### "Good experience. Easy to use."

August 13, 2026

5.0

Overall good experience with some useful functionalities such as advanced noise cancellation, which filters out background noises.

Pros

It's very easy to set up and use. There are many background options, filters as well as AI-powered beauty and makeup filters.

Cons

Some advanced features such as meeting recording require a Google Workspace subscription. It also has no direct file sharing inside the meeting, which could be very useful.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Google Meet

With Google you don't need an app to access Google Meet, you just click the link on your Google Calendar so it is easier to access.

### "The best go to solution for any form of online meetings "

September 11, 2026

5.0

Extremely happy, I use daily for all my meetings and I am very satisfied and would recommend for everyone to use

Pros

I pay for the google premium so I get extra features with google meet included, I am beyond satisfied with the value I get from that, I use meets daily for all my meetings and never have any bugs or issues. super simple to use and the best go to option

Cons

It would be nice for more setting options, sometimes the simplicity (which I think is a good thing) can make it feel a little limited. In comparison zoom has an abundance of camera settings to google meet

### "Basic with shortcomings. I expected better from Google"

September 1, 2026

3.0

We use this for non-Teams or Zoom calls. I am familiar with the other call platforms and by comparison I feel Google's version falls short. It is not as intuititve . If you simply want to talk on video, its fine but everything is hidden in menus that aren't intuitive to use on the fly.

Pros

Integrates well with gmail and google calendar. The basics are straightforward to use and I have found it to be reliable.

Cons

One time in an important external meeting it was unclear how to share a document via screenshare. This is a basic essential function and was hidden in a menu somewere.

### "A Highly Reliable, Secure, and Foolproof Virtual Classroom Solution"

May 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Google Meet has been exceptionally positive. As an educator, it serves as a highly reliable and efficient backbone for virtual classrooms. While it may lack a few advanced student-engagement tools out of the box, its seamless connection with Google Workspace, rock-solid security, and foolproof ease of use completely outweigh the minor drawbacks. It makes distance learning organized, accessible, and smooth for both teachers and students alike

Pros

What I appreciate most about Google Meet is how user-friendly it is for both teachers and students. Managing large classes is very easy, and the platform doesn't lag during live presentations. It is lightweight, highly secure, and makes online interactive learning completely hassle-free

Cons

It is a bit restrictive that you cannot record lectures natively unless you have a premium enterprise account. Also, managing permissions for external students (those joining without a school domain email) can sometimes be a bit tedious during a live session.

### "Great Value"

July 27, 2026

5.0

Meet is the best, free software on the market for simple meeting needs. It's intuitive and you don't need to give a lot of instructions when sending invites.

Pros

It's free for individuals and can be sued for personal and business needs among others. It has easy to use features like screensharing with or without audio and can be integrated with google calendar which is nice.

Cons

It's good for general meeting purposes but does not have some of the extra perks that industry-specific softwares have. In the education field, for example, there's more resources for sharing documents and typing in math equations or sharing a digital whiteboard.

Google Meets is my primary software that I choose to set up all of my digital meetings. I have had zero service interruptions and only great experiences using it.

Pros

### "A Great Choice for Everyday Business Meetings"

August 3, 2026

Our overall experience with Google Meet has been very positive. It has proven to be a reliable and easy-to-use video conferencing solution for our day-to-day communication and collaboration. The integration with Google Workspace makes scheduling meetings, sharing calendars, and collaborating on documents seamless, which has improved our team's productivity. The platform delivers stable audio and video quality, and features such as screen sharing, live captions, and background effects meet our everyday needs. While some advanced meeting management and reporting features are more limited than those of specialized conferencing tools, Google Meet provides excellent value for money and has consistently performed well for our business. Overall, it is a dependable solution that we would recommend to organizations looking for a simple and efficient meeting platform.

