Pros: Since our organization uses Google G Suite, Google Forms is a no-brainer for internal communications use. As a small higher educational institution (a theological seminary), we have multiple instances in which we use Google Forms: for example, for organizing community events; getting feedback from faculty, students, and staff; submitting daily announcements and so on. The results are easily shared with all the stakeholders who need to see them, and just about anyone in the organization can create a Google Form in five minutes.

Cons: Perhaps the biggest downside is the inability to customize the look and feel of the form. While you can embed the form in a webpage, most of our staff members don't know how to do that (nor do they have the access to do so, even if they did!). This means that in the vast majority of cases, the forms don't look branded to our organization. That's why I specified that it's great for quick and easy internal communications uses. We would not use this for external communications, nor would we use it for high-level institutional communications, because those need to look more professional. For when we do use it, however, it works great.

Overall: Google Forms is a quick and easy way to collect and share information internally. It's user-friendly and even those in our organization who aren't particularly tech-savvy can figure it out quickly. Its limitations from a branding standpoint mean we'd only ever use it for internal purposes, but its upsides outweighs the downsides for our use case.

Pros: Surveys are easy to make: Google saves you time by making the survey easy to make. From dragging and dropping questions to assisting with creating question and answer formats, it is a simple software to use.

Lots of features: Google offers lots of features for creating a beautiful and useful survey. You can change the layout and design, which makes the survey look professional. There are lots of options for types of questions to ask (multiple choice bubbles, multiple choice check boxes (plus an "other" short answer field), long answer fields, short answer fields, etc.).

Survey data is pushed out into a Google Sheets spreadsheet: Like other Google software, the integration into Google Drive is very important to me, and Google Forms is no different. It pushes your data into a Google Sheets spreadsheet with timestamps when you receive answers to questions. I have set this up in the past to combine multiple spreadsheets to combine information from a survey I have created into another spreadsheet. Lots of cool features if you know your way around Google Sheets as well, but this is really only for advanced users.

Notifications: You can set up auto email notifications when you get survey responses. Only do this if you've thought through how many emails you want to receive a day (or have them automatically go into a different folder in your inbox).

Cons: At the time that I used this software the most, there was no way to integrate pictures into the survey itself. BUT, I understand this has changed since then, so this makes this software basically perfect in my books for my uses.

Overall: Benefits include survey creation (which is really easy), answer management, and automatic graphs and charts based on the data I receive.

Pros: Within the functions that I fulfill as a Community Manager, I must recognize the extraordinary value of Google Forms, since I can permanently conduct surveys on the quality of the content I publish, taking as a starting point the comments, the photographs, the elements of research and even , the colors that I use when editing my advertisements.

These surveys or forms that I make are stored in the cloud immediately, giving me a lot of confidence and security since my information is not going to be deleted, besides, it allows me to make these forms in any place that I want since I can handle everything from my smart phone .

Cons: The company Google has simplified and facilitated a lot of my functions in my work, doing what before was quite complex much easier, according to this idea, I have no negative aspects to highlight Google Forms, since I use it regularly and I am quite satisfied with the contributions that integrate my profession.

Overall: This software is one of the ones that contributes to my profession greater empathy and rapport with the users. Every form that I do I do with the firm intention of learning in the interaction with the public in Social Networks, and Google Forms has dramatically increased my capacity as a Community Manager, since there are no better corrections than those expressed by the reading public through your comments.

Pros: *This tool allows us to easily collect data online, just like we would with paper forms. After we create the form, we can send a link in email for people to fill it out and the data dumps into a spreadsheet.

*Perfect for surveys.

*We get faster responses because people respond to email more than taking the time to fill out a paper form.

*We don't have to do data entry of paper form responses because it gets dumped into a spreadsheet.

*The form builder is super easy to have different types of questions (multiple choice, open ended, ratings, etc)

*We can select a template to make it fancy, or customize it to our own branding needs.

*There are settings that we can use to make the tool more functional, however, the settings have a default so when we were first getting started we were overwhelmed with all these extra settings features. Easy to learn.

*The forms even allows you to have if/then statements, so if someone answers a questions a certain way - depending on how they answer, they could be asked a different set of questions. Super handy!

Cons: *I wouldn't trust google forms for legal form/signatures or confidential info. It doesn't turn responses into a unchangable pdf.

*It doesn't have built in credit card processing.

*Be careful that you turn of the "share others responses" feature if you don't want people to see what others said. I made an error leaving this feature on and people could read what others read. (This is my user error.)

Overall: Google Forms makes it super easy for us to create online surveys and have the data from the responses easily and automatically entered into a spreadsheet for further analyzing. It is super easy to build an online form and email/share with others to fill out.

Pros: Google Forms is a tremendous software application that is highly adaptable. If you need to get some information from your team, use Google Forms. If you need to do a survey, use Google Forms. If you need people to sign-up or RSVP for an event, use Google Forms. It's great and has so many functions for a simple program that costs nothing.

One of my favorite features is that you can use Google Forms to embed your form onto your website. It's just great.

Cons: My only problem with Google Forms is the way you can view your responses. You can either view all the data as a whole or see individual responses. When you see it as a whole, it's either in a pie chart or graph that can sometimes be hard to read... especially on a mobile device. I wish I could customize this part of it a bit more.

