Pros File sharing is an easy process and we've not found any difficulties using the service. We've used WeTransfer for several months now and the the service to be reliable and efficient. Pros WeTransfer offers their user a super-simple online interface, and offer both a Free and Pro version. The free version allows for sending files up to 2GB in size, while the Pro version is ten times that. In addition the Pro version offers storage space, and syncing for teams over multiple devices. The pricing is very competitive and really affordable. Cons There are no real dislikes to the interface or platform, it being online, easily accessible and really easy to use and navigate. When I was satisfied with the free version, I then upgraded to the Pro version as the free version limits the size to 2GB per file. WeTransfer is an extremely easy to use Cloud Storage as well as Super Fast File Transfer utility. No data loss was observed during file transfer and speeds were acceptable. Pro gives 20GB limit and a massive 1 TB cloud storage data. For all this, I will never mind spending $12 a month. Cons Quite obviously the biggest negative comes with the free version as it deletes files after 7 days. This makes absolutely no sense to me. I mean WeTransfer is already having 2GB limit on the free version, but this weekly limit is simply pushing you to pay them for Proversion as the shared link expires in a week. And because of the extensive storage space, I can send huge files without a long wait. Pros What I love about this software is how easy it is to use and how simple is the general interface. Also I must say that the upload time is extremely fast in comparison to other similar softwares. Cons One of the things I like least about this software is that I usually get 3 emails informing me about the fact that the message was sent, and that some one has opened it in addition to the confirmation code. And if I send the file to myself - I get 4 emails. For me it's a bit too much. Maybe there's a way to minimize the number of emails sent. But the best side and main difference of WeTransfer is that there is no disturbing ads or pop up windows while downloading files. I have tried many similar platforms to WeTransfer and once I came across even eight pop up windows while trying to download file. This is very disturbing and main reason of customer loose. My second reason of choosing WeTransfer was speed which amazed me while uploading. It uses all the resources in order to upload files in maximum speed. I strongly recommend WeTransfer to every kind of companies if they want reliable and efficient file sharing platform. Cons There are some features missing which I want to see in the WeTransfer soon. One of them and the most important one is collaboration feature which can save time and increase productivity in the company. We've tried a few options over the years, and we often bump against clients who get frustrated at other tools. WeTransfer is simple, does exactly what it says it does, and does it easily. Pros It's so very simple for transferring large files - we often send large design or print files or photo galleries to clients or to vendors, and WeTransfer is just by far the easiest tool to get them over to anyone who needs them. It's also great as a tool to get clients to send us content - the easier the better, as many of our clients are not technologically savvy, and everyone seems to be able to use WeTransfer without many questions or issues. Cons It's just a one-time transfer, so it's hard to track if the client comes back and says they didn't receive the email. We have had to do some troubleshooting (usually getting them to look in their spam folder) but it'd be great to be able to have an account and log in and see all the transfers we conducted. WeTransfer solved those issues. Pros WeTransfer is the most user-friendly file sharing platform out there. It is great that the sender and receiver do not need a paid account or special permissions in order to access the files being shared. We rarely have more that 2GB of data to send, making WeTransfer our go-to option. Cons We have no complaints whatsoever. Having the download link expire after a week creates urgency. It's great! Cons I actually love wetransfer so no complaints at all. but I always let my clients know if you are using free the file is only available for few days. so make sure to download it and save it. The browser is the interface. When logged in to the premium version you have the 20 GB transfer. In the free version a login speeds up sending files. Pros The fact that there is a free 2GB option is great. Easy to use and a no brainer. For bigger files and more functionality the paid version is available. We opted for that just for a couple of months but been using it for many years now. There is always a requirement to send files, big ones but also files that are now allowed by email software. Cons The free version has ads that can be a bit in your face. The 2GB limit requires chopping up files in smaller chunks with some compression software if you do not want to pay for the premium version. Reason for choosing WeTransfer We trans fer easy of use was key. No software to install, just a browser.
