I often use Google Forms in class to quickly create surveys and exit cards. There is an easy option to create a quiz with points awarded, and I especially like the option to create an Escape Game. The complete analysis and graphic presentation are currently available.

Pros

Google Forms is completely free and is available on Google Drive to all users of a gmail address. Access is easy in Google Drive by clicking + New and selecting Google Forms. We can create a questionnaire, survey, quiz with assigned points or create an interesting Escape Game using the ability to assign sections. It is easy to share directly on social networks (Facebook and Twitter), via email, created link, and we can embed it on our website or in the forms of some digital tools. Access to feedback is quick and easy. A graphic summary of all answers, an analysis of answers to individual questions and a complete presentation of all personal answers are available. We can also share the form for collaboration and assign the ability to edit. There is an option to insert your own photos and videos by copying the YouTube link. We can set the cover image of the form by choosing from the offer of templates in Design or by uploading it from our computer. Also, we can choose the appropriate background color of the form. All changes in the form are automatically updated.

Cons

The downside is the small number of different types of questions, but given that Forms is completely free and easy to use, there's not much to complain about. It would be good if there was also the possibility to upload shorter videos from a file on the computer. This problem is solved by uploading your own video to your YT channel and copying the link into Google Forms. It would be good if there was an option to automatically generate a QR code for sharing.

I can't fault google forms. I use them regularly and they are so easy to use. You can duplicate or customise to suit your needs, and ensure its design matches your branding. You can choose a variety of ways to view the data that is collected, and exporting the data into a usable spreadsheet, that updates in real time as people fill in the form, is fantastic. I highly recommend.

Pros

I love that Google forms can be easily customised, so I can upload my own branding to match all my other stuff. It's so easy to use, and gathering the results of the form into on sheet is very simple.

Cons

I think Google would benefit from creating an app that holds all the Google forms in one place. From there I could see which are still open or closed, and then close them when I am ready to. It would also then be easy to duplicate or copy forms to create new forms. In Google drive it can be difficult to locate where all the forms are, whereas if they were all together in one app, this would be useful. I am sure there are apps that do this, but I think if Google forms were to create their own, people would use this.

Great! 10/10 recommend--especially when first getting started with forms.

Pros

As the title says--free (included in Google Suite / Google Workspace), wildly easy to use, and much more user friendly than some of the more complicated survey, form, and questionnaire builders out there. If you're looking for a survey builder and publisher that you can pull together and share ASAP--this is the tool for you.

Cons

N/A -- honestly, there is nothing we don't like about Google Forms. If you need incredibly complex form development and design--probably go elsewhere. That said, if the face of the form/survey can be relatively simple and the weight lies in the data collected and post-survey analysis, exporting and transferring to Google Sheets and then running Excel analysis will do you well. (For free.)

My overall experience with google forms is good. It's easy to use.

Pros

In my opinion, Google Forms is the most intuitive survey software I have used. It is so intuitive that I think anyone who can browse the internet, will encounter no difficulty learning to use it. Another strong point of Google Forms is collaboration. When creating surveys using Forms, it is easy to exchange ideas with my team via live comments, and the ability to track changes made to the form in real time.

Customisation options on Google Forms is very limited , and Google Forms doesn't integrate with non-Google applications.

Overall this is really one of the best and easy to deploy forms. Easily accessible and manageable. You can create forms from your excel. The power of extensions is superb. One can really develop complete automated software with this. Recommend to use Query function with the response collected and use Google Free Website to host it for more professional look and feel.

Well there are various features that i like about google forms but for me my top list includes : 1.Limit to one response by one user. 2. Auto email to modify the submitted data. 3. Generation of spreadsheets with links / urls of uploaded files collected by forms. 4. Compatibility on Windows , Mac and Android. 5. Powerful open to use library of extensions.

Cons

Masked inputs are missing. One can not set the username and password kind of the stuff from preconnected database.

I really like Google forms because it is simple, intuitive and very useful. I also filled Google's shape myself, and although it may not have a very professional appearance, it achieves its objectives well. It can also be used for questionnaires, but I don't use this option.