Overall: I am using Google Forms in a number of capacities. I use it to get meeting RSVPs from my team... survey them on an upcoming project... get them to sign-up for specific tasks. It does the work of 3-4 different software applications and is free!

Pros: Google forms is amongst the easiest and most simple tools to use, it is very intuitive and requires no masters degree to maximize its benefits. l I love how it is mobile compatible both from the perspective of the primary user directly making use of Google forms ,and the respondent who is answering questions on forms. This mobile approach is likely part of the reason why Google form is widely embraced by all.

In my organization , Google forms is used to get ideas and feedback randomly from employees , and to randomly measure the experiences of our clients and partners ; providing us with little but important information which helps my organization keep improving.

Cons: One problem which most Google forms users face is the possibility for respondents to quizzes ,surveys etc via Google forms to answer a quiz, survey multiple times ; without the Google forms administrator being aware and this in no small part, affects the final statistics of respondent data.

Pros: It is a tool that in a practical way allows me to develop closed and open questions on topics of interest capable of generating data that are transformed into valuable information about the behavior of users of the service provided and with the information collected to be able to positively influence the provision of a more efficient service.

Cons: Its formats are rigid preventing some parameters from leaving and its informative form of development is complicated, which makes it difficult for the user to adapt to the behavioral and learning questions that are to be developed in order to understand the attitudes of the users of the service. The question type TEST only leaves three options and an open question, should allow more ideas since sometimes three options are not enough to achieve what you want to know about the people surveyed.

Overall: Allows me to know what are the ideas and predict some behaviors in my students that make me more efficient in my teaching activity through a tool capable of generating efficient data on human interaction in the learning process.

Pros: It's so easy to set up and disseminate a poll! And I love the color schemes.

Cons: There are lots of options it would be nice to have -- for instance, no upper limit to answer options on certain formats, and the ability to edit the tables and graphs for export. Several of my tables and graphs I have to re-do on other platforms because they don't even fit into the space Google Forms gives them.

Also! I use one form for rolling enrollment into different conferences. I like to keep all the applications on Forms, even once the conference is over, for statistical analysis. But I'd also like to remove the conference from the Form itself. It'd be great if I could "snooze" the conference option in the form, so it doesn't show up to new applicants, but it stays as a chosen option on old applications.

Overall: There's nothing else like it! Now let us geek out and customize it a little more please.

Pros: Google forms is a very useful tool to collect all types of information easily. One of its advantages is that it is totally free and can be used through the internet. Its interface is very easy to use, any user can create and respond forms quickly. Another advantage is that the answers obtained are saved automatically and in real time, and the forms are integrated with google spreadsheets, which facilitates the analysis of the data collected. This tool is one of the best alternatives when creating surveys since it allows you to create surveys with unlimited questions and answers at no cost.

Cons: One of the disadvantages of google forms is that the platform can become a bit slow and heavy if the internet connection is not stable. In addition, the design options to customize the forms is really limited.

Overall: Google forms is a really versatile tool since it can be used in different environments. In my case, I use it quite frequently to gather and have knowledge about the opinion and the degree of satisfaction of our clients. My experience has been really rewarding with this software, since based on the results obtained we can implement improvements in our services. Google forms is really useful, practical and efficient.

Pros: 1. Surveys are easy to prepare and share with others. Short custom URLs can be generated so that they can be sent in mobile text/whats app/telegram messages.

2. Interface is mobile and desktop compatible. So its easy for a user to fill the survey in a mobile browser.

3. Simple analytical tools like bar and pie charts are available to understand the responses from the users. Data can also be exported to google sheets/Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.

4. Lot of survey designs and formats are available by default. Customization is also possible for each question with Multiple choice, drop down menu, short text and long text answer formats. Allows us to add photos in questions as well.

5. Integrated to G Suite. Can opt for email notifications to know the responses of users immediately. Allows collaboration with others while preparing the survey.

Cons: 1. This tool is designed for beginners. So we can't add logics in the survey to ask questions or end the survey instantly depending upon the previous responses of the user. Hence the user needs to answer all questions in the survey by default.

2. It has lesser features compared to other sites like surveymonkey, qualtrics etc.

Overall: Helps in getting faster responses and saves a lot of paper work! Its a free product to use.

Pros: Google forms is pretty much a survey maker, just without the terrible advertisements on most survey sites. Forms has a clean design, or Google's Material Design, and makes survey creation and distribution a really easy task. Once you create a survey, which by the way is actually amazing. It predicts question types based on the wording, and is pretty much just clicking around until you find what you want. After you're done creating, all you need is an email address [or a username if they're in your contacts] to share it, they get an email, and boom, you're done.

Cons: Not much stands out as bad feature, pretty much since they've refined every feature to the point where you can't see any flaws apart from the strange auto select feature/accident. after finishing a question, it will auto default to the end of the page if you press enter, which i find kind of strange. Overall though, it's pretty nice.

Overall: Google Forms is most likely the best survey maker and taker [haha it rhymes] on the internet right now. Most other ones have a ton of ads for both the maker and the taker, and it is not pleasant for either party. Google's minimalistic design works wonders on your eyes.