Pros

What we liked most about Google Meet was its simplicity and reliability. It is very easy to set up and join meetings, with no complicated installation or configuration required. The integration with Google Workspace makes scheduling meetings, sharing calendars, and collaborating on documents seamless. The platform provides good audio and video quality, effective participant management, and useful features such as screen sharing, captions, and background effects. We also appreciate its stability, as we have experienced very few technical issues during day-to-day use. Overall, Google Meet offers excellent value for money and is a dependable solution for business communication and collaboration.

Cons

While Google Meet works very well for everyday meetings, some of its more advanced collaboration features are not as extensive as those offered by dedicated video conferencing platforms. Certain meeting controls, reporting, and customization options are only available with higher-tier Google Workspace plans.

### "Highly stable and practical video calling tool for daily work"

September 4, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Meet has been excellent because it is a very stable and practical tool. It provides clean video quality and a smooth connection for all my standard freelance meetings. The platform is highly dependable and works perfectly on both my laptop and mobile phone without any lag.

Pros

What I like most about Google Meet is how incredibly fast and lightweight it is compared to other tools. You can join a professional video meeting directly through your web browser without downloading any heavy desktop applications. The integration with Google Calendar makes it very simple to schedule links for clients.

Cons

The free basic version has a one-hour limit for group calls, which can sometimes interrupt longer business presentations. Additionally, the grid layout options can look a bit cluttered when there are dozens of participants in the same room, making it slightly difficult to track who is speaking.

I am happy with my overall experience with Google and Google Meet. I trust their products and I am grateful that it continues to get upgraded and expanded features.

Pros

Very positive. Google meet is my video conferencing software of choice given price to value and easy integration into rest of the Google suite.

Pros

Cons

Google meet provides a very clean, reliable, and straightforward video conferencing experience. It serves as an excellent everyday tool for internal team syncing and quick external client calls due to its ease of access

Pros

### "Reliable, User-Friendly Platform for Effective Business Collaboration"

June 23, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Google Meet has been very positive. As a senior executive at iQor, I rely on virtual meeting platforms daily to collaborate with internal teams, engage with clients, and support strategic initiatives across multiple locations. Google Meet has consistently provided a reliable, easy-to-use environment that helps keep communication efficient and productive.

Pros

What I appreciate most about Google Meet is how simple and dependable it is. As a senior executive at iQor, my schedule is packed with meetings involving teams, clients, and partners across different locations, and Google Meet makes connecting with everyone effortless. The platform is intuitive, so there’s very little time spent dealing with technical issues or helping people get connected. I also value the strong audio and video quality, which helps conversations feel more natural and productive. Features like screen sharing, live captions, and seamless integration with Google Calendar make it easy to stay organized and keep meetings moving efficiently.

Cons

While Google Meet is a strong collaboration platform overall, there are a few areas where it could improve. As a senior executive, I occasionally find that some of the advanced meeting management and engagement features are not as robust as those offered by certain competing platforms. For larger meetings or executive presentations, having more customization options for participant interactions and meeting controls would be beneficial. There have also been instances where participants with slower internet connections experienced reduced video quality, which can impact the flow of discussions. Additionally, while the integration within the Google ecosystem is excellent, collaboration with users outside that ecosystem can sometimes require extra steps. These are relatively minor concerns, but addressing them would further enhance the overall user experience.

### "Reliable and Easy-to-Use Video Conferencing Solution"

June 16, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Meet has been very positive. It has provided a reliable and efficient way to conduct virtual meetings, collaborate with teams, and stay connected with colleagues and clients. The platform’s ease of use, strong integration with Google Workspace, and high-quality audio and video performance make it a valuable communication tool. I particularly appreciate the background features, seamless meeting scheduling, and accessibility across devices. Although there are occasional technical issues and some feature limitations for free users, Google Meet remains one of the most convenient and dependable video conferencing solutions available today.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Meet is its simplicity and reliability. The platform is very easy to use, allowing users to create and join meetings with just a few clicks. I appreciate the background options such as virtual backgrounds and blur effects, which help maintain privacy and professionalism during calls. The integration with Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive makes scheduling meetings and sharing files extremely convenient. Customization options for layouts, captions, and meeting controls further improve the experience. The audio and video quality are generally excellent, and the platform performs consistently across desktop and mobile devices. Considering the features available, it provides excellent value for money.