Pros

I liked most of the software is that the module is easy to create and develop. In addition, I liked the dramatic function that allowed me to organize questions in this sequence. In addition, the cooperation tools allowed us to share important documents among the departments that allowed us to immediately achieve the information. The answers collected are recorded on the spreadsheet, which can be manipulated in it, such as the comparison and assignment of differences in the data collected. The creator of surveys helped us collect comments from our clients, which allowed us to find out what areas improve general performance.

Cons

Personalization is too limited in several aspects. For example, I really like to add parameters to increase the size of the symbol in the description field. And sometimes I want to adjust the confirmation page interviewed by the person who was interviewed. Until now, you can only change the text, and this is also limited by a paragraph.

I've used the forms on many of my websites as well as sending a direct link to the form, which helps with social media and other platforms. The reliability of the Google Forms is unparalleled. I've had many issues with other plugins and form providers with the actual email delivery of form submissions, but with Google Forms I have never had an issue receiving the forms via email. Using Google Forms is a perfect way to gather information from those you need it. You build the form, you share the form, you will receive the submissions via email. Great product.

Pros

I like that the forms work right out of the box. With many products I have used I have experienced delivery issues and form submission gathering issues. I have never had an issue with either when using Google Forms. Building the form is very intuitive and quick, especially after you build a few and get used to the setup. The form building process guides you through nice process to keep mistakes away. You can place your form on your website or send out via link and this is very useful.

Cons

The only issue I have found is with submissions and going through them. They can "stack up" and become difficult to wade through for the correct submission. Custom design of the form isn't allowed and this is the biggest weakness currently.

Reason for choosing Google Forms

I needed a more reliable form that would get past the form submission email blocks that I was experiencing. There are ways to get around the delivery issue, but it takes some time to setup and I didn't want to spend that time on email delivery, I just wanted a working form. Google supplied this.

Google forms is one of my favorite data collection software which I have been using for two years. As a station master, I need to get feedback from my co-workers and passengers regarding the service that we provide to passengers and as a government company, how railway system affect to its employees and what opportunities they have gained. That feedback really really matters. and it is a fundamental pillar of a successful company. I can easily gather data from a large crowd using google forms and those data can be analyzed using google sheets. So my overall experience of using google forms is really positive as this software highly impact to the growth of railway system.

Pros

Few years back I used paper feedback submission forms to collect data. Those days I had to print questions in papers and it takes a considerable time to fill a form. So that most of the passengers don't spend their time to write in a question paper. Then google forms came in to the picture and it converted the physical paper into a completely digital system. It reduces the paperwork a lot. Also passengers tend to fill those since it takes a less time than writing answers in a paper. Google form can be created with multiple questions with different types of question types like true/false, yes/no, multiple choices etc. Depending on the response for a certain question, I can give different set of other questions as well. Also questions can be set as essential since it make sure the target audience fill out all the important fields. Also some fancy editable templates are available to use. Responder doesn't need a google account to respond; just click the link and respond. After creating a form, the link can be shared and the data is dumped into google sheet. Then I can analyze the submitted data in real time and can take decisions. The development of railway system highly depends on the satisfaction of the passengers and its employees. So those collected and analyzed data is shared with the higher management to take further decisions. For two years, google forms helped me to take decisions based on the real data in a very practical manner and I think the result is obvious.

Cons

I have experienced that the design customization capabilities of google docs are somewhat limited. It would be great if there are multiple ready to use templates and rich text editing ability available for google forms. Other than that I am totally satisfied with the service that the google forms providing for us.

Google forms is an online surveying platform that use to collect data and analyze them. Because of its features, we can create advance questionnaires very simply and quickly. Results collected from the questionnaire can be analyzed very quickly looking at the charts generated automatically by the platform. Almost every person in the world has their own smartphone now. Therefore we can easily collect information from the people. I think Google forms is the best way to collect data analyze them.