Pros: I love the ease of creating a Google Form. It is easy for me to adjust questions if they change overtime and then distribute the forms to my customers either through an email or a click on our website. Reviewing the customers completed form is simple and easy to understand. I love being able to export the answers into an Excel sheet if needed. That has made reviewing a lot of answers at once very simple.

Cons: I wish there were more visual options. I know this is a tiny thing, but I want to be able to make my forms look sleeker. I also have a hard time with the permissions settings sometimes. Knowing how to send it with or without permissions and sometimes this gets messed-up and my customers can't access the form I send them.

Pros: I recommend this product to those clients who need complete control over a private method to collect data from users online, but don't have the budget to serve it themselves. For individuals and small businesses, the ability to invite your audience to submit answers to you and collect that information in a Google Sheet is invaluable.

Cons: It does exactly what it should do for free, which is amazing, but it also LOOKS like it is doing it for free. It looks like a Google Form. And that's fine for, as I said, individuals and small businesses. It's perfect for in-house groups, too, so an organization of any size can and should use it to collect simple data from its employees on things like where they'd prefer to order lunch. But if you're sending out a customer survey and want to maintain a certain image, there are better solutions out there that allow more visual customization-and really, if you're sending something to customers, it should come from your own server and be integrated into your own website's branding. Still, it isn't fair to judge this product on what it doesn't do, when what it does do, it does very well.

Pros: Google Sheets is a solid tool to effortless collect data through surveys online, having the right amount of tools including if/then statements, an easy builder needing no coding knowledge and has a diverse variery of question types.

The functionality is also expanded with other Google tools, such as being able to read the answers as data or graphics in Google Sheets, being able to upload images or videos in Google Drive to use it, or even import already uploaded videos from YouTube.

As a web service, it is also compatible with most computers and mobile devices for both editing and answering.

Cons: The biggest con with Google Forms is the lack of customizations options, with the new design stripping even more ways to personalize the look of the form. While the simplification in the process is appreciated, every project looks the same but with different colors and gets old fast.

Overall: Google Forms has been a great way not to just for collecting information from clients but also surveys on team projects and even as a contact form. It is in my opinion one of the most solid tools by the company.

Pros: The best thing about Google Forms is the flexibility and the unlimited options it creates! I have used Google Forms for classroom surveys and for exams. It allows me to view student responses with ease, and it allows me to share different quizzes and texts and surveys without any problem or issues from students. Forms make things in my classroom move more efficiently and effectively. I was also able to use Google Forms to create an audition form for auditions for our musical. This way, audition forms could be completed well before audition time. It was fantastic!

Cons: I would like to be able to view all of the responses recorded with more ease all at once instead of individual responses to see what each student says. When you download the spreadsheet, it can still be a little confusing without some formatting. I know that's just a me thing, but that was really the only negative I could come up with for this review.

Overall: I love Google Forms, and I am excited to continue to use them and grow my knowledge of how to make them the most effective and efficient for my classroom.

Cons: There is nothing that I least like about Google Forms but an suggesting for it, in questionnaires if we could have a function which will show the correct answer after an user submit any answer but then the answer user entered must be not changeable it would be great.

Pros: Creating and building forms couldn't be more simple. The ability to tie them to Google Sheets is also simple and amazingly helpful. I've used Google Forms on all sorts of different projects: everything from Expense Reports, Delivery Schedules, to Public Surveys. They've got tons of options to pick from when creating your form: to get just the right information that you're looking for, while gathering the information that you need!

Cons: Google has knocked it out of the park with this one: the only real Con would be the limited options for customizations on appearance. You can add some color schemes to your form and a logo, but otherwise: it's limited in the way that it can look.

Overall: Company wide we use google forms to survey our employees, track expenses, and schedule shipments. I've used it to find volunteers and gather opinions from the public. It's a flexible, easy to use tool that we use every day.

Pros: The whole process of creating and sending out a Google Form is very neat. You can customize the way it looks, which is a plus. You can make questions required or not required. Also, Google may suggest you an answer format to ask for based on the content of the question (like a yes or no question will prompt you with the multiple choice answers). You can also add images and there's options to submit files. This can be used for so many different things, like submitting schoolwork, elections for school clubs, feedback for a club, etc.

Cons: I feel that the compilation of the data is hard to sift through because often there's so much of it, and when you get long answers it's hard to look at them when they're kept in one line and you have to scroll really far in a spreadsheet. This can be frustrating when you want to read one answer. Additionally the text is difficult to read sometimes because there's so much to it - if there was some sort of color coding for this it would be much easier to go through.

Pros: Google forms are in its context very simple and easy to use. Anyone with a little bit of computer fluency can efficiently build up a basic survey form. However it doesn't stop there. You can use the options such as bullet points, multiple choice questions, fill in questions and images also to make it more interesting. Sharing is also very easy. Either you can send the link or share direct with the email. Reviewing responses is also easier as they allow you to see them on a spreadsheet.

Cons: Customization options compared to other survey softwares are very limited. When sharing the survey link via email you have to add each email address manually. It would have been better and easier if we could upload an email list.

