but honestly find Typeform to be the more comprehensive solution for surveys and user-friendly data collection. To Google's credit, they have improved Forms since it first launched with more robust analytics options and ways to view the data you've collected. And it is a huge plus that it integrates so smoothly into our G Suite. You can easily see the data on the back end automatically saved to your Google Drive. Depending on what you're looking to do, this is a great place to start. But if you need to pursue more complex form building, don't plan to stay here forever.

Cons: There are only a handful of starting templates and customizations to make your form look different from any other Google Form out there. That has been a frustration for us, though it can be overcome by using custom designed images as headers and customizing background colors, etc. If your Form is going wrong, it may be that you didn't design it well, so you should always test the survey before sending it out. Make sure your required questions, answer options, and question types are in order and not conflicting otherwise you'll only create frustrations and headaches for your survey takers. I would say Google Forms doesn't have a ton of cons but that doesn't mean every form you build will be perfect right off the bat. But before you blame the software, check on how you're using it.

Overall: Google Forms can be a great solution depending on how you're looking to use it. We've used it for feedback surveys, event registrations, simple polls and more. The integrations to Google Drive, Sheets, etc. are great and really make it a compelling first stop if you need to get into the survey world.

Pros: Surveys are easy to make: Google saves you time by making the survey easy to make. From dragging and dropping questions to assisting with creating question and answer formats, it is a simple software to use.

Lots of features: Google offers lots of features for creating a beautiful and useful survey. You can change the layout and design, which makes the survey look professional. There are lots of options for types of questions to ask (multiple choice bubbles, multiple choice check boxes (plus an "other" short answer field), long answer fields, short answer fields, etc.).

Survey data is pushed out into a Google Sheets spreadsheet: Like other Google software, the integration into Google Drive is very important to me, and Google Forms is no different. It pushes your data into a Google Sheets spreadsheet with timestamps when you receive answers to questions. I have set this up in the past to combine multiple spreadsheets to combine information from a survey I have created into another spreadsheet. Lots of cool features if you know your way around Google Sheets as well, but this is really only for advanced users.

Notifications: You can set up auto email notifications when you get survey responses. Only do this if you've thought through how many emails you want to receive a day (or have them automatically go into a different folder in your inbox).

Cons: At the time that I used this software the most, there was no way to integrate pictures into the survey itself. BUT, I understand this has changed since then, so this makes this software basically perfect in my books for my uses.

Overall: Benefits include survey creation (which is really easy), answer management, and automatic graphs and charts based on the data I receive.

Pros: One of Google Forms biggest advantages is how easy it is to set up. Any Google user is literally only a few click away from setting up and sending forms that gather contact information, RSVPs, event registrations and more.

Forms can be customized and expanded to take on a variety of functions. A few examples I've witnessed include small businesses setting up order forms, small grantmakers creating grants application systems, volunteer organizations using Forms to better track volunteer interests/availability/etc. and researchers using Forms to gather information.

Because it is part of Google, there is no need for additional sign up/set up, like with Survey Monkey. And, best of all, it's free to everyone!

Cons: If you're gathering a lot of information, the form can begin to get a bit cumbersome. To combat this, you have the option to create different sections or pages so it doesn't appear as one incredibly long form.

In my opinion, it is also not as visually appealing as other survey and forms programs. You do have options, however, to change the color of the form, add graphics, etc.

These minor critiques aside, there are not many cons about the program. Overall, it is functional, flexible, and no cost.

Overall: As mentioned above, I have witnessed many organizations use Google Forms for various reasons. Examples of this include:

- Small non-profit used Google Forms to take and track food orders for a BBQ fundraiser event

- College researchers used Google Forms to survey participants in a research study

- Large non-profit used Google Forms to track convening attendees

- Small non-profit used Google Forms to track volunteer sign-up, interests and availability

- Small grantmaker used Google Forms to create grant application for prospective grantees

Overall, all of the above were happy with their decision to use Google Forms.

Pros: Easy to setup. If you want to give quizzes, now has a quiz mode that can assign points to each question automatically and provide an answer key (for non-essay questions). Can embed into a webpage or email the link directly and allow people to fill out the form from the body of the email. Multiple ways to customize the theme and get the form looking the way you want. With 3rd party add-ons like Autocrat, you can generate very nice documents and email them automatically upon form submission. Embed photos and video right into the form. Create multiple section forms.

Cons: Question types are limited--would like to see a few more choices and the ability to create drag and drop questions with multiple answers. The graphs and charts in the responses aren't always the easiest to work with. They used to have a feature in the Google Sheet attached to each Form that would automatically generate a webpage with graphs and charts, but no longer. We miss that feature.

Overall: Google Forms is revolutionizing the way we collect data in a K12 environment. We are moving as many of our paper forms into Google Forms as possible because of the time savings and ease of use, not to mention printer savings. If you are a Google User, there's not many reasons I can think of to use other companies when it comes to surveying. Google Forms is a nice fit for most jobs.