Pros

Google forms is very simple to use, for both parties who make the questionnaire and who answer the questionnaire. Many types of question formats are available in Google forms and we can use them as our need. Radio buttons are available to select one choice from the given answer list, check boxes to select one or more choices and we can include text box to type the answer. This is a great feature of Google forms. I used normal question papers to collect data earlier and that was very annoying work. I had to make the question sheet, print it, share those printed question sheets among people and collect them. That was very hard and costly. Analyzing those answer sheets also very hard. But now it is quite easy with Google forms. No any printing and distribution cost. I can make them and share through Whatsapp, Facebook or any social media. Analyzing the result is very easy and fast because this gives out a real time result for the answers collected using graphical representations like graphs. There is an important option in Google forms. From this option, we can set how many times one person can answer the survey. It can be set to one time or many times. This option also very helpful when someone who we need to collect answers do not having a phone.

Cons

I don’t have any bad feeling about Google forms. But I faced some problems in some instances when using this. This requires internet connection to fill the form and analyze results. Therefore without internet we cannot use this. Another problem I faced that some people don’t know how to use this. Still there are some rural areas where smartphones are not in use. If we want to do a survey with them, we cannot use Google forms. No any considerable issue on using Google forms to collect data other than those mentioned above.

my experience with google forms started when I started crypto investment, there are different crypto projects out there each project comes through a phase that requires advertising for the new project, some projects are for announcing new Crypto coins ... they call it Airdrops .... they distribute free coins to each participant who signs up for the project and they can purchase as they like. I registered for over 32 new coins project like Minereum, coinstelegram , spheroid, .... and others, I registered for that many projects because they are good investments and I made good money from those projects, when I read about a new Airdrop or new coin project and I want to register....  the registration steps were so simple and made by Google Forms it takes no technical knowledge, all I need to do is complete the registration form, that form is straight forward not so many steps not so many pages to complete the registration,  each form I complete I get a copy from it sent to my Gmail account, I can access the form and edit any information if I want. Google Forms helped me and those investment projects to make money , and that's why so many projects and surveys are done using Google forms because they trust Google products

The first and foremost thing about Google forums is that I can't use this application without access to the internet. Sometimes, I am present at a place where I can not have internet connections; I face difficulty using this application. My overall experience with Google forms is balanced not so good, not so bad. But I am impressed with its quiz feature with can help to convert your google form into live quiz with point system. Still there are many improvement needed in it.

What I most like about Google forms is it's simple UI. It's form creation process is very quick and easy. It also provides vast amount of form templates for different events like Event registration, Party invite, Session RSVP and many more. There are some features which you don't find in other form applications like you can make a Google form a quiz and apply point system in your form, dividing forms in sections, different visualizations for collected data. Also this forms can also be used for taking online exams.

Cons

Google forms gives you lot's of features but there are many factors which affects its positive experience. Most important one is handling higher traffic, Google forms are very bad at handling higher submission traffic. Let me give you one example, Suppose there is an event happening all over India and participants responses are to be collected by google forms, then it will be not a perfect choice because due to higher traffic form immediately crashes. I also want to request to the google forms team to create a mobile application for forms so it would be much easier to create and send forms to specific target audience.

They really enjoy this process and love looking at the different comments and charts. I have not found another option that makes this so engaging and so efficient. There is a small learning curve, but one that is worth the time and effort to integrate into your classroom.

Pros

I use Google Forms in a number of ways in my classroom. One way is to get instant feedback from my students. I create a quick survey and link it to my classroom Google Site. Then I have them take the survey. This gives me instant information that I can use to guide my instruction, create groups, and lots of other possibilities. Another feature that I like is that we will play trivia games. I will have students answer the trivia question. Then I can quickly change the questions, have them refresh their page, and answer the new questions. They have a lot of fun with this. But the best part of Google Forms is for students to get feedback from each other. If you have Google Apps for Education, your students can make their own form. I have my students create one after doing a larger scale project. They then have other students take their survey and this can give them feedback on what they did well with their class presentation. This kind of peer to peer feedback has been very valuable in my classroom.

Cons

There are many possibilities with Google Forms and it has been a great addition to my classroom. The only thing I can think of that is sometimes a problem is getting the link to send out. I have shared this idea with colleagues and with my students but this part sometimes causes trouble. Many people want to copy and use the link on the main form. However, this is the "edit" link and you do not want to give this one out. So to send it out properly you have to click on the "send" button and then select the link. I have seen this small step cause trouble.
