### "Excel for the win"

December 8, 2025

5.0

I love using this software. It’s easy to use and pretty much Elle’s explanatory when creating a workbook.

Pros

I love the templates. It gives me endless possibilities for things that I need. I love that I can use excel on my mobile phone.

Cons

Getting formulas wrong when setting up a workbook with calculations. That just takes practise. Very easy to learn.

### "I don't want to use other add-on programs for shortcuts"

March 16, 2026

5.0

Pros

It has all the features for financial modeling. Data tables and pivot tables are especially useful. Sensitivity analysis and data organization are easy. I can customize it for any situation easily.

Cons

I wish I can customize shortcuts easily in Excel. Right now, I have to use other programs like Macabacus to change shortcuts. If Excel has its own shortcut setting, I don't need to use other software. It would be much better.

### "Microsoft Excellent"

March 5, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Excel has been extremely positive. It has allowed me to create job total cost sheets and track individual job profits with ease and also saves time. It is also very convenient that it is integrated into other programs that I use, such as Quickbooks Online where I can export lists and reports to create my excel sheets. This has been a life-saver at work and I know I have only just touched the surface of the available features this program has to offer.

Pros

Microsoft Excel is an astounding program that has so many useful charting features to keep my work organized and my progress clearly laid out. I like the sheer magnitude of options this program allows you to use to create custom sheets.

Cons

The only thing I can think of that I like least about Excel is just that I occasionally run out of memory when I have multiple large files open and working on at once.

Microsoft Excel is a great deal less restrictive and so much more intuitive than Google Sheets.

### "A Legend Among Software"

July 11, 2025

5.0

I have been using spreadsheets since Lotus 1-2-3. Microsoft Excel is a legend in the business software realm and is an excellent tool for crunching numbers.

Pros

Microsoft Excel is a great tool with many features for creating spreadsheets. I have been a user for years and have also taught Excel to many students. I would consider it a piece of software that everyone should know how to use.

Cons

Microsoft Excel has many features and the average user will only use a fraction of those features. The nice thing is if your Excel skills grow, there are features that you can learn to expand your spreadsheet functionality.

### "Strong Data Organization Tool"

June 6, 2025

5.0

It is a great product for data organization, I use it regularly and it is a standard in most industries. I do wish it was a bit easier to collaborate on documents, though.

Pros

The ability to work through large data sets and organize data for analysis is the biggest advantage of Excel. This coupled with the ability to make tables and charts of information sharing has made for each day-to-day organization of financial metrics.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to Excel. Having new team members, or ones that may not be very tech-savvy, sometimes makes it hard to share excel files and have collaboration.

### "Microsoft Excel Review"

July 9, 2025

5.0

Pros

I love how many things you can do with Excel, including formulas, graphs, and more. It is also very versatile with different programs so it's nice having a system that most programs can integrate into.

Cons

Something I'm not too fond of with Excel is the difficulty with some of the formulas. Usually, the descriptions for each formula aren't a huge help, so it takes a google search to really understand how to use a formula. Thankfully I took an Excel course in college, and I use it daily, but there are still times that I need to google how to do or find something.

It didn't seem like there were as many features in Google Sheets, as there are in Microsoft Excel. I used them simultaneously and could see differences.

### "Organization for values or even creating your own reference log!"

January 19, 2026

5.0

It gives you an organized access to simply input documentation or values to upkeep your work on a day-to-day basis.

Pros

Microsoft excel is a self-taught tool on how to balance your work whether it be finance, clients data, keeping up with provider contacts or simply just having easy access to information.

Cons

Learning the workbook fully can take some time. It becomes another skill to add to your point of referencing information.

### "Powerful tool for data, but can be tricky at times"

September 2, 2025

5.0

Overall, Excel is an essential tool for managing and analyzing data. Despite the learning curve and occasional crashes, it’s extremely powerful and reliable for both work and personal use.

Pros

I really like how versatile Excel is. It makes organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data easy, and the formulas and functions save so much time for calculations.

Cons

The interface can be confusing at first, and some advanced features take time to learn. It can also crash occasionally when working with very large files.

### "Excel Review"

March 9, 2026

5.0

My overall experience is an ongoing one. I use excel everyday as I work. I used it to do my garnishments.

