Power BI has helped improve reporting and daily operations by providing clear, real-time dashboards. It gives our team better control and visibility over unit movement and accessory tracking. It does take time to fully learn, but once implemented, it becomes an essential tool for operational management and decision-making. **Pros:** Power BI is a very powerful tool for data visualization and reporting. I like how it connects easily with multiple data sources and allows you to create interactive dashboards. In our case, we use it as a main operational dashboard to track accessories and monitor real-time movement of units, which helps a lot with visibility and decision-making. The integration with Microsoft tools like Excel and Teams is also a big advantage. **Cons:** The learning curve can be challenging, especially when working with DAX formulas or complex data models. Performance can slow down with large datasets, and sharing reports sometimes requires additional licensing. In a teams call, we were able to interactvely answer questions about safety in their fleet and review risk hotspots. **Pros:** I liked that it allowed our team to visualize the detailed vehicle telemetry and driver evaluator notes on an arcgis map. That was an aha moment for many of our clients, and they realized they wanted us to be their road safety experts. **Cons:** The pricing of the top tier (allowing the reports to be publically accessed without a user login) was very cost prohibitive. We would have adopted Power BI fully much sooner if that pricing tier wasnt so high.