Pros: Google Forms are easy to create and embed into any website without having to install any third party plugin or write any code. Simply choose your field types and options, copy the embed code, and paste it into any HTML web page or content management system (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, SquareSpace, PageCloud, Blogger or any hosting site's builder. All entries are automatically recorded in a Google Sheets document for easy access and you can easily add columns to track responses/statuses or enter notes on each entry. Collaboration capabilities in Google Sheets (G Suites) also make it easy for teams to work with form data simultaneously.

Cons: The lack of multiple column formats is the only con I can think of. It would be nice to layout form fields in multiple columns on pages designed to be viewed in a landscape orientation, or to avoid a lengthy scroll to fill out a longer form when necessary. Perhaps formats that are more adaptable to various screen sizes would be better, especially if you do not prefer to add pagination to your forms.

Overall: Web forms can be more powerful tools than a simple contact form. As a web developer, I use Google Forms to accept membership registrations, volunteer sign-ups, requests for various services, requests for technical support, and more. Since I also setup G Suits for nearly every website I develop, support for Google Forms is already available and integrated with Google Sheets. Everyone in the organization can access the data submitted through Google Forms and work with that data as necessary to complete their related tasks. And creating and embedding new Google Forms is so easy that everyone soon chooses to use them in their own individual posts to collect information from site viewers.

Pros: Here are the features that I like most:

1) Completely free. No ads, no paid extra features.

2) Automatic survey expiration time and date. You can also manually stop receiving new submissions.

3) You can require authorization or anyone with the survey link can fill out.

4) You can export survey results to Google Sheet with one click. You can also download the results in CSV file, that can be opened using MS Excel.

5) Ideal solution for paper waste reduction.

6) There is online support and discussion forums. Lots of places where you can seek for extra help: stackexchange or Google Groups.

7) All created forms are reusable. If you want to use the same form, than there is no need to create one. Either (i) copy/paste form in your Google Drive or (ii) You can delete all submissions with one click and then use the form again.

8) Your created forms can be viewed on mobile, tablets, desktops. Google will optimize forms depending your using device.

9) I've seen a lot of professional and reputable companies using Google Forms.

Cons: Google forms is already easy to use. But if you want to make more complex forms with different options, then it may require some research and practice. Help topics should provide enough information.

Overall: I switched my in-class quizzes from paper format to Google Forms and never regret it. During the class I just give my students shortened link to the form and students log in using either their laptops or cell phones. After the class I can easily view quiz results by exporting the results to Google Sheets. It makes grading so much easier, especially if you are coming from paper quizzes.

Pros: I own a small business and have 3 kids. Carpools and school events keep me busy enough. Then add on all the requirements of running a business. Feedback is essential to be a good dad and business owner. Google Forms is a parent and business owner's best friend.

This week alone I have soccer, basketball, volleyball, choir and carpool responsibilities with the kids. With Google Forms I was able to solicit feedback from soccer parents as we collect money for a team gift. I used Forms to figure out how many rooms we would need for my son's away basketball tournament. I used Forms to collect money for robes for my daughter's choir. It's super easy to get feedback with forms. It's great for surveys but it's even better for organizing and collecting feedback on essential logistical items.

I get most of my feedback from my business using forms as well. Every invoice I hand out or email I send has a link to a survey about my product. I have learned more about my business from the feedback received than any other vehicle. I get real-time feedback that helps me target my audience better and make tweeks to services. Seriously, it's that easy. Forms is my most valuable helper every day.

Cons: Nothing at all. Forms is all encompassing. I use it for everything!

Overall: Organization and time management are a breeze with Google Forms!

Pros: + I like that the software is completely free and has many of the features other platforms have

+ The ability to change the format/look of the forms, which is useful when doing a poll versus a survey versus an event registration

+ I appreciate the integration with Google Sheets to auto populate responses

+ In the new format, I like the ability to view individual responses as a page

+ Real-time collaboration

Cons: - I'm still learning the new google forms which has been a change after using the old format for so long, but the look is definitely better

- I'd like to see more logic or if, then options for surveys. I often want to add questions such as "If yes, then" but don't want the respondent to see those if they aren't applicable

- A variety of templates to use based on the type of feedback is being collected, it's good enough given the platform is free. But more variety would be great.

Overall: We run a number of programs which require us to obtain feedback from stakeholders, whether it be event sign up, feedback for coming strategic initiatives, basic surveys on knowledge and attitudes, etc. This has been a great collection tool and collaborative space for team members to offer or make suggested edits and also view responses in real-time without waiting for a status report.

