### "I cannot live without it."

June 16, 2025

5.0

Microsoft Excel is one of the most useful software applications that has ever been developed, especially for accountants.

Pros

From the initial beginner to the more advanced level user Microsoft Excel is a great toolset for almost anything.

Cons

Some of the advanced functions can take a little time to implement. Also locating errors in larger spreadsheet can sometimes give you a headache.

### "Worth getting."

November 5, 2025

5.0

Worth the money, may take a bit of getting used to navigating the program. Once you are familiar with it, you'll never stop using it.

Pros

I love everything about Excel. Customer support is as easy as a search for what you want to do, and the program is powerful for working through data. The templates are generally basic and will do what you need them to do. I also can make quilt designs with Excel.

Cons

Moving between Excel and Google Sheets can sometime cause issues with the data, but I've only noticed this in files with more complex formulas across multiple sheets.

### "Very Nice HR tool"

March 29, 2026

5.0

Pros

It’s honestly so nice and this is how I do a lot of the tracking for our employees. I was able to build a sheet to track so many different things and macros have saved my life!

Cons

I don’t have much to complain about! The only thing that I get frustrated with is trying to figure out functions but I can seem to figure things out eventually because of chat as well.

### "Microsoft Excel gets the job done "

December 14, 2025

5.0

Overall, Excel is a useful tool in our small business. We find that while training new hires it can present challenges but it is a comprehensive look at our reporting needs.

Pros

Microsoft excel is essential for managing a small business. We use this for reporting, expense management and even staff scheduling.

Cons

Microsoft excel isn’t the most versatile software; it has reporting capabilities but a higher learning curve than competitive software.

Overall great. Makes calculations at work very easy and speeds up processes as a result. Included in Office package so not too expensive.

Pros

Large variety of functions for mathematical, statistical, logical, and financial analysis. Great for doing calculations at work.

Cons

Can be challenging to learn and get used to. Can seem tricky for beginners. When files become large it can slow down.

### "We use Excel every day! "

November 30, 2025

5.0

Overall Excel is great for us, it can be used for business or personal use. You can import and export data from other software.

Pros

Excel is one of the top products we used for the company I work for. Now a days people are using other products but we decided to stay with Excel as it meets all our needs and we are familiar with it.

Cons

I don't think there is anything that I dislike necessarily, sometimes it can be little complicated to remember the formulas but nothing you can't look up and figure out.

### "The best spreadsheet software out there!"

March 20, 2026

5.0

Love it! I have been using Excel for over 7 years, and I love all the keyboard shortcuts and abilities to manipulate and present financial data.

Pros

I love Excel. The keyboard shortcuts make modeling fun and efficient. I've only scratched the service with its capabilities.

Cons

It can be difficult handling larger files with lots of data. Extra RAM or turning off automatic calculations are necessary to avoid crashing.

### "Microsoft Excel is Good"

November 9, 2025

My overall experience with Microsoft excel has been a good one with no complains. And the pricing is a bit fair.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use and navigate around excel plus the variety of templates available to choose from. No bugs and issues.

Cons

Using Microsoft excel on mobile seem more limited than that of a system(computer). Customer support respond is a bit slow.

### "Excel is a very productive tool to use for calculating large amounts of data."

March 10, 2025

5.0

Overall, I love using Excel for completing large amounts of calculations quickly. I use it for comparing lists of information as well, to compare if two columns are the same or not. The excels can be edited also, which I like, since that helps me organize my data.

Pros

I use this Microsoft product the most during work hours. This is due to the many calculations I need to do for tasks. I also use it to compare lists by using different formulas from online. This product is a very convenient tool for more efficiency and saves a lot of time.

Cons

I don't like when I copy and paste data from another website, it pastes incorrectly at times due to the formatting. However, I fix the pasted data by adjusting the information manually. And its also not much of an issue since there are different ways to paste the information and it can be changes as needed.

### "General population can handle a basic spreadsheet"

November 25, 2025

4.0

I personally have used Excel for years and like the simplicity of it. I mainly personally use it for easy projects that I am the spreadsheet creator. However, I have been a contributor on large spreadsheets that someone else created.

Pros

Value for your money - not too expensive to use and pretty much everyone has some working knowledge of this application.

Cons

Excel can be vulnerable to human and formula errors which can be a problem if working on a project with many contributing participants.

### "Great product for spreadsheets"

August 11, 2025

5.0

Overall it's been exactly what I've needed for what I've wanted. Great product, and pretty powerful, although not as powerful as some of the larger data processing tools.

Pros

It's the go to spreadsheet product for a reason. New features, like pivot tables and index match formula's, make it a great product for accountants.

Cons

Takes some learning, but there are a lot of popular videos and trainings that can get you up to speed on some of the more advanced features quickly.

### "My experience with Excel"

January 22, 2025

5.0

A pretty good one, I've done all kind of works with excel and there have been very few times that I have felt like there was a problem with excel and not something that I didn't know how to do.

