Although there could be flaws and human errors are possible, but there are people like me who use it on the daily basis. Pros Excel was the 1st thing I used for data entry, data management and data visualization like graphs, charts. So, this still is my favorite features of excel. Also, the ability to use was quite unique in Excel. Cons Least liked: Highly susceptible to human error. for instance: if you use a wrong formula, the whole result will be wrong. It is also very versatile with different programs so it's nice having a system that most programs can integrate into. Cons Something I'm not too fond of with Excel is the difficulty with some of the formulas. Usually, the descriptions for each formula aren't a huge help, so it takes a google search to really understand how to use a formula. Thankfully I took an Excel course in college, and I use it daily, but there are still times that I need to google how to do or find something. It can be complex, and it does take some effort to become proficient and take advantage of some of the features. Pretty much anything it doesn't do natively can be done with VBA macros Cons The one thing that absolutely drives me crazy is automatically changing large numbers into scientific notation. For the life of me I can't figure out why that would make that a default setting with no option to turn it off.