Pros: I am running a website of my Educational Institute where I have implemented Google Forms for creating weekly quizzes and site surveys for students and visitors. I must say that the interface of creating forms is so easy with almost every feature you require, either it's multiple type question or single selection, almost every selection is available. No codes, no thinking too much, just prepare the forms and integrate with your project.

The best parts of Google forms are it's flexibility, easy customisation and very user friendly interface. In customisation you can easily convert your collected data into graph sheets for analysing purpose and make use of it to increase productivity. I have even built my custom form tool before but after using Google forms has simply decrease the development time with more than expected outcome.

Obviously! It's the best tool so far for Online form creation.

Cons: As of now what requirements I have for my running projects are all getting fulfilled by this tool and I am not facing any kind of issue in it but I must say that developers should provide some options to customise forms look and feel as most of the forms are so simple. Otherwise there is always a plus point if you are a developer and know web designing to customise the forms using your own innovation. Rest every is handled by Google Forms.

Overall: My overall experience is excellent as this tool has become an essential component of my running projects. The collection of data has become so easy and time saving.

Pros: Within the functions that I fulfill as a Community Manager, I must recognize the extraordinary value of Google Forms, since I can permanently conduct surveys on the quality of the content I publish, taking as a starting point the comments, the photographs, the elements of research and even , the colors that I use when editing my advertisements.

These surveys or forms that I make are stored in the cloud immediately, giving me a lot of confidence and security since my information is not going to be deleted, besides, it allows me to make these forms in any place that I want since I can handle everything from my smart phone .

Cons: The company Google has simplified and facilitated a lot of my functions in my work, doing what before was quite complex much easier, according to this idea, I have no negative aspects to highlight Google Forms, since I use it regularly and I am quite satisfied with the contributions that integrate my profession.

Overall: This software is one of the ones that contributes to my profession greater empathy and rapport with the users. Every form that I do I do with the firm intention of learning in the interaction with the public in Social Networks, and Google Forms has dramatically increased my capacity as a Community Manager, since there are no better corrections than those expressed by the reading public through your comments.

Pros: Google Forms is very easy to use! I created several Google Forms and for school when I was doing an extensive research for my college thesis, and I was able to collect all the answers with Google Forms, all I needed was a link to share my research form and I was able to keep track of all the answers. It logs all the submittions on a Google sheet, everything is automated.

Creating a Goofle Form is fairly easy, it gives you multiple options depending on the type of your question (you can select multiple answers, check boxes or write short or long answers). You can even attach photos that shows up as a link on your spreadsheet among the other responses (you can even print the attachments). It really gives you all the questions types you would need for a school paper or work project.

Depending on you settings, you can receive notifications every time someone submits a form. I have been using that function for work, so I am not missing out on any responses.

You can even choose from some designs or create your own, you can customize your form with uploading cover images or logos, which makes the form more professional than the default look. You can also organize you questions into sections and customize the thank you page.

It gives you the option to show a progress bar so whoever is answering the questions know how long it will approximately take them to fill out.

Cons: Design and customization are limited, it would be nice to have more creative, design elements to work with.

Overall: It's a great tool for work and school, very easy to use, you can create a form just in a few minutes and customize it with your brand or company design elements. The answers are summarized in a Google Sheet which makes it very easy to keep track and work with the data.

Pros: I use Google Forms as a survey tool for my customer's to review my business & services. My favorite function of Google Forms is that the responses automatically get exported to the designated Google Sheets workbook of my choice. I also like that Google will email me when a new response has been submitted through my form! The forms are fully customization and you can personalize the image/color theme on each form. I use my business color theme and logo to customize my forms but there are many pre-loaded images & themes to choose from as well.

Cons: My only complaint about Google Forms is that it has recently stopped emailing me every time someone submits a response. I still receive intermittent email alerts just not all the time like it use to. I'll be contacting their help desk soon to figure out what I need to do to fix this.

Overall: I have found that Google Forms is also great for collecting orders, using to gather contact information & email addresses from customers who wish to join my e-newsletter subscription list, sample requests, and for "enrolling" in the birthday club I offer.

Pros: *This tool allows us to easily collect data online, just like we would with paper forms. After we create the form, we can send a link in email for people to fill it out and the data dumps into a spreadsheet.

*Perfect for surveys.

*We get faster responses because people respond to email more than taking the time to fill out a paper form.

*We don't have to do data entry of paper form responses because it gets dumped into a spreadsheet.

*The form builder is super easy to have different types of questions (multiple choice, open ended, ratings, etc)

*We can select a template to make it fancy, or customize it to our own branding needs.

*There are settings that we can use to make the tool more functional, however, the settings have a default so when we were first getting started we were overwhelmed with all these extra settings features. Easy to learn.

*The forms even allows you to have if/then statements, so if someone answers a questions a certain way - depending on how they answer, they could be asked a different set of questions. Super handy!