Overall: I have been using Google forms for the last five years. Beginning with getting feedback from clients on banners, to employee feedback I have found Google forms have worked best with me both because of its simplicity and ease of use. The spreadsheet view of responses has helped me a lot to compare results and responses for a proper analysis and reporting.

Pros: I primarily use Google Forms to do office-wide surveys, and it is an easy to use platform that enables me to customize the questions and what answers I want from my team.

What I like the most is that whenever you do a survey, it provides you suggestions on how you will formulate the survey type of the answer you would want to be based out of the question you formulated which is most of the time spot on. I also like the functionality of Google Form that whenever you put another survey question, it will give you a recommendation on the format.

Google Form made it easy for me to collate information too. Once you receive an answer, it will immediately transfer it to an online excel where you can see the results real-time (individually or by batch). You can also download it as an excel file to make sorting and filtering easier.

Cons: The only thing I least like about this software is the that the template and survey types I can choose from are not that many. It is also plain and sometimes looks very formal and boring.

Pros: - Free!

- The functionality is quite encompassing and there are numerous formats of questions (i.e. you can create a long-answer question or a 1-2-3 question or multiple-choice, or even a question where people have to rate each line based on the scale you provide etc.)

- It integrates seamlessly with Google Drive (because, duh, it's Google Forms) and has the option to create a spreadsheet with the collected data.

- It's good for both business purposes, educational (there is an option to make the form a test), and personal (for example, a poll for who'd like what on their burgers)

Cons: - I'd love to implement logic (as in "if you say yes here, you go to this question, if you say no, then you go to that one."

- Sometimes the top picture fits weirdly or is blurred (despite being of a good quality and large resolution intitially)

Overall: We have done numerous polls using Google Forms both for our business partners' feedback as well as our own team members. It's been awesome!

Pros: Google forms is easy to use - There isn't really much of a learning curve before using the application. I also like the fact that Google forms has a lot of functionality, like you can add images, and even videos to your google form questions.

I also like the the fact that you can add different types of questions - multiple choices, short answer, long answer, yes/no questions etc. This helps to make the form more interesting.

Another awesome thing about Google Forms is the awesome templates that come with the application. This can really save time if you don't have time to do a form from scratch.

Cons: The only challenge I face with Google Docs is that it is not intelligent enough to tell you if the form has an problem/error when filling it. You have to constantly test it out before officially using it.

Overall: I love Google Forms. It really helps us at work when we need to digitally collect data from a group of people.

Pros: When I say that Google Forms gives us a great privilege that is interaction, I say this because thanks to this software we have been able to create forms and surveys that have not served to generate higher levels of interaction and optimization of our functions at work.

On the one hand, we prepare these survey forms for users of our aeronautical consortium in order to collect all the impressions of users who have both positive and negative impressions of the service we provide. Also, it allows us to use these forms to the workers of the consortium, in order to establish a profile of weaknesses and strengths in the structure of the work and thus establish better objectives and goals both individual and collective

Cons: A great software with excellent virtues, which, and in the words of all the workers of the consortium, has allowed us to improve our work functions in an incredible way. I have no objection about the use of this software

Overall: This is another wonderful software that should be included in your list of software to use in your work space, and the reasons are over, so do not waste more time and acquirer

Pros: I love this software because of the value (it's free!) and how much success we have had as a company using it. We use Google Forms to send out surveys to our catering clients about their service, food quality, etc. We used to email questions to our clients following their experience in an email, but we created this form (in a matter of minutes) and it looks so much more professional and helps us quantify everything on a scale of 1-5 so that we can see where we are lacking and where we are shining as a company. I LOVE that you can email the form to the client and it includes a link as well as imbedding the survey in the actual email so it really makes it super easy for the client to click through the questions quickly and submit them back in a timely matter.

Cons: It doesn't look as clean and professional as I'd like, but that is just a personal preference. For a free survey service I definitely prefer it over a website such as surveymonkey.

Overall: Since using google forms our survey return rate has increased significantly! We were getting 1-2 surveys back a month and now get 20-25 back!

Pros: It's really user-friendly; anyone can set up a form quickly and easily. Forms can be used to accomplish multiple functions in a work environment and the way the responses are stored in a Google sheet makes the data fairly easy to calculate.

Cons: I don't like that if you accidently shift anything on the Google Sheet where the data is stored it messes with the functionality of the form. We've had a lot of problems with this and it is has interfered with our work.

Overall: We use forms every single day to accomplish multiple functions. Overall, it's a simple solution to gathering important data from multiple sources.

Pros: Creating forms has never been so much more satisfying. Everything is done automatically for you all the data is collected and arranged into a nice spreadsheet. The best part is the ease of customising the way it looks that will help me satisfy my presentation and the user.

Cons: There are so much feature and different ways to get data that it can be overwhelming. I wish there was some colour coding so that it be easier to look through but I guess if you get more data, it be really pointless and it will be better to convert the data into something more presentable.

I like that it is free to use and the fact it has a mobile first approach in terms of the user interface of the tool. Thus making it easy for survey respondents to have an easy experience while accessing our surveys on their smartphones.

Cons: I think this is a near perfect tool, and I wouldn't want to complain about anything since it is free to use anyways.

