All of those 10 min calls are now captured (were before they were lost time). Away from the device, no problem, I have the app on my phone and when I get back to the office it is all nicely sync'd. Cons Originally I wish it had more projects, but after getting used to the flow it ended to not being a con. The only problem I have is me, at the end of the day I'm in a rush to get out of the office and I forget to cradle the device. Review Source CR Claire R. This app allows our busy engineers and technicians to track their activities quickly and painlessly. Pros The ease of use, and now, the team tracking function, Spaces! Cons The Bluetooth connection has always been a bit clunky. The initial connection for some in the office was instantaneous, but for others, it took multiple attempts to get the tracker to connect. This does seem to be better however with the newer trackers. Reason for choosing EARLY TimeFlip looked more complex than we needed and was a hire price. Being able to differentiate between my clients by simply adding an @ or the type of work I am doing (Meeting vs Model Building , for example) has been very helpful. I can accurately bill my clients and see where my time is going! My bosses love it because they know I'm 100% accurate in my bill time and they can confidently justify if I have high billing periods. Pros I can customize my buckets of time and really see where my time is being spent at work! Cons I wish the ZEI had more sides maybe; not sure how helpful that would be. It's been very helpful in that regard. Pros The interface is excellent. It's easy to use, flexible, and I can log and retrieve all of the data I want and need. Cons Of the things that you can actually control, the fact that it's super easy to overwrite your entire days worth of time logging is probably the thing I like least. I wish there was a way to recover from that type of user error. It would be helpful, at the very least, if Timeular issued a warning before over-writing prior entries. It would be even better if you could also revert to prior entries. I've started manually logging time without the device because I don't always notice when it's not connected due to battery life, internet connection, or other issues of that nature, and then I think I'm logging when I'm not. Pros Easy to use. The program interface very tidy and modern, but with enough functionality. The new weekly summary is very great and offers a good overview. Cons Entries on the iPhone have had a noticeable delay since the last update, and that slows down the entire recording process enormously! I miss label templates to download for the "cube", as I see the labeling with the pen as a stopgap. My projects change more often, but I like it tidier :-) I'm more technical than creative guy ... This has been immensely helpful since one part of my job was considered small. After tracking with Timeular, I was able to show my boss that I was spending between 40 and 65 percent of my time on that project, instead of the 5 to 10 percent they thought I was spending. Pros Available across multiple platforms (I use Android and Windows) so that I can use it at work and when I'm away from my desk. Simple, streamlined, and easy to use user interface Analytics tell you exactly how long you spend on certain items Cons The optional Zei is expensive - otherwise I would probably use one to track my tasks. Timeular has replaced all of my old tracking systems (which used to involve manual spreadsheets), the cube thing on the desktop is also fun to use :) Pros It works perfectly on Mac and iPhone, the software is light (doesn't take up a lot of space & isn't a resource hog), and it connects to Toggl which is where I track my main hours. Cons It used to get confused if you have the application open on your desktop and iPhone at the same time but now that's fixed. Pros I like the automatic tracking changes, as well as the ability to make notes on time usage. It makes timecards simple as well as seeing where my time goes. I have to say, I absolutely love it. It’s just fantastic – the way I can see my day at a glance, what I’ve been working on, with the ability to add more entries and run data summaries and such like is excellent. I have to say too – the support function on the desktop app is incredible – no more having to go into a separate email or website to find contact details and so on, I can just message straight away from the one place, and the response time is super fast. It’s the small things like that, that make such a difference – it’s a fantastic concept and product. Pros The at a glance view of my day and what I've worked on when, the various reporting capabilities and filters, and the Zei desk device. The support from the Helpdesk team is incredible - almost immediate response straight away from the desktop app Cons Taking the battery in and out is very footery, my battery lasted a matter of a couple of weeks before needing replacing which wasn't ideal but is running perfectly now. This makes it almost seamless. I need to add more notes and it will be. Pros Easy to use Low in price Weekly timesheets and reports Cons When you forget to sign out on your laptop and then use your phone to stop the time, it doesn't always work. Pros In my job, I switch a lot between tasks (emails, meetings, etc.) and sometimes I would have no idea how I had spent my time or whether or not I had focused on the right things during the week. Since I’ve been using Timeular, I can hold myself accountable to how I direct my time and attention and I feel like I’m getting a lot more done every week. Both the device and software are super easy to use. I like the clean interface and found it very reliable when tracking. I had no connectivity issues to date. Seemed pricey but paid for itself quickly in more accurate invoices. Cons A little tricky to navigate at first. While the 8 jobs at 1 time are enough, it can get a little confusing closing them out then restarting for later jobs for the same client. I’m also using it with coaching clients as well, which is kind of cool. Pros I like that I can track different categories of tasks and allows me to reflect on where my time is going. It measures my efforts on the surface so that I can manage my efforts at a deeper level. Cons Honestly, there’s not much that I don’t like. Perhaps an indication of how the scoring system works would be a nice addition to the mix.
