Pros I like that it is included with Google accounts and I don't have to pay extra for it. I definitely makes it worth it as the cost is none. It is fairly straightforward to use as well. I appreciate the fact that it collects the data and I can download that data to an excel file. Cons I can't do everything I want it to do unfortunately. It is free and easy for users to answer. It saves me time from building custom survey tool. Good for internal team voting on features also. A simple tool for data driven decisions. Pros I use this for collecting beta user feedback and feature requests. It is very quick to make survey and send link to customers. The responses go to Sheets automatically, which helps me analyze data and prioritize what to build next for the product. Cons The design is very basic, I cannot make it look like my brand perfectly. It has become a necessity in our communication with parents, event RSVs and even polling staff in a quick manner during faculty meetings. Pros It is affordable - with our Google Workspace education account, it is free. The automatic response collection spares me the hassle of tracking down paper forms. Love the option to see who is yet to respond and send reminder emails on the platform. Cons Not possible to set forms to be opened at a certain time - I am to remember to share them on my own. They keep me so organized, and help me communicate with people (and promote events!). MUST HAVE Pros I use google forms ALL the time! It's so handy for collecting sign ups for events. You can have many forms going at once, and each is easy to find and utilize. I love that you can export data into a spreadsheet and even edit the spreadsheet to your needs. It's also very helpful to toggle various input as "required" or not. Cons If I had to pick a con, which honestly I really don't think there are many, but if you want responders to upload pictures or forms the only way to do that is to have them put it into a google drive. Very easy to learn and create but wish had even more freedom for design. Cons I would like to be able to better sort my forms. I would like to be able to group forms together under one title or folder. I would like more options for creating quizzes and tests - like matching word with definition. It is great for surveying employees since we all use the google domain and it's easy to customize features by having things like a survey live date, emailing records of responses, etc. Cons When trying to redirect the form to different paths based on user responses to questions there is no way to get an overview of the different paths. Pros The simplicity in terms of survey design is unbelievable and our sales team is able to construct custom data collection form to get clients feedback on our new line of ceramic tile and concrete products in a matter of moments. Cons The inbuilt complex employee scheduling capabilities of our sales reps on the field are virtually nonexistent, and there is no dedicated customer service that can be contacted whenever we want to implement complex integrations. This is the fastest solution for me when trying to get questions answered and figure out other options when I send as a questionnaire. I don't see myself shifting to another alternative for thing like this. Pros Google Forms has changed the way we get information back to the main office for a vastness of needs. From our elementary school perspective, we use Google Forms for anything from parent sign ups for events to surveys for staff and students. Our ability to customize and easily explain the process and use of the form link to our community makes this one of the most accepted ways we get back information. We love the ability to access this platform, both from the administrative side as well as the responder side, from anything from a computer to a tablet or phone. Cons There is NOTHING we do not like about Google Forms. Overall, this is one of the best Google platforms that we use!