Pros: Google Forms provides a use interface consistent with the G Suite of Google office productivity applications. Any user with basic computer proficiency can create simple forms in several minutes. This is useful for situations when simply using a voting button in an e-mail is not enough and you do not want to involve some third party site that transports the data through a web service. With Google Forms the data is simply stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet which can then be incorporated into a chart or graph.

Cons: Google Forms is limited in certain areas such as visual customization. There does not appear to be many options for customizing beyond the initial presets for a basic user. Short surveys and questionnaires are easy enough to make but some of the advanced features like creating nested, conditional forms quickly becomes cumbersome when making lengthier surveys.

Pros: The best thing about Google Forms is that it's compatible with other Google apps which makes it extremely easy to upload the data collected into a Google Sheet. It's easy to use and I can keep tabs on the results from my phone.

Cons: While there are a lot of features on Google Forms, you sometimes have to reformat your question to make it fit into one of the formatting styles. It can sometimes be tricky or look busy if you have to collect Likert-type data but is manageable.

Overall: I often collect data on teacher experiences for my job (for example, to rate their familiarity with topics before and after providing professional development). With Forms being part of Google, teachers are familiar with the format and are more likely to respond than if I send an external link. It's easy to assess the data. Charts are provided if I need to take a quick look at results. However, it's easy to load Forms results to Google Sheets if I need to do more statistical analysis.

Pros: Google forms is king, giving every one a lot of customization options. From background to the actual inputs. This may not be very big, but being able to slap you company logo and colors is a big thing specially for those small companies. It gives a very professional vibe that removes any doubts from people receiving the forms you want filled out. Over all its the go-to platform in this day and age where you need forms still done.

Pros: Has great question response options. (Multiple choice, drop down, checkbox, file upload, etc.)

Can easily make questions optional or required.

Jump to different questions based off of responses.

Easily move questions and sections around.

Links to forms are easy to share.

Cons: It would be nice to be able to view a completed form in my inbox rather than have to click the link that is emailed to me to view the form.

Once taken to view completed forms, you have to scroll through all the previously completed forms to get to the new one.

There is no indication in the email that you have received a completed form as to the person who completed it.

You can only delete or print forms. It would be nice to save them in different folders for organizing/archiving purposes.

Design options are limited. It would be nice to be able to brand with our logo.

Overall: Overall, Google Forms does what we need it to do. Some added options/features would be nice, but considering that it is free, I can't complain much. It offers a lot more than other free options out there.

Pros: Anyone can set up a form easily; you login, pick the questions, set up the basic look and feel, and with a few clicks can have the settings done. While very limited in what you can do, for many this is a big benefit. By simply linking to a page, you can use this in many ways - I've seen unsubscribe forms for people sending emails outside of a vendor, in surveys for a non profit that couldn't afford a paid one, and didn't have the time to learn other tools.

Cons: The limitations in design , you have to ask for an email first, instead of being able to put this lower on the form. Embedding the forms is possible, but it's not elegant and a bit wonky, so best to use it by linking to Google's Forms, which allow you to put a basic header graphic on the top and tweak the colors a bit to make it similar to your site.

Pros: Google Forms is an easy way to get information from others via a web form. The forms are very simple to setup, and offer different field types and options. The form is then simple to send out to others, and compiles the data that people fill out into a simple Google spreadsheet for you! This makes the form answers / results easy to save, organize, and share with others as well! I highly suggest giving this a try the next time you need to gather information from people online!

Cons: There are a limited number of themes for the forms, but that's okay. They are clean and simple and don't distract from what they are intended to do.

Overall: I've used Google Forms to gather info for a number of projects. Some were projects I did coordinating volunteer efforts for my kids' various school groups. It was great to use as sign-up forms, to get feedback from people, and to gather email and contact information!

Pros: The software was very easy to use to both create and take surveys. The software also provided great analytics tools that showed summaries of your data, that could then be saved as a google sheet spreadsheet.

The software was free and online with no paid upgrades, so you would get the full version at no extra cost.

The software had a variety of handy question types, that sometimes used AI to help you fill them out.

The software had tools for teachers such as Auto Grading and a quiz format.

The software allows people taking the form or survey to upload images/files as a response to a question.

Cons: The look of the forms when shared did look a little bit informal.

The software doesn't have an API for developers

The software did not provide a more advanced way of creating a form (HTML, etc.)

Overall: Google Forms is great for getting a form done. The end result will always look okay (depending on your circumstances), be functional and provide great analytical results.

It is completely free which is a plus for anyone on a budget, but it doesn't have all the features that some other form software have. The pros outwiegh the cons heavily, so I think google forms is worth a try when you are making a survey/quiz/form etc. next!

Pros: I love the mobile-friendly, modular configuration that makes it easy to add new questions and even gives suggestions for the type of format - 10 in all - that might best fit the question. The "Responses" tab provides a complete report of responses including colorful pie charts for multiple choice answers. It's great that you can also print (usually way too many pages, but could be saved as a PDF) or download the data as a CSV file that will easily convert to Excel.

