I think the layout is more visually appealing and also easier to use. It is more intuitive an we use this platform daily. I can't recommend it enough. Pros I really enjoy the features it has on the call. It feels easier to use than other platforms that do the same thing and I feel like I find myself not having tech issues as much compared to other softwares. I’ve used it in multiple one on ones, multiple small group meetings, and also multiple large group meetings, up to 150 participants. It is my go to video conferencing software, the one that my business uses, and the one that I preferred to use personally as well Pros Google Meet works seamlessly with Gmail and all related Google apps. It has a multitude of backgrounds, now including some video backgrounds, or backgrounds with movement. It is easy to share your screen, it is easy to invite participants by email or by phone. When you have good bandwidth, it is as good as any other video conferencing software, and better than many others. Cons The only issue with Google meet is that, compared to zoom meetings, it requires more bandwidth. But if everyone in the meeting has consistent Wifi or wired Internet, it is very good. You can screen share to your employees/members and you can schedule meetings very easily. Great quality during the meetings as far as audio and video and it is a very user-friendly interface. Pros I LOVE Google Meet. Honestly, anything Google is awesome. The chatting is super easy, screen sharing, the video and audio quality is great and the fact that you can record the conversation is also very helpful for refencing things from previous conversations. You can have small meetings, or large ones. Cons There are not many cons I've come across for Google Meet. Pros I like how Google Meet makes communication accessible virtually and is a HIPAA compliant site to complete private medical appointments as well. Cons I have had numerous experiences where Google Meet glitches and kicks me out of the meeting due to login related issues, and I need to re log-in to my Google Account to access the meeting. While these glitches are not often, I use the software enough that I have experienced them a few times.
