### "Great product for spreadsheets"

August 11, 2025

5.0

Overall it's been exactly what I've needed for what I've wanted. Great product, and pretty powerful, although not as powerful as some of the larger data processing tools.

Pros

It's the go to spreadsheet product for a reason. New features, like pivot tables and index match formula's, make it a great product for accountants.

Cons

Takes some learning, but there are a lot of popular videos and trainings that can get you up to speed on some of the more advanced features quickly.

### "Microsoft Excel Review"

January 26, 2026

4.0

Microsoft Excel is a core tool in my daily work for financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. It allows me to structure complex financial data clearly and maintain full control over calculations and assumptions.

Pros

Excel is extremely flexible and powerful for financial modeling and data analysis. Pivot tables, formulas, and charts make it easy to analyze large datasets and support decision-making. It integrates well with other Microsoft tools, which is essential in a large organization.

Cons

Managing multiple versions of the same file can sometimes be challenging when several stakeholders are involved. Advanced features require strong knowledge to avoid errors.

### "The Ultimate Spreadsheet program"

Cons

The additional features tend to be buried and hard to understand for those that have used the program for many years

### "Good for simple tasks, difficult if you need to go deeper"

November 26, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like how you can organize and analyze data automatically, it is very fast since you start using it until you get some results

Cons

For complex tasks it requires a huge amount of previous knowledge about the app, and that is going to lead you to take some classes or studying before being able to use it profesionally

### "Microsoft Excellent"

March 5, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Excel has been extremely positive. It has allowed me to create job total cost sheets and track individual job profits with ease and also saves time. It is also very convenient that it is integrated into other programs that I use, such as Quickbooks Online where I can export lists and reports to create my excel sheets. This has been a life-saver at work and I know I have only just touched the surface of the available features this program has to offer.

Pros

Microsoft Excel is an astounding program that has so many useful charting features to keep my work organized and my progress clearly laid out. I like the sheer magnitude of options this program allows you to use to create custom sheets.

Cons

The only thing I can think of that I like least about Excel is just that I occasionally run out of memory when I have multiple large files open and working on at once.

Microsoft Excel is a great deal less restrictive and so much more intuitive than Google Sheets.

Hyper functional software with a plethora of practical applications for both personal and professional needs.

Cons

Extremely large learning curve. I have been using excel for nearly a decade and there is still so much I don’t understand how to do with this tool.

### "Same Concept New Features"

April 30, 2026

5.0

It's been alright. Been using the software for 25 years, and honestly not much as changed. Same concept, new features.

Pros

Like with any Microsoft product, Excel is an industry standard and a valuable application. Microsoft customer support is solid, tons of templates, easy to use, and its easy to navigate the GUI. Compatible on mobile devices as well. Not too many bugs.

Cons

It's expensive, like all other Microsoft products are. Since its an industry standard, you have no choice but to use it.

### "MS Excel: The Only Datasheet Program You Need"

May 8, 2026

5.0

In sum, MS Excel is super intuitive, has helpful and accessible templates, and allows for nearly infinite data customization.

Pros

MS Excel is extremely easy to use and navigate and has been very easy to use on my phone as well. The functions and calculations are easy to understand and the table templates save me tons of time.

Cons

While it is easy to use Excel on my own, collaborating with others can be difficult, especially if there are bugs that affect the screen for each use (e.g. freezing issues). Overall, however, there are very few issues to note.

### "J’aime Excel"

March 25, 2026

### "CFO lives on excel both personally & professionally"

July 10, 2025

5.0

Have worked with Excel for 20+ years daily, and rely on it heavily in my Finance role, but also in my personal life. It's one of the applications I can't live without.

Pros

I have used Excel for so many years that it feels like I can't live without it. It's reliable, and works well.

Cons

I work with some people who have never used Excel, and I don't find it to be the most user friendly for beginners. Formula help tools are designed for someone who knows how to use them etc.

### "Excel, le tableur par excellence "

March 13, 2025

5.0

### "Would be perfect if all versions were compatibles between them."

July 7, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Excel is a breeze. It is an indispensable application in a computer since 1984 to my concern.

Pros

Excel is a powerful tool with all the features you can expect from a spreadsheet application. All you need to manage your budget and more.

Cons

The compatibility with previous versions, especially macros, is a problem. It is worse between Windows and Mac versions. After many years they didn’t resolve the issue, too bad.
