### "Convenient for Surveys!"

December 16, 2018

5.0

My overall experience with Google Forms has been great and I think its only shortcoming is that the interface is a little too limited as users can't design how their own surveys would look like. However, it gets the job done and that is the most essential thing.

Pros

What I like most about Google Forms is how versatile it is and how it can be used for a variety of different reasons. First and foremost, it can be used to create surveys and get other people's opinion on something. I was able to use this for a social media giveaway that my organization did and we were able to identify what people wanted us to giveaway based on their feedback. In addition, Google Forms can also be used internally by any organizations to get a opinion on something from their colleagues.

Cons

What I liked least about this software is that there's a lot of limitations in how the survey can look. There is no creativity involved in this and so every survey always looks plain and boring due to the interface that Google uses for the surveys created on this application. I feel like since it looks so plain and boring, we don't get as many responses as we would've liked to get.

### "I love the using google forms"

June 5, 2021

4.0

I am grateful to have somewhere I can create and store forms

Pros

It's easily edited and accessible. I can either create my own design or I can use the go-to templates and still create a sufficient document.

Cons

I would like a wider selection of template designs, more updated graphics. Some of the template designs seem a bit outdated and could use an update.

Reason for choosing Google Forms

Because it's so easy

### "Desirea Google forms review"

November 9, 2021

5.0

So far, our organization has been please with the functionality of Google forms. We are able to use it across several different platforms to help us support our school network.

Pros

Our network can run as many free polls as we'd like. The forms are shareable and can be edited by multiple collaborators. Logic threading helps to avoid unnecessary wording or questions. Capturing data via email or having the data complied to a spreadsheet is extremely beneficial. Being able to access Google forms on mobile devices is a great option and being able to assign a QR code to each form is so useful.

Cons

So far we have not run into many cons of using Google forms. The design customization is very limited and we aren't able to add pictures to the forms.

### "A very versatile and efficient tool for information acquisition"

June 6, 2020

5.0

Google Form has facilitated the way to collect information within our work team, being in real time it gives a detailed account of the events that have occurred, which are very useful for operational decisions instantly, the results are delivered organized in order to be analyzed by the different tools offered by the G suite, definitely a crucial tool in the organization.

Pros

The ease for creating custom forms is quite remarkable, it is only enough to have an active gmail account and it opens up the possibilities of creating and sharing forms which can manage the incoming information in real time, another notable point is the compatibility with multiple G Suite plugins allowing innumerable functions that adapt to each form.

Cons

The default templates are limited, it is complex to limit and restrict who can fill out the form since having the link to it can access it.

### "Google Forms rocks!"

March 19, 2026

4.0

I love using it, and enjoy making forms, surveys, and data collection tools. I highly recommend trying it out!

Pros

It's free! It's full of customizable features, and you can create really easy-to-use surveys, data-collection forms, and engagement for users.

Cons

I wish that it were a \*little\* more plug-and-play in terms of the features. Once you get used to it, it's easy, but figuring out the different sections, question logic, and if/then pathways takes a little time at first.

### "Best form software out there"

January 11, 2022

5.0

The overall experience with Google Forms is great. I have been using it since few years now and if anyone is looking for software to create forms online, then they must use Google Forms.

Pros

I like the integration Google Forms provide with other lots of software out there. I mean I use it mainly for form automation by using it with other automation software out there do perform many actions with just completing one single form. I like the spreadsheet integration they have in Google Forms.

Cons

What I like least about Google Forms is the option to design and ask quiz questions. Like I can only ask questions there, I want to make Quiz or ask question in different ways. If users select this then that or something else like this way which is not possible in Google Forms as far as I know.

### "Very good but with a key restriction"

March 6, 2019

4.0

I have had a very good experience, the form works really good and you can setup an entire landing page solution with it for very little money.

Pros

I liked that it's very easy to use, it's editor is at the same time very powerful and simple to learn.

Cons

It has a key restriction when it comes to receiving customer submissions from the form: only Google email addresses are received, and this makes it restricted for other accounts of other companies. Also managing the forms and submissions could be more clear for the admin user. It happened to me that once I deleted the files of the form unintentionally because it was mixed with other files in my Google Drive space. This could be solved by saving the form in a special folder with a warning not to erase, nevertheless I think it could be clearer for the end user.

### "Using Google Forms for Homeschooling"

December 15, 2020

4.0

I have and will continue to recommend Google Forms to teachers who would like to streamline their assignments & grading online.

Pros

I like how easy it is to set up online assignments for students that will self-grade, students can turn in on their time, and I can reuse with other classes. Google Forms makes it easy to create different question types (along with an answer key for each), open-ended questions, and include images. I can quickly glance over student submissions, make any necessary adjustments to points, and return the assignment to students. Google Forms even has an overview of all the responses so I can see if students are having trouble with any particular question.

Cons

Google Forms' self-grading feature doesn't allow for "case insensitive" or "ignore accents" responses, so I still have to manually review each submission that didn't match the key 100% to see if students may have earned "partial credit" for some questions. Google Forms also doesn't allow audio files to be used, which would be helpful since I teach a foreign language and would like the students to hear phrases or questions spoken as they respond on the quiz. Also, there's only a limited number of colors or themes to customize the look of the Forms.

Reason for choosing Google Forms

Google Forms saves me time in grading and evaluating my students' understanding of the concepts I teach.