Cons: *I wouldn't trust google forms for legal form/signatures or confidential info. It doesn't turn responses into a unchangable pdf.

*It doesn't have built in credit card processing.

*Be careful that you turn of the "share others responses" feature if you don't want people to see what others said. I made an error leaving this feature on and people could read what others read. (This is my user error.)

Overall: Google Forms makes it super easy for us to create online surveys and have the data from the responses easily and automatically entered into a spreadsheet for further analyzing. It is super easy to build an online form and email/share with others to fill out.

Pros: Google Forms is a tremendous software application that is highly adaptable. If you need to get some information from your team, use Google Forms. If you need to do a survey, use Google Forms. If you need people to sign-up or RSVP for an event, use Google Forms. It's great and has so many functions for a simple program that costs nothing.

One of my favorite features is that you can use Google Forms to embed your form onto your website. It's just great.

Cons: My only problem with Google Forms is the way you can view your responses. You can either view all the data as a whole or see individual responses. When you see it as a whole, it's either in a pie chart or graph that can sometimes be hard to read... especially on a mobile device. I wish I could customize this part of it a bit more.

Overall: I am using Google Forms in a number of capacities. I use it to get meeting RSVPs from my team... survey them on an upcoming project... get them to sign-up for specific tasks. It does the work of 3-4 different software applications and is free!

Pros: Google forms is amongst the easiest and most simple tools to use, it is very intuitive and requires no masters degree to maximize its benefits. l I love how it is mobile compatible both from the perspective of the primary user directly making use of Google forms ,and the respondent who is answering questions on forms. This mobile approach is likely part of the reason why Google form is widely embraced by all.

In my organization , Google forms is used to get ideas and feedback randomly from employees , and to randomly measure the experiences of our clients and partners ; providing us with little but important information which helps my organization keep improving.

Cons: One problem which most Google forms users face is the possibility for respondents to quizzes ,surveys etc via Google forms to answer a quiz, survey multiple times ; without the Google forms administrator being aware and this in no small part, affects the final statistics of respondent data.

Pros: This program is waaay easier to use than Excel. It is very simple and intuitive and makes me actually like making spreadsheets. I have taken Master-level courses on how to use Excel and just get lost in its formulas and clunky, overbearing process that seems to be anything but user-friendly. This is not the case for Google Sheets with is incredibly easy to use and streamlined. I love that I can colllaborate with employees and clients in docs in realtime (just like all Google suite programs). I use this every day and love it.

Cons: some advanced features are (or course) harder to use but these are very few things like making a spreadsheet that auto-sorts all data all the time. It requires a script (formula basically) but a quick google search usually gives me the correct formula in seconds.

Overall: I love making spreadsheets now thanks to Google Sheets. I use this almost daily and even transfer Excel files into Google sheets just to make my life simpler. A toll that I cannot live without.

Pros: Its easy to use and understand even for first-timer.

It have many options for answers such as "multiple answer", "short answer", "date" and etc, so you can make sure the responses you received can be used for the research purposes.

I like the way they present the data received, it gives a clear picture to the user on the research result.

In short, best form ever!

Cons: personally, I encountered a few areas that I wished Google can enhance the form.

1) I hope that there will be function such as "you can skip this question if you selected NO for the previous question"or the "jumping" function. For example: Q1. select "A" and jump to Q5.

I believed that this can provide more flexibility on the questions asked.

2) There is "date" in part of the types for the answer. Its good but It can be better if Google allows user to select the "year" in a easier way. For instance, "Date of Birth" is one of the questions and I selected "Date" as the type of answer. The survey target was born in year 1960, so they have to keep clicking "<>" to look for their year of born.

To solve this issue, I have selected "short answer" and stated a format such as DD/MM/YY but by doing so, I am worried that my survey target will give a weird answer.

Overall: Used it for survey, RSVP, event registration, pre-order and so far Google Form did not fail me.

Pros: We were able to take our customer information that only existed hand-written on physical paper to a completely digital system using Google Forms. Not only does this allow us to use the information more readily, but it has also cut down on mistakes caused by misreading handwriting. It saves so much time with data entry, freeing us up to focus on the things that really matter.

Because it integrates with so many other platforms we use, it acts as a basecamp for all our information to be stored in an easily readable format that can be shared with exactly the people who need to see it.

The reporting capabilities are great for being a free service. We are able to see trends in our market and make decisions accordingly.

It was easy to learn to use, especially if you're familiar with other Google services.

Cons: I do wish there were more extensive reporting capabilities, specifically being able to break down respondents by their answers.

The interface is a bit different than Sheets and Docs so it can be confusing to find all the features at first.

Pros: Forms is a simple but powerful way of collecting information. Whether you are surveying a group of people, giving a quiz or collecting contact information, Google Forms does it all. It is fluid and works on any device in any browser. You can create forms quickly and deploy just as fast. You can customize your themes and have your data sent to a spreadsheet for further analysis. Forms is a simple but powerful tool.