Cons

One aspect I liked least about Google Meet is that some advanced features are only available through paid Google Workspace plans. Customer support for free users can be limited, which may be frustrating when technical issues arise. Occasionally, users may experience connection instability, audio delays, or minor bugs during large meetings. The customization options, while useful, are not as extensive as those offered by some competing video conferencing platforms. Additionally, file management during meetings could be more robust, particularly when handling large collaborative projects.

### "Google Meet -A video Conferencing and Interactive Platform "

June 29, 2026

Pros

The product is easy to use and has good features which can allow group of participants to join the meeting .It has background options to manage the webinars meetings and classes . The product was very helpful in the situation of covid-19 for online classes of students and the product is value for money.

Cons

### "Quick, reliable meetings that just get the job done"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Overall it’s been reliable and simple for day to day work, I use it every day. Most people already know how to join so less time wasted explaining links. We run client demos, internal standups and training sessions without much trouble. Small hiccups with backgrounds, mobile and audio happen but not often. Integration with Google Workspace makes collaboration smoother for our team. Would recommend for teams who want something quick and dependable.

Pros

I use Google Meet for work for daily calls and it just opens fast, no issues. Joining meetings is easy, clients and partners never struggle with links. Video and audio stay pretty stable even when my home wifi is not great. Screen sharing and presenting a window is smooth, no weird freezes. Integration with Calendar and Gmail saves me time when scheduling. Recording and captions are handy for people who miss the meeting.

Cons

Some advanced settings are blocked and takes time to find them when you need. Background blur and effects sometimes behave weird on older laptops. Mobile app misses a couple desktop features and layout can be confusing. Large file sharing during a meeting is limited, you need Drive links instead. Occasional audio echo or lag on certain networks, needs manual fiddling. Permissions can be confusing, once I accidentally left a meeting open to anyone.

i had to present a big marketing strategy to a new client in usa. we are in india. travel was not possible. we used google meet. i shared my screen and showed them all the slides, the data, and the social media plan. the call was for 1 hour and it worked perfectly. the client was very happy and we got the project.

Pros

it is very easy to use. i just send a link and everyone can join. no need to download big software. i like screen sharing a lot. i can show my marketing reports and presentations to clients very easily. the calendar integration is also very good, it reminds me of my meetings. background change option is very useful during meetings.

Cons

sometimes the video quality is not very good, especially if many people are in the call. the free version has a time limit which is a problem for long meetings. also finding the recording after the meeting is sometimes confusing. it goes to my drive but i have to search for it.

### "Light-weight, simple and accessible virtual meetings"

May 18, 2026

5.0

Google meet is an incredibly valuable tool that we use daily - it is a big part of allowing us to collaborate as a remote team, and deliver our services through large, online education programs

Pros

It's a very simple virtual meeting platform - easy to set up meetings very quickly, and it's accessible to everyone individual and organisation and it's not intrusive; it doesn't ask you to install software like most other video meeting platforms. We use it for everyday internal meetings, but to also host all our virtual education workshops.

Cons

Every now and then it has issues where people will join a call, and their audio will not work. This happens across devices, locations, and businesses - and it's solved simply by leaving the call and joining again.

Pros

We use this for all of our internal meetings and most of our external meetings. It has a brilliant record function, a chat function, and it almost never glitches, which is why it is a turnkey solution for us.

Pros

Wow, everything was Google just works better, there’s a bit of a casual feeling to the interface which makes it seem less professional than teams, but the functionality is way better. They’re almost never glitches or issues with admitting people.

Cons

Pros

Cons

With its simple features, Google Meet reduces complexity and offers a seamless experience therefore no dislike.