### "The simplest, most efficient approach to acquire data"

July 11, 2023

5.0

My overall experience has been positive, and the data collection goals have been met. What I actually value most about this product is that we can get started right away. For users looking for Forms and Data Collection Tools, I would strongly recommend it.

Pros

Making a Google Form is quick and simple. A complicated data gathering form from our end customers can be created in about 30 minutes. There are numerous question formats available that can be customized to fit any business of any size. Google Forms is also a free product.

Cons

The absence of templates is one of Google Forms' drawbacks. Your forms may therefore be borderline tedious as a result.

### "Google Forms, Simple and Efficient for Data collection."

August 6, 2023

5.0

Pros

I would say the forms builder was by far the handy tool when it comes to Google forms. It provides a template accordingly, helps save time and most importantly is easy to use.

Cons

Even though the product is the best one out there, if the UI/UX was more polished, it would make huge difference. Google forms lacks fluidity while browsing from one action to another one.

### "Easy, Fast, Free Software for Forms and Surveys"

June 28, 2020

5.0

Google Forms saves me time in collecting simple sets of data from customers and prospects that previously required a lot of email back-and-forth, or more complex form tools that require a big monthly subscription if you want to do anything useful.

Pros

Makes it very easy to collect information from fans, customers, clients (non-secure info only). Whether I need a lot of info or just a handful of answers, I can create a quick form, share a link, and users have no problems filling it out. I can set it to get notified by email for each response, including the answers in the email. The data can then be easily used with other Google apps, or outside of google using a tool like Zapier.

Cons

I sometimes wish there were more options for question and answer format. Conditional questions would be nice. But for a free tool, it's great.

### "Quick and easy forms to gather early feedback"

December 9, 2021

5.0

It works really well to gather early feedback and learn from the beginning.

Pros

It is very easy to create a survey. In a matter of few clicks and having your questions clear, you can send the survey in just few minutes. Gathering thed results is also very easy, and you can see a lot of stats and answer information. You can also import the results to an Google Sheets project and analyze them there

Cons

It is not really very customizable, as the user of your survey will always see the Google Logo and style, so the branding opportunities are quite low

### "Google Forms - A Great Value For Surveys"

September 20, 2022

I love using Google Forms because they are cheap, very useful for data, can be integrated and can be made to look so professional.

Pros

These forms are so customizable you would think you hit the motherlode! I cannot believe boat as many people customize them!

Cons

Not enough people customize it and have plain and ugly forms. Maybe Google Forms could help with that.

### "It's my "go to" solution!"

October 14, 2020

5.0

I keep finding more ways that Forms is useful to my work. It is a "go to" tool that lives on my desktop and bookmarks bar.

Pros

Google Forms makes mundane communications into data rich processes that allow me to quickly gather responses into charts and graphs that I can use for planning purposes. I run a childcare center and when I need to ask parents or staff about anything (availability, field trips, snack choices, program suggestions, etc) I quickly create a Google Form and rely on it to do all the work of putting responses in a specific format and showing me who has and has not responded. I no longer go back and forth with individual parents and spend a lot of time parsing through emails to grab out the response then note it on yet another piece of paper on my desk. Forms are my friends.

Cons

So far, I haven't hit a snag. I need to learn how to manage my files a bit better...I have lots of Forms.

### "Google Forms for Technical Supports"

November 18, 2019

5.0

I actually like the fact that it is powered by a cloud storage, Google Cloud, making it accessible to everyone. Also, it allows us to make sure that only students, faculty and employees with a designated university Gmail can use the form, by signing in to their university Gmail prior to making a request. Very secured!

Pros

Google Forms is a versatile application that enable users to create a form, questionnaire or data gathering sheets that can contain various formats. While specifically working project-based, as a web developer in charge of the university's Policy Center, I also work full time as a member of the IT support team. We are the ones whom students, employees and professors call for help whenever there is a technical problem in classrooms, offices and the auditorium. Google forms was our way of receiving official and recorded requests from them. There is a link accessible to everyone in school and they are directed to our Google Form, where they could specify the issue, the help they need and their current location inside the campus. Once a request is received from a submitted Google form, our head IT assigns it to the nearest IT office located where the assistance is needed.

Cons

I like everything that Google forms has to offer because it really is helpful in any nature of company or business. It is a perfect aid for workspaces, and so it's simply amazing!

Overall, google forms is the best software for gathering date and it is also very user friendly .

Pros

Best thing about this software is that it is user friendly which offers wide range of question types and formatting options. Forms is a reliable and efficient tool for conducting surveys and gathering information

Cons

The things which i like least about this software is that it has Limited design options while there are a few customization options available for Google Forms, the design options are still somewhat limited. Users may find it challenging to create a unique, branded look for their forms.

Speaking of my last experience: I was collecting data for my business idea through Google Forms. Collected. Thank you, Google!

Cons

### "Great way to collect and store info"

December 5, 2018

5.0

Google Forms are a really great (free) way to survey info and store it securely.

Pros

Google Forms are a quick and easy way to collect and store info. I love that you can link responses up directly to a Google Drive spreadsheet so results can be accessible by various team members, and you know responses aren't falling through the cracks. Customizable visually, easy link-out or sending. Just a quick-and-dirty option for collecting data.

Cons

I do wish there were better options for adding in some explainer text in between questions, but you can work around that pretty easily. Also, I wish respondents didn't have to set up a google account in order to upload files. I'd love to see some infographics and analytics attached to this (like SurveyMonkey), but you get what you pay for (free!)