Cons: Google Forms is simple, which means that you don't get a rich text editor but instead simple text. This can be a drawback for some. It also lacks third party financial support in the event that you would want to collect fees or perform some sort of monetary exchange.

Overall: I use forms daily to give quizzes to my students, collect data from adults, process technology ticket requests and more. I like the simplicity of the user interface and the speed with which I can deploy a form. I believe it to be an excellent tool and resource and value it in my daily workflow.

Pros: The best thing about Google Forms is the ease of use. I can create new forms within minutes without much complication. What is even better that my clients find it very convenient to fill out the forms (most of them do it from their phones) which means that I secure contracts immediately.

Moving from PDF contracts to Google Forms made my business work flow so much easier. It definitely reduced the time to receive a signed contract from 4-5 days to simply a day!

Cons: The only thing that I did not like about this software is that you need a gmail account in order to use google forms. My business email address is not a gmail account which meant I had to create and manage a separate gmail account to send out contracts.

Overall: As a business owner managing so many things at the same time, I found google forms to be very user friendly! I also like the analytics it provides which instantly shows me if I am double booked on any single day and other client preferences.

Pros: I have used this to take surveys, recruit volunteers to manage an event, find out when a large crowd is available for a meeting, and even taking notes for interviews when I'm writing profiles for the alumni of our program. If you're creative, the limitless functionality of Google Forms will carry your creativity to the next level. It helps to know excel as well. Being data oriented is a huge plus as you'll be able to organize the data you need, before even collecting it. Far superior to the other survey tools which aren't as customizable.

Cons: I can't think of a single thing to dislike about google forms. You can do anything you want with it when it comes to data. and it's connected to the Gods of all data mining -- excel/spreadsheets.

Overall: It's been the easiest self-learned tool I've used to date which has given me the biggest bang for my time. Everytime I've set out to use google forms, I've been pleased.

Pros: It has a great user interface and has great options for data validation, required questions, short/long answer text, checkboxes or multiple choice questions. It can even be used for tests, which was very useful for teachers. Also, reviewing applications and understanding proportions of responders is very useful when looking at the response summary - for multiple choice questions looking at a pie chart is great.

Cons: Sometimes assigning different sections based on a certain answer is very difficult and it can get lost beneath all the layers and the form might not work properly because there are so many connections to keep track of. In addition, looking at the spreadsheet for responses can get difficult because responses can get long. Wrapping the text makes for a lot of scrolling, and leaving it as is makes it awful to try to read the long horizontal text when you click on the cell.

Pros: I really love how versatile Google Forms was/is! Even with some minimal time invested in learning the functionality, one can create basic or very detailed forms. Great for surveys, knowledge validation, and more depending on what you need!

Better functionality, in my opinion, than many other options out there that gather feedback or act as an option for validating knowledge. Included as part of the suite and exports as needed to Google Sheets, so everything is in one place. No local files to worry about, update or upload.

Cons: It can be difficult to learn the full set of features and functionality based on the UI. Provided one pays attention, looks at a couple tutorials, and has the patience to learn something new, it's a really great option! More fledgling state as far as UI compared to other options that provide similar functions, but for me still worth it.

Overall: Used this as an option for virtual/online training sign-ups. Simple list of questions to gauge learner comfort/knowledge in certain areas, and then open ended feedback to determine specific areas to focus on. At the end they were able to click the link to finalize registration. Once training concluded, we asked the same questions to determine how effective the sessions were for that group and decide what follow up materials to provide. Was a really great option based on the system we used for virtual training.

Pros: Google forms is such an easy platform to create multiple forms within minutes. It provides you with generic options (short answer question, check mark, multiple choice, time, date) for questions which makes the process of creating forms so much easier. It also lets you select the required fields to make sure your audience fills out the important fields.

I also like the fact that you can create a pre-filled link for clients which lets me fill in most of the information to make the submission process quicker for clients.

Cons: You need a gmail account in order to use Google forms. Hence, this cannot be used directly with a business email unless it is a google domain.

Overall: Overall, google forms has been a very good experience for me and my business. Clients are impressed by the fact that we offer online booking forms - no paper printing and scanning system which would take a few days for turn around.

Pros: It is a tool that in a practical way allows me to develop closed and open questions on topics of interest capable of generating data that are transformed into valuable information about the behavior of users of the service provided and with the information collected to be able to positively influence the provision of a more efficient service.

Cons: Its formats are rigid preventing some parameters from leaving and its informative form of development is complicated, which makes it difficult for the user to adapt to the behavioral and learning questions that are to be developed in order to understand the attitudes of the users of the service. The question type TEST only leaves three options and an open question, should allow more ideas since sometimes three options are not enough to achieve what you want to know about the people surveyed.