Cons: I like to take screenshots of the pie charts as well as the responses to "Short Answer" questions for some reports to share with others, but if there are a lot of typed responses, you have to scroll down the box and do a number of screenshots until you capture all of the responses. That said, I also understand the impracticality of formatting the response boxes to be tall enough to hold every response.

Overall: I've used Google Forms for everything from a vote for the favorite family reunion t-shirt color to audience surveys for the children's theater company I work for. They display nicely and totally uncluttered, and with the downloadable reports, Forms are fantastic option for individuals or organizations.

Pros: The best two benefits of using Google Forms are that the software is both free and easy to use. You can quickly create a form for surveys, polls, or research. There are many types of questions to select, and plenty of options for each. Forms will aggregate data and create analytics for you, which is a very nice feature. Data can also be stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, which lets you do more with the data.

Cons: Unfortunately, there are considerable drawbacks to this software. While the forms are very customizable when it comes to collecting data, there are not many options when it comes to analyzing data. While the data can be aggregated in Google Sheets, there are few options to sort and edit the data within the sheets. Another drawback is that you cannot program data responses. For example, "10" "10.0" and "ten" would all show up as different answers in a free response, which can make it difficult to properly analyze data. Finally, Google does not yet have it's own version of Access or a database software, which means that these forms can not have their data compiled into a fully-fledged database.

Pros: The ease at which a user can create a quick survey or feedback form is fantastic. The question elements feed directly into a spreadsheet, making compiling and analyzing responses easy. With basic spreadsheet formula and formatting knowledge, Google Forms can be used to create anything a coordinator would need to manage a volunteer program or other participation-based group activity.

Cons: The main drawback of Google forms is how easy it is to use. To explain - when working with Google Forms, there is a feeling that the user can duplicate the products or services of more expensive databases or survey services for free. Indeed, this might be the case on some scale, but I would caution anyone looking to use Google Forms replace a dedicated survey service like SurveyMonkey or other company-provided database. For small organizations or small projects, Google Forms is a great tool. When scaling this service, however, security concerns and time required for data analysis quickly become more than a user expected.

Overall: Overall, my experience with Google Forms is fantastic. I strongly encourage anyone in coordinator or management roles to be familiar with what this service can do - both to make use of its' flexibility and capabilities, and to use it as a benchmark against which other similar services can be assessed.

Pros: This tool is very good for making surveys right here, right now without getting overwhelmed by formatting and doozy UI. If you know what you need - this tool will help to realize it.

I've been using this tool in two ways:

One - as a Q&A surveys where users could type their own answers.

Two - as a static questionnaire where users could select an answer they preferred or thought to be correct.

Both ways work really good and this opens up a lot of insights with ease.

User Interface, both back and front are easy to follow and there are no complications in getting to know how to use it.

Cons: There are some limitations in formatting the survey, but it is mostly a matter of taste and not a technical limitation. Although i would've liked more room for customization and more sophisticated question formatting.

Pros: Google forms are an excellent alternative to create surveys and analyze their results. Its design is totally responsive, it adapts to all platforms and devices, so there are no limitations to access and fill out the forms. On the other hand, I consider that its best feature is that it has different tools that facilitate the analysis and interpretation of the answers obtained, since it allows you to observe the answers in real time and place them in graphic form or as you wish.

Cons: In general it seems to me that the software works quite well, there are no negative aspects that I can emphasize in my experience.

Pros: Its automatic integration with Google Sheets is what i like the most. As soon as responses are made, it automatically makes entries into my Google Sheets. Thus, it has really made task of collecting data or survey easier.

Moreover, it also allows to edit response to user and the changes are updated in my Google Sheets within seconds. There is no manual work required.

It also has settings to turn ON Notifications via email when anyone fills in my form.

It is very organised and I can also customize the form to give it various looks are per the requirement.

Moreover the form template is saved in my drive so I could reuse my form anytime in future.

Cons: Google account is a must to fill a form. Rather i would like if responses could be filled by anyone and we could put password for protection.

I think the way we can share form with our clients needs a bit more features.

Pros: This software is very much like Excel that most people use in the day-to-day business world. It's so much easier to use Forms in a shared drive so everyone who needs it can use it, as opposed to creating it, emailing to people so they can make changes, they email it back, etc. So much more efficient like the other programs in the Google Drive group. It's so easy to use, especially in the age of people working remotely. I love this program

Cons: The only thing I don't like is trying to convince my colleagues that it's better than Excel!

Overall: This works well for me when I'm working with a co-worker remotely. He works on his part and then I can review to see what I need to do next.

Pros: - Forms are easy to access and share to my team.

- It's easy to duplicate the same form and re-title each month.

- Team members have no issues when submitting data through forms.

- Accessing past forms is easy via Google Drive.

- Responses are clearly laid out and easy to sort through individual responses or group responses.

Cons: - Specifications for header images are not uniform and require editing on my part to have them look the best.

- Layout customization could use more options.

- Having to upload photos through google drive discourages my team members from submitting photo responses through the form.

Overall: Google Forms makes it easy to organize data when collecting responses from my team to create monthly recaps.

Pros: This is the most customizable and FREE survey program out there. I use it for so many facets of my work and home life, and find the data output options, perfect for my purposes. It's great that I can add other administrators to my forms as well as the responses.