Pros

How simple it is to use, super user oriented in a way that everything is easy to find and use.

Cons

That sometimes you can face collaboration challenges given how in today's world other tools are better at that

### "Microsoft Excel Review"

January 26, 2026

4.0

Microsoft Excel is a core tool in my daily work for financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. It allows me to structure complex financial data clearly and maintain full control over calculations and assumptions.

Pros

Excel is extremely flexible and powerful for financial modeling and data analysis. Pivot tables, formulas, and charts make it easy to analyze large datasets and support decision-making. It integrates well with other Microsoft tools, which is essential in a large organization.

Cons

Managing multiple versions of the same file can sometimes be challenging when several stakeholders are involved. Advanced features require strong knowledge to avoid errors.

### "Good for simple tasks, difficult if you need to go deeper"

November 26, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like how you can organize and analyze data automatically, it is very fast since you start using it until you get some results

Cons

For complex tasks it requires a huge amount of previous knowledge about the app, and that is going to lead you to take some classes or studying before being able to use it profesionally

### "CFO lives on excel both personally & professionally"

July 10, 2025

5.0

Have worked with Excel for 20+ years daily, and rely on it heavily in my Finance role, but also in my personal life. It's one of the applications I can't live without.

Pros

I have used Excel for so many years that it feels like I can't live without it. It's reliable, and works well.

Cons

I work with some people who have never used Excel, and I don't find it to be the most user friendly for beginners. Formula help tools are designed for someone who knows how to use them etc.

### "Would be perfect if all versions were compatibles between them."

July 7, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Excel is a breeze. It is an indispensable application in a computer since 1984 to my concern.

Pros

Excel is a powerful tool with all the features you can expect from a spreadsheet application. All you need to manage your budget and more.

Cons

The compatibility with previous versions, especially macros, is a problem. It is worse between Windows and Mac versions. After many years they didn’t resolve the issue, too bad.

### "Easy, beginner friendly and powerful"

January 18, 2025

5.0

It is beginner-friendly. This tool would be the first step in getting familiar with data analysis. But it can't do powerful complex processing but works well for daily tasks and small datasets.

Pros

Its interface is one of the best. It is not very overwhelming, I have been using this since I was in school and even back then I had no issue using it. It's recent Python integration has been good so far. The best part is that it automatically suggests to me the best graphs, charts, and pivot tables for data analytics and past saved formats. It really is a great beginner tool and a one-stop solution. It has become a tool I go to for most of the things.

Cons

It really lags and even freezes in cases of large datasets. Even with VBA, it still needs improvement. It is a little bit basic when you compare it to other data visualization tools.

### "Excel Review"

February 19, 2025

5.0

Overall Excel is my preferred spreadsheet system, I use this platform almost daily for work and personal agendas.

Pros

The universal adoption of excel makes this my preferred method of sharing structuring information and managing logistics. I love the collaboration aspects and ease of adoption.

Cons

I think that when working with larger data sets in a data analysis context this is an inferior product to other offerings. Additionally, the differences between Macbook excel and windows is absurd and adds to user confusion. I highly wish that excel has universal shortcuts and additional extensions for Mac Excel.

### "The Most Practical Data Management Software"

January 15, 2025

5.0

I started working with excel years ago. The practicality of this software is quite amazing. No matter what level of data entry or spreadsheet building you are, you can easily start entering, organizing, managing and storing data. Whenever I am working on any project, business or personal, or even doing daily tasks such a planning a trip, I like to have all my data in front of me and Excel makes it easily possible. As my fluency with data entry and analytics grew, I learned more and more features of Excel. I still like to watch tutorials and learn more about it. Excel also has so many cool shortcuts that can save you quite a bit of time and allow multitasking. It takes productivity to a whole new level. I also love the graphs. There are so many options for creating graphs and visualizing data that come handy during presentations.

Pros

My favorite feature of Excel is the beautiful graphs and data visualization tools. You can create graphs really fast with correct data entry.

Cons

There is a learning curve to master working with Excel. I like to learn new features and do different things on its workspace. I wish Excel provided their own tutorial.

### "My Go-To for anything IT"

June 2, 2025

5.0

Love it. It is my favorite Microsoft product and I don't go a single day without using it. I usually have it open and Minimized

Pros

Excel is my lifeline for anything at work. Need a form? Excel. Need logs? Excel. Need inventory? Excel. I use it for everything. Formatting is very easy and I prefer Excel over Word.

Cons

Some functions that I would think to be simple take some repeat in depth struggles. I have noticed it having a hard time opening on some PCs lately.

Completely satisfied. Lifetime user! I've tried similar software programs and none are near as good.

Pros

I love how customizable everything is with Microsoft Excel! Whether I'm organizing a kid's birthday party, planning a vacation, or managing employees, Excel is my go to software.

Cons

Sometimes it makes my computer run slow if I leave the program open for a long time.