Overall: Allows me to know what are the ideas and predict some behaviors in my students that make me more efficient in my teaching activity through a tool capable of generating efficient data on human interaction in the learning process.

Pros: Easy to construct any kind of form. Surveys, quizzes, event invites, feedback forms, payment rosters, or even schedule builders.

Easy to use and customizable templates are available and ready-to-edit.

The form builder has intuitive controls with drag-and-drop elements to build exactly the kind of form you want

Custom backgrounds allow your surveys and forms to easily reflect the purpose of the form

Survey analytics are powerful and capture as much information as you want from each participant.

Google Forms client easily keeps track of all active forms, results, participants, and more.

Forms are easy to share after they've been built

Cons: Some of the templates are very bare-bones and do not help with creating a professional and legal document for certain kinds of forms. Like Background Check authorizations, Medical Releases, Social Media Releases, and the like. That's not what this program is for, but some kind of add-on for helping build those for our business would be magnificent!

Overall: I build a lot of post-event surveys for my volunteers to make sure that events run as smoothly as possible. I take their feedback seriously and in order to promote honesty, I even allow them to submit them anonymously which allows them to share some things they normally wouldn't. Not all forms require contact info to be a part of it.

I can put in multiple choice questions, rating scales, short answer questions, simple yes/no questions, and plenty more. As the surveys are being filled out, I can see individual responses or generate a single report that gives me averages and most answered content which helps for surveys that go out to a LOT of people.

It also helps that responders are not required to have a Google account to respond. Once they click on the link to the form, they are brought directly to my survey, and after clicking "submit," they're done. No extra hassle on their part.

Pros: For the sake of the beginners, simply Google Forms are used to gather any kind of information you want. Suppose you need to gather contact details of a group of people, or the attendance to an event in advance, rather than calling them one by one this is the most efficient way to gather those information. You just need to create a form including the necessary questions and share it to the relevant audience.

The most important thing is you need to spend few minutes to create this survey. It is really easy and efficient.

Even non- technical people can understand and use this since the interfaces are very simple.

There are various designs for the forms so that you can select whatever the design you need to fulfill your business need. You can select the form elements and just drag and drop them to the work area.

After finishing the form design you can preview the form you have crated before send it to the users.

Also it will store the feedback you have received so that you can analyze them.

Cons: I do not see many disadvantages for now but I think sometimes the need of a good internet connection to create and answer the survey may be a disadvantage.

Overall: As a university student I had to create a lot of surveys in my university. For some events, additional lectures and also mainly for some group projects I had to create and fill those forms.

Pros: Forms is an excellent application which allows you to create complex forms in minutes. Being a Google product it is naturally intuitive and easy to use. Coupled with the ability to view the responses as graphs or hook it up to Google sheets to output your data there instead, Google Forms is a powerful data collection tool.

Cons: There's a couple of small problems with Google Forms in my opinion. Firstly, I don't always find the best field type for my application. For example, I'd like to be able to have a field auto fill with the current date instead of having to manually select 'today' all the time. Secondly, adding and navigating through different form sections could be a bit easier. As it stands, I find it slightly confusing.

Overall: Google Forms is my first stop for any low level data collection and provides the tooling necessary to use the data you've collected effectively.

Pros: It's so easy to set up and disseminate a poll! And I love the color schemes.

Cons: There are lots of options it would be nice to have -- for instance, no upper limit to answer options on certain formats, and the ability to edit the tables and graphs for export. Several of my tables and graphs I have to re-do on other platforms because they don't even fit into the space Google Forms gives them.

Also! I use one form for rolling enrollment into different conferences. I like to keep all the applications on Forms, even once the conference is over, for statistical analysis. But I'd also like to remove the conference from the Form itself. It'd be great if I could "snooze" the conference option in the form, so it doesn't show up to new applicants, but it stays as a chosen option on old applications.

Overall: There's nothing else like it! Now let us geek out and customize it a little more please.

Pros: I use Google Forms in my classroom for a number of things. We use it for quizzes, tests, surveys, end of class informal notes, etc. I like that it is easy to use; that there is are math add-ons; and that students are able to use it with ease. Google Forms is a simple way to get away from using the old "pen and paper" type of activity, and instead adds a great opportunity for me to utilize technology in the classroom.

Cons: Occasionally there are little blips in Google Forms when the add-ons I have selected won't work. When that happens, you can get around that, but it does take more time. I also would suggest that a way to change the font be added to Google Forms.

Overall: Overall, Google Forms has saved me a lot of time in the classroom. With over 125 student papers to write, photocopy, and correct; having a way for them to use a computer to not only take a test, but to be able to see the correct answers right away is a lifesaver! Students love that they don't have to wait a day (or more!) to see how they did on an assignment, Google Forms gives them immediate feedback.