Pros

I love excel and all its functions. It is easy to use if you take a class to learn all the functions. But it makes life easier.

Cons

It becomes hard to use if you do not know how to make equations. It is hard to use if you have never used it or taken a class on it.

Overall experience has been really good. Learning how to apply the formulas can be a challenge but the overall experience is good.

Pros

It is very useful for tracking financial status of a project. The auto features and formulas that can be used are very helpful and save time.

Cons

Understanding and implementing the formulas can sometimes be complicated. I find that this is specifically a challenge for new users.

### "Excel: Excellent product"

January 22, 2026

5.0

MS excel is the pioneer of data entry. Although there could be flaws and human errors are possible, but there are people like me who use it on the daily basis.

Pros

Excel was the 1st thing I used for data entry, data management and data visualization like graphs, charts. So, this still is my favorite features of excel. Also, the ability to use was quite unique in Excel.

Cons

Least liked: Highly susceptible to human error. for instance: if you use a wrong formula, the whole result will be wrong.

### "Dark mode in browser."

June 26, 2025

4.0

I have used Excel at multiple companies and for personal use as well. I am constantly finding new functions and tricks to using it more efficiently. It is pretty easy to use base functions, and nice that there is so much more to learn when you need it.

Pros

It does what I want it to do. It is fairly intuitive to use and I don't find myself having a lot of trouble understanding how to do things.

Cons

It might be a small complaint, but I like to use dark mode whenever possible and the in browser version does not have dark mode. I had to do a lot of searching to find out that it isn't an option, which is odd considering that Words in browser version does offer dark mode.

### "Core spreadsheet tool for financial modeling."

December 3, 2025

5.0

Excel let the company do deep cash-flow tracking for clients, plan budgets, and perform what-if scenarios, providing a trusted way to test recommendations before taking those into client meetings.

Pros

Microsoft Excel remained indispensable; flexible formulae and pivot tables allowed her team to model scenarios, track their clients’ portfolios, and present clear financial summaries.

Cons

Complex workbooks go fragile, version confusion and formula mistakes still occur; in particular, if numerous advisors touch the same spreadsheets under time pressure.

December 20, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience is positive as we use to excel to make the schedules within the offices. We use excel to maintain a clean and easy to read schedule.

Pros

What I like most about excel is the ability to make the monthly work schedules and to make it organized and easy to understand.

Cons

With Microsoft Excel, I currently do not have any least likes as it is a software that allows me to keep and maintain a clean and professional schedule.

### "It gets the job done. "

July 3, 2025

4.0

I’m getting better at using it, after years of avoiding it. I’m not an advanced user, but I can filter and export out of it well.

Pros

I use Excel daily for filtering and presenting information out of other data platforms. It’s quick and easy when you know how.

Cons

When you don’t know what you’re doing in excel it can be a really daunting program to use. It can be pretty confusing.

### "Microsoft Excel"

November 17, 2025

I have just always used excel and l find it convenient and easy to use. and there is still so much to lear, so much l don't know. excel is like that one good product you have in a household, and if you don't bother to learn it, you will buy things you don't need yet they are already there "hidden features of excel that come with more learning"

Pros

Value for money Statistical analysis pro Management of big data sets Ease of use All the above are the top features of excel. In this world how an one survive without excel ? Tabulation, charting, reporting, cashflows, monthly budgets, graphing, calculating, it all starts in excel.

Cons

Well its either you understand and love excel or you hate it, because some of its features can be complex. But for any average person intending to use excel for simple things, this is great,

### "Robust analytics tool with plenty of options and features"

September 18, 2025

5.0

As a data analyst, I use it regularly for organizing data, performing calculations, and creating reports, and I appreciate how versatile and powerful it is for both simple and complex tasks

Pros

I like the wide range of built-in functions and tools—like pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data visualization features—that make it easy to analyze large amounts of information quickly.

Cons

If there would be a drawback, I'd have to say some of the more advanced features can be tricky to learn at first, but once I got comfortable with them, they became invaluable for improving my productivity

### "Excel, le tableur par excellence "

March 13, 2025

5.0

Inoltre, sarebbe utile implementare i grafici disponibili. Infine, i dati basati su tecnologia bing dovrebbero essere implementati
