Ability to contact many people from different departments at my fingertips. For more personal conversations, I can video chat or send text through chat to get my point across on video.

Pros

Easy to use, UI very user friendly, fast. Can use Video feature as well as chat. Centralized location for all contacts to interact.

Cons

Need to have a Google account to use, cost based service. Not many people are aware of the software.

It's really convenient to use. I connect with my bosses and co-workers so easily. And some times I use it as a virtual meeting with my work people

Cons

The cons is that it could use a update. It need like a feature where you can add people directly. That's really all for me. It's a good system

Lo utilizzavo a lavoro. Ora solo per chiamate tra amici. A mio avviso non adeguato per lavoro ma per fare chiamate veloci con amici si.

Pros

Veloce e facile per creare subito un meeting

Cons

A volte si blocca lo screen sharing ed è necessario riavviare ls presentazione. Se non si ha un account aziendale o a pagamento il meeting può durare massimo 1 ora.

We use Hangouts to streamline communication within our office and to easily collaborate on projects together.

Pros

I have really benefited from how easy it is to use. Have a Google account? Then you have a Hangouts account. It has been easy to integrate new employees into our Hangouts as most have an existing Google profile.

Cons

Sometimes, after updates the software can be a bit laggy, but that is about it.

Pros

As a remote employee, Google Hangouts allows me to "meet" with my team and receive training without having to go to the office. It's easy to use and to invite and schedule people to a call, and it's easy to switch between video and texting features. You can also connect with almost a dozen people at a time. It's also very easy to use from your mobile device. Many people use this personally for "chat" purposes, so it's a comfortable app for most. It requires no planning to get the call/hangout started, and it a huge time saver and must have for remote/dispersed teams.

Cons

The screen share option is one of my favorite features, yet it doesn't always run smoothly, especially if I'm not on a high speed wifi connection.

The fact that you can have a meeting just with a google account is definitely a plus

Pros

One of the most useful programs for online meetings.It is professional and very complete, allowing you a lot of resources such as screen sharing, allowing many people to take part simply by having a google account.

Cons

The only con i can find is if there are many oropel, the maximum time is one hour

Pros

I am a person who is constantly talking to several people at the same time because of my work, and having a free chat application linked to my google account really helps me to be connected with my clients at any time. The interface is very nice and simple for anyone who starts using it and the video call option seems an excellent additional bonus.

Cons

The only negative thing I can mention is that it does not allow sending multimedia or PDF files, something that I do not see coherent with the technological times we are living.

Pros

Google Hangouts makes it easy to voice or video chat with any number of people. It is easy and fun to use for people of all ages. All you need is Gmail, which is free.

Cons

Google Hangouts can be a bit laggy if you do not have very fast internet. It doesn't seem to work as smoothly when I travel abroad.

Pros

\- The quality of sound and video on Google meet is above all other similar applications - You can instantly rejoin incase you leave the meeting by mistake - Works and synchronise well with other google applications

\- Due to good video and sound quality, this application requires a good internet connection

Pros

I love that this is integrated to Gmail because it limits the need of an extra tab open or another program to be downloaded. Because of that alone, this beats any other form of communication between employees.

Cons

It could look better. It's not aesthetically pleasing to me, but that's minor.

Not great. It's more of a hassle with e-learning than it is positive and has brought a lot of stress to teachers and students that are missing key instruction

Pros

I liked that it seamlessly was able to be controlled by Google Admin and that I was able to see the quality tools for each Meet individually to help students and teachers see where the issues were in each Meet. Every Meet is super easy to set up, which made scheduling very easy to sync with Google calendar.

Cons

It constantly kicks students off the meet if there are more than 10 people on, which is far less than the average class size. Teachers have had to ask that students leave their cameras and microphones muted so that they have a better chance of not being kicked out of the meet. It is so slow and glitches like crazy when there are too many people on, and sometimes the microphone doesn't work even though the permissions are allowed on Chrome and the microphone is functioning.

Overall it's one of the best app to use within an organisation as it makes collaborations easy as it allows people to create groups.