Pros: Free to use - there's no better free tool on the market. Easy to setup with good functionality. For larger forms, they have machine learning as well to make creating one simple and easy. Quiz functionality helps a lot. Beautiful design and easy to share with whoever you want (combination of public as well as internal within the company). Easy to track responses with Sheets.

Cons: Although they do look great, it's not customisable in a large extent. No complex form logic (it's free so I would say you get a huge value, but still would be good to have, even as a paid add-on). No good integration with outside apps - webhooks are a mess to setup as well. Company branding option.

Overall: User-friendly, easy to setup and create and easy to share and collect responses. If you use it for internal purposes or in a way that you don't need company branding, almost perfect tool.

Pros: What I like most about Google Forms is how versatile it is and how it can be used for a variety of different reasons. First and foremost, it can be used to create surveys and get other people's opinion on something. I was able to use this for a social media giveaway that my organization did and we were able to identify what people wanted us to giveaway based on their feedback. In addition, Google Forms can also be used internally by any organizations to get a opinion on something from their colleagues.

Cons: What I liked least about this software is that there's a lot of limitations in how the survey can look. There is no creativity involved in this and so every survey always looks plain and boring due to the interface that Google uses for the surveys created on this application. I feel like since it looks so plain and boring, we don't get as many responses as we would've liked to get.

Overall: My overall experience with Google Forms has been great and I think its only shortcoming is that the interface is a little too limited as users can't design how their own surveys would look like. However, it gets the job done and that is the most essential thing.

Pros: Google Forms are a quick and easy way to collect and store info. I love that you can link responses up directly to a Google Drive spreadsheet so results can be accessible by various team members, and you know responses aren't falling through the cracks. Customizable visually, easy link-out or sending. Just a quick-and-dirty option for collecting data.

Cons: I do wish there were better options for adding in some explainer text in between questions, but you can work around that pretty easily. Also, I wish respondents didn't have to set up a google account in order to upload files. I'd love to see some infographics and analytics attached to this (like SurveyMonkey), but you get what you pay for (free!)

Pros: Google Forms is self-explaining, easy to setup, test and use. We used it to manage the ordering of company branded clothing for the emloyees, as well as for a review of the management of apprentices and interns in the companies departments. Every time and again google forms could just flawlessly be used for the process of setting up a reasonably nice looking form, collecting responses and acting upon the collected data. This was just super time saving, easy and straight forward to use and to teach to the people who took over the operation for the future once the basic setup was made and set in motion.

Cons: The forms sheet is linked to a google account. This is nice but it mixes the domains of personal gmail account and company (mail) accounts. Basically you either have to set up a commercial Google account, or create a google account for your company or you will end up having your companies Google forms linked to your personal Gmail account. This is not a catastrophy but in case an employee with this setup leaves the company you loose everything connected to his account. Logically but because Google Forms is super easy to use prone to be overlooked.

Overall: A fantastic tool, I would love to (and will) use it time and again, as long as the setup is clear (hav a dedicated google account) from the start. Also I have no experience regarding the use via API or what happens should you require an actual supportsperson. I hope this will be continued and not killed by adding features until the core functionalities are squashed to death.

Pros: I liked that it's very easy to use, it's editor is at the same time very powerful and simple to learn.

Cons: It has a key restriction when it comes to receiving customer submissions from the form: only Google email addresses are received, and this makes it restricted for other accounts of other companies.

Also managing the forms and submissions could be more clear for the admin user. It happened to me that once I deleted the files of the form unintentionally because it was mixed with other files in my Google Drive space. This could be solved by saving the form in a special folder with a warning not to erase, nevertheless I think it could be clearer for the end user.

Overall: I have had a very good experience, the form works really good and you can setup an entire landing page solution with it for very little money.

Pros: Google has the user in mind from beginning to end. The form is quickly created and then changes are made with simplicity. The responses stand on their own on the forms side and as a Google Spreadsheet if you desire and then you can automate all kinds of reports from that spreadsheet if you desire. The forms look clean but not fancy. So most people don't feel threatened by them but are eager to simply fill them out. And there are simple if this then that approaches for more complicated forms.

Cons: Honestly there could be more video or gif options for style but that is it. : )

Pros: 1. Surveys are easy to prepare and share with others. Short custom URLs can be generated so that they can be sent in mobile text/whats app/telegram messages.

2. Interface is mobile and desktop compatible. So its easy for a user to fill the survey in a mobile browser.

3. Simple analytical tools like bar and pie charts are available to understand the responses from the users. Data can also be exported to google sheets/Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.

4. Lot of survey designs and formats are available by default. Customization is also possible for each question with Multiple choice, drop down menu, short text and long text answer formats. Allows us to add photos in questions as well.

5. Integrated to G Suite. Can opt for email notifications to know the responses of users immediately. Allows collaboration with others while preparing the survey.