Cons: I am not a fan of the 'NEW' version of Google Forms, only because I cannot customize the 'theme' and banner as I used to be able to in 'old forms'. Thankfully, Google listens to their client feedback and has allowed users to continue opting for 'old forms'.

Overall: I have saved so much time creating survey forms and collating data through a single form, that I used to have completed in individual attachments in email. This is the best product out there these days if you ask me.

Pros: Our website heavily relies on surveys. It is one of our ways to connect to our audience. With Google Forms, we can easily create surveys and share it with our audience. Making one is very easy, even beginners can create quick and beautiful forms.

Cons: I do not have any major complains because it is a free software. We don't need fancy tools to create surveys. Google Forms have enough features to suit our needs.

Overall: I use it almost everyday to make surveys and other types of forms. It's easy and making a form is a breeze.

Pros: Google Forms allows our business to streamline custom forms for immediate customer feedback. It's an integral part of our practice because Google Forms makes it simple, easy and efficient for customers to provide feedback to improve customer support.

Cons: Google Forms can be very nuanced and it's not self evident how robust the software to first time users. Consequently, the learning curve is very high for using it to its full capacity. Video tutorials endorsed and provided are missing and would provide an added benefit to all the aforementioned features, and how to easily incorporate them into the software. Even so, I highly recommend.

Pros: One of our focuses is customer feedback and another software we use to gather these feedbacks is Google Forms. The possibility to integrate it with other Google software is a big plus. With this, we can send surveys through email. The minimalistic feeling of the surveys are always pleasing to the eyes; the themes present are great and simple. It is very easy to use and understand. Google Forms is very helpful with my survey needs.

Cons: The decreased possibility of customization of surveys is a disadvantage to this product. Sometimes the end-products are too simple for our casino which is supposed to be colorful and alive, even our surveys must show this theme.

Pros: I use it google forms for surveys and event registeration, It's really easy to collect and organize information using google forms. Default templates are great starting point if you are unsure what you need, You can also customize fields, fonts, embed youtube video and image. It's easy to analyze the reponse exactly from the same place where your questions are, I also like how you can add people as colloborators to help you.

Cons: Though it has an option to print the form, output is not optimized for printing. It doesn't use real estate efficiently and as result what can be printed on one single page, extends to another page.

Pros: I love that forms allows you to look at your responses or results in multiple ways. You can either view them by each question and see how a group responded to that specific question or you can view a single person and see how they responded to all the questions. Depending on the type of question, forms will even create a chart for you to easily compare your results.

Cons: As a teacher, I use forms as quizzes and pre tests in my classroom. One thing I wish Google Forms had was a multiple choice or matching option as a question type. This would open new possibilities for me as I assess my students. I think it would open forms to a broader audience and uses.

Pros: I love how easy it is to use. Having a Google account comes with some of the best perks, and forms is one of them. Everyone in the office has a Google account so it's easy to send out a form in order to get dates for events or staff meetings since we are a small team, we are able to be flexible with our schedules and work with one another. I also use it a lot in school and every one of my classmates uses it in order to set a meetup time or topic choices. It's understandable, easy, and convenient.

Cons: I haven't found anyting I dislike about it other than it's not the greatest to use with people outside of a google account.

Pros: I use Google Forms in both my professional life and personal life. I've used a Google Form for my side business for 3+ years, and it is so easy to collect and review responses. I just transitioned my company to using a Google Form for scheduling, and it seems to be easy for anyone to respond to, and I get an email as soon as there is a response.

Cons: I wish the visual design of the forms could be customized a little more. In this age of super rich quality graphics, Google Forms seem just a little outdated and clunky. Uploading a custom image into the header is tricky, as it only accepts specific dimensions, which are not listed.

Pros: Simply put Google Forms rocks. I have used it for school and extracurricular activities to perform surveys as well as sign up forms. Data presentation seems good for our case and building a form could not be simpler. Plus it's free. Data can be sent out to other Google products (Namely Sheets/Excel) for easier processing also.

Cons: For my usage case, I have not noticed any cons. One thing that I have noticed in surveys others have posted though is that anonymous surveys can be prone to one person submitting multiple times. Without login, it may be prone to data being falsified etc.

Overall: If you need a simple form or survey look no further.

Pros: Google Forms has been my go-to form builder for more simple, quickly needed forms. There are many other more in depth and full featured form builders out there, but G forms is super quick to set up and has just the right amount of features to be useful. You can now get plugins in the web store to really expand the features, but those aren't part of this review.

The other great feature is the ability to instantly put responses into a G Sheet which then makes it much more easier to work with and the data is live.

Cons: It seems like Google hasn't paid attention to this product for quite some time. There was a major update a number of years ago but after that it seems like nothing new has been added since then. It would be nice for some more up to date features that would put it closer to SurveyMonkey, but then again Google Forms is a free tool as part of Google Drive so I guess we can't expect too much. Regardless it's great for gathering data from users.

Great way to easily collect data (internally or externally).

Pros: Google Forms is extremely easy to use and to set up, we rolled this out as our go-to survey creation tool across the University and everyone has very quickly become accustomed to its features. We use it as both a survey collection tool and general feedback form, everything from a Christmas dinner ballot to new website design feedback is collected via Google Forms.