Pros

Google Hangouts is integrated within the gmail so it is easier to find your gmail contacts through hangouts. It makes working fun as I receive messages faster. Also it allows users to create groups, so you can use those to create groups with your colleagues.

Cons

One problem is that it doesn't have a desktop app, so have to use the web browser to access hangouts. Also it doesn't have any option to edit or delete sent messages.

It is like Hangouts, but for Business. It doesn't have many features, but gets the basics right. Dial-in options are limited and excludes India. Should be good enough for internal users and businesses using G-suite.

Pros

It is just the same Google Hangouts interface. It is very simple and straight forward to use- has a good UI. If you use Chrome, then there is no need to install or download any separate standalone applications. Integration with the G-suite has its own advantages. It has the usual features of screen sharing and supporting multiple participants.

Cons

There is no option for virtual backgrounds. The participant limit is only 250 at highest tier plan. There is no broadcast option or features like muting all participants, raising hands, asking questions, screen annotations, etc. The interface needs to improve as actual visible area for shared screen is small for rest of participants when someone is sharing their screen. Chrome is recommended browser and it consumes significant system resources. Dial-in options are limited and excludes a big country like India.

I use hangouts everyday for work. It has made my job easier and more enjoyable. I also use it outside of work to catch up with old friends. Very easy way to keep in touch and to chat while doing other things as well.

Pros

Very easy to communicate visually through the web. User friendly. Allows for group meetings. Sounds quality it great.

Cons

Everything depends on your internet connection. Not great with anything over 10 people.

Google Hangouts is used for video-conference calls for employees at home or anywhere.It is user friendly and easy to connect. Everything is linked to associated Google Account, so it is quickly to keep its online contact services. Google Hangouts also provides the same function that can be used on mobile devices.

Pros

It's ease to use.It works well on not just mobile devices, but also on a desktop, which is great for typing fast. It's so convenient to send photos and any photos shared through Google Hangouts.It also syncs with gmail system, so my contacts are in hand right from the beginning.

Cons

People can't see the message if someone posts in the chat, unless they click on it. Screen sharing can be improved too. It should be able to go full screen. Sometimes it's difficult to view other's screen because the view is limited.

Ive been using hangouts for many years now, and ive been very happy with it. I love the group video chat as well as being able to make phone calls!

Pros

I like that i can use this on the go on my laptop instead of texting. It's so much faster to communicate with any of my friends and contacts. It archives messages which is also a plus!

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit slow to load, but that might be my connection.

Ho apprezzato molto l’interfaccia di google meet, semplice e intuitiva (caratteristica comune a tutti i prodotti google). Sono presenti una vasta gamma di funzionalità per rendere il software il più versatile possibile. Utilizzabile sia su pc che su smartphone, google meet è uno dei migliori software che ho provato per le videoconferenze. L’integrazione con gli altri prodotti google è utilissima, anche a scopi didattici (esempio google jamboard, una lavagna interattiva integrata in meet)

Cons

Unico problema riscontrato durante l’uso di gmail è la limitazione nel numero di partecipanti alle videocall.

I love using Google Meet. Great software that allows me to conduct business meetings and connect in the virtual world.

Pros

My husband and I are the founders of Keto Hope Dealers and were previously using Zoom. However, we have had so many issues with their software that we decided to switch over and use Google Meet permanently. We use them for our business meetings and whenever we are needing to share our screen with our team on important tasks that are needing to be done. Efficient and Inexpensive.

Cons

I wish there was a way for it not to slow down my computer during the meetings. I noticed that if I am sharing my screen it tends to slow down all of my other tabs that are currently open. It does not happen all the time though.

Super simple OS agnostic secure chat platform that works as effectively for non-tech family members as technical teams at work. Ultra reliable with useful history integration with the Google ecosystem.

Cons

I'm not sure if Hangouts uses the same codecs and protocols that make Duo so great on poor cellular connections because Google Duo seems to win in these circumstances.

It's easy to use out of the box - no installation needed (works in web browser). It's also available on mobile devices as separate app so when you use it on the same google account all chat history, contacts etc are shared across each device.
