I use it every day and hardly ever run into problems. I really like how it’s built right into Google Calendar, so I don’t have to deal with creating and sharing meeting links like you do with Zoom. Pros \- imbedded into google calendar - not too laggy - easy simple and nice looking UI - free to use Google Meet is honestly pretty easy to use and gets the job done! It connects right into Google Calendar so joining meetings is super quick and convenient. It usually runs smoothly without much lag which is nice, and the layout is clean and simple so you don’t have to figure anything out. It's also free, which makes it a great option for everyday calls. Cons The mic can be a bit unreliable sometimes, with random connectivity issues that can get annoying (and require headphones). Occasionally you have to restart your computer just to fix it.
