There's not a time limit for how long it can last so that is super helpful! During covid, google meet was our team's go to for video chatting. Cons Sometimes it did not work when somebody didn't have a gmail account. This proved to be an hinderance when trying to meet with parents of our students during the school day. Doesn't require any other desktop application and can function fully through a web browser (Chrome ideally). Pros Like that it's bundled into every Google Workspace subscription. Its a good video conferencing platform for SMB. You can do in meeting video, chat, file sharing, and screensharing. Natively integrates with Google Calendar and Gmail. And you can use it through any web browser. Cons There's no dedicated Google Meet "desktop" app. Its only available through a web browser (recommeded is Google Chrome). The UI is modern looking but at the same time isnt super intuitive to use. Its also really annoying how to set up a dedicated "Google Meets Room". Cons I am not sure if this app has a con but one thing that does not work well for me is the recording. There were few times I conducted interviews with Google meet and it does not record the face of the caller and also the audio.