Cons: 1. This tool is designed for beginners. So we can't add logics in the survey to ask questions or end the survey instantly depending upon the previous responses of the user. Hence the user needs to answer all questions in the survey by default.

2. It has lesser features compared to other sites like surveymonkey, qualtrics etc.

Overall: Helps in getting faster responses and saves a lot of paper work! Its a free product to use.

Pros: The best thing about this software is that when creating a questionnaire it is possible to personalize it in many ways and you can also add photos, videos and configure different types of answers, for example text development, simple selection, multiple selection of options, etc. It really is wonderful and if you are a user of the Google suite you will practically know how to handle it, it also allows you to collect information in a Google leaflet, so the analysis of the results obtained through the questionnaires will be easier and faster.

Cons: The only thing that has found in this program that should be improved is that it does not have an application as such and to answer the questionnaires for example through a shared link in social networks must be done on the website of Google Forms, I consider that If you could create a function that allows you to answer the questionnaires directly from Facebook without visiting another site, it would be more practical and save users a lot of time.

Overall: This software is wonderful and I have used it in the last months to make virtual (test) evaluations to the students of the courses that the company dictates in which I work, the obtaining of results is very simple and the variety of formats allows me to personalize the tests in such a way that I adjust them to each content and with different styles, the final result is quite dynamic. I think that to obtain better formats there should be some option for expert users to code with HTML, although for me it is more than enough of the current form.

Pros: Google forms is pretty much a survey maker, just without the terrible advertisements on most survey sites. Forms has a clean design, or Google's Material Design, and makes survey creation and distribution a really easy task. Once you create a survey, which by the way is actually amazing. It predicts question types based on the wording, and is pretty much just clicking around until you find what you want. After you're done creating, all you need is an email address [or a username if they're in your contacts] to share it, they get an email, and boom, you're done.

Cons: Not much stands out as bad feature, pretty much since they've refined every feature to the point where you can't see any flaws apart from the strange auto select feature/accident. after finishing a question, it will auto default to the end of the page if you press enter, which i find kind of strange. Overall though, it's pretty nice.

Overall: Google Forms is most likely the best survey maker and taker [haha it rhymes] on the internet right now. Most other ones have a ton of ads for both the maker and the taker, and it is not pleasant for either party. Google's minimalistic design works wonders on your eyes.

Pros: I love the ease of creating a Google Form. It is easy for me to adjust questions if they change overtime and then distribute the forms to my customers either through an email or a click on our website. Reviewing the customers completed form is simple and easy to understand. I love being able to export the answers into an Excel sheet if needed. That has made reviewing a lot of answers at once very simple.

Cons: I wish there were more visual options. I know this is a tiny thing, but I want to be able to make my forms look sleeker. I also have a hard time with the permissions settings sometimes. Knowing how to send it with or without permissions and sometimes this gets messed-up and my customers can't access the form I send them.

Pros: 1. Easy to use - the user interface makes it easy for a new person to navigate

2. The form can be manipulated to suit different information to be collected

3. I used the form to collect data in different recruitment processes

4. It's integration with Google sheets makes it easy to manipulate the information collected

Cons: 1. it has a learning curve especially for first-timers, so I'll urge someone to be patient.

2. The developer needs to figure out a way for the user to add a live photo in the question section of the form.

Overall: I used forms to run a recruitment process before purchasing an Application Tracking System in a start-up. It helped us collect information from interested candidate and it's integration with G-sheet made data analysis seamless. This is a good software to use

Pros: Forms is very easy to use and very intuitive. It had functionality that I would have had to pay for in other software. The interface is easy to use and you can fully customize the design down to the look and feel of your form. The biggest benefit for our use was that a copy of the form would be sent to the user after they completed it. There are also plugins available through Google. All of the form answers live in a spreadsheet in Google Sheets that multiple users can access which is also wonderful.

Cons: Must have an internet connection in order to access. There was some functionality that other software had that would have been a nice to have for us but not necessary. Otherwise, we are very happy with Forms.

Pros: I love that Google forms lets you collect data in several different ways (paragraph response for feedback, checkbox lists, multiple choice answers, etc). I also appreciate how easy it is to compile the data you receive. You can turn it into a pie chart, import it to a Google sheet, or simply click through. This allows Google forms to be useful for basically every form of data collection!

Cons: I wish there was a way where respondents could "claim" an option and then once an option is claimed, it could NOT be chosen by another respondent. For example, I was facilitating a "Decades" themed event (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s), and each team needed to claim which decade they wanted to represent. I really wish I could have used a Google form for people to fill out to choose a decade, but it would not have worked well because I did not want multiple people picking the same decade over and over again. I also did not want to use a Google sheet because everybody has access to change whatever they want on the spreadsheet, and could potentially erase a team name and "steal" their decade choice.