Cons: Styling the forms to our University branding / styling is rather hard if not impossible to achieve, so we have to stick with Google's standard colored themes. This is of course not a big deal at all, but it would definitely be nice to have.

Pros: It is a free and easily accessible tool that allows you to create surveys and forms for the collection of information in a very simple way. On the other hand, Google Forms is integrated with different calculation tools that facilitate the analysis of the data obtained. In general, it is a solid tool that has very useful and simple features to use.

Cons: From my point of view the basic functions of this software work correctly, during its use I did not get any negative aspect or disadvantage.

Pros: I've worked on multiple projects that require a survey or questionnaire of some sort and Google Forms has made it so entirely simple to collect all the data I need post project. There are a lot of paid services that do the same exact thing as this

Cons: It's taking all my brain power to think of a negative part of this software. If you're using Google Forms it's because you need a quick and dirty solution to capturing submissions, not because you're looking for a more grand functionality - so really the only "negative" thing I can think of is its simplistic nature. Pros: We use Google Forms to ask customers how we did after services have been performed. We can view each customers submission or allow them to keep it anonymous. The form itself can be completely customized to fit any situation. Love the fact customers can even attach pictures to their forms. Sometimes, especially in customer service, seeing what a customer likes or dislikes adds to the company's ability to adjust and improve.

Cons: Would like to be able to import a client list to send the survey to versus manually entering an email address, or attaching the link to an email. Pros: Google Forms has helped me throughout the years by allowing for me to create surveys easily. It's really easy to create a survey on Forms, because of the sheer number of question customization options. I've made many different questions, from true/false questions, to open ended checklist-type questions, and they all came out perfectly. Google Forms also allows for required/not required questions, which makes survey-making much easier as well.

In the end, it's also really easy to see the results of your survey, and import them into other programs.

Cons: Making surveys on Google Forms is nice and simple, but seeing the results, especially on mobile phones, can sometimes result in small glitches. For example, the name of certain categories in an open-ended question did not come up for me in some cases.

Pros: I see Google form as user friendly from my experience and I haven't come across any colleague in my current or past place of work who had difficulties using this program. Its drag and drop features makes it easier to create my Google form surveys and quizzes faster.

I like how I am able to use results generated from my Google form surveys to create charts ; thereby providing me with a graphical view of my survey data.

Cons: I use Google forms for straight forward and basic surveys, therefore I haven't had a need to complain about how problematic it likely will be for advanced data collection activity. Maybe I have reservations about it being a must that I own a gmail account before being able to access Google forms. However it is a free program and this should not be a problem to anyone really interested in using Google forms.

Overall: I use Google forms for data collection activities, which we use to get feedback from our customers.

Pros: I first started using online forms using Google Forms. The best thing about it is it's free. You can use it as part of your Google account, which comes with a lot of wonderful features, and Google Forms is one of them. It's easy to use, drag and drop. You don't need any form of technical skills. ANYONE can do, and it's not intimidating when you first start using it. It's like translating your paper form into an online form. The templates are pretty, too.

Cons: Unlike other similar products, they offer a lot of add ons, i.e. customization and analytics, Google Forms doesn't offer that flexibility. You can't "pretti-fy" the forms in the way that you would wish you could, like you could in Infopath or something. It doesn't come with stats, and the best thing you can do with it is connect it to other Google products, which require a lot of technical knowledge. On the bright side, it's free. :)

Pros: Google Forms is another great free software from Google. You just need a Gmail account in order to access it. You can create different kinds of forms like surveys, RSVP, contact info, customer feedback and many more. There are lots of templates to choose from.

It is so user-friendly and anyone can definitely set it up with ease. You can also share the forms you have created easily.

Cons: It looks like I do not have any complaints about it. It is free and so much fun to use.

Overall: I love doing surveys and other forms with it. It's so easy to make one and share to your colleagues.

Pros: The range of forms you can create for no money is absolutely insane. Great value and tool for any website.

Cons: Sometimes when under huge amounts of traffic the form will severely slow down its confirmation email sending.

Pros: Google Forms is easily customizable and despite lacking a background in programming ,I still get to use Google form effectively. I have found it easy to add questions and tweak how I want survey respondents to answer questions either via box ticking ,selecting from pre listed answers, etc

It is mobile compatible for both myself on the creative end and survey respondents on the user end.

Cons: The ability for survey respondents to answer my surveys more than once in error, has always influenced the error ratio for my surveys. Will be create if Google introduces a way this can be reduced.

Pros: Google Forms are really easy to set up and publish. Also sharing the link to the forms and getting people to fill the form is fairly simple. And the data produced by the forms can be take using other Google applications such as Google Sheets which provides a great way to view the data gathered by the Google Forms. All things considered this is the best way to take the input of a large number of people.

Cons: Diversity and customization is limited in the Google Forms since they are rigid in the structure of the forms. These form may lack more dynamic features that can be seen on some web pages. This may be reason for some users to dislike the application but personally i do not have an issue with that.

Overall: This is the most used method to get feedback from large number of people. The user acceptance testing for most software development projects were conducted using Google Forms. This was also used to gather some data from our batch in the university.
