Using the zen device or the app, works equally well. I am happy with My purchase almost all of the time Cons I have some issues with zen-device loosing connection to my phone, updating without dong is not easy (lost mine), and in company networks with strict internet access, i have found that server connection is Lost (i.e. my daily changes don't get saved). May 3, 2019 5.0 Our entire team has adopted Timeular based on my endorsement and seeing the value it provided to tracking my work. Now, we're ahead of the curve as our entire department is being asked to track hours and we already have an effective solution. I love that Timeular is a physical object anchored digitally. Everyone who's seen it has thought it is cool! Pros Pre-timeular I never quite knew where my time was going, and if asked to estimate how long a project would take, I would have nothing to go on. As a result, I would often end up overcommitted and overwhelmed. Post-timeular, I can see at a glance how my day or week has been spent, and can call up a report to give my supervisor estimates on the fly. Gone are the days of never having the answer. Now, I always have personal data at my fingertips! Cons It might take a while to get in the habit of flipping your Timeular as you go throughout your day, but I find it helps me transition between work blocks and focus in on what I am doing. You may also feel limited by only having 8 sides, so think hard about how you want to assign those. But once you've established categories that work for you and a rhythm, you are set! The only con is that the base is not rechargeable, so every once in a while you will need to purchase a coin battery and install it. It is crazy how you forget that there are actually companies left who are there to help their customers! Secondly I do like the idea and the design of the cube itself, I have used it for almost a year now and I still use it almost every day. Cons I don’t like that I can’t bring it with me when I am for example working from home. October 5, 2018 5.0 Great overall solution for tracking work hours as well as other personal activities you want to measure. Pros This app makes it super easy to track what I'm working on and for how long for each of my clients. Super simple to customize to your specific tracking needs. I also enjoy using it to track how long I'm spending on other activities like working out, mobility, etc. throughout each day. I love that it works well on both my mac and samsung phone. Cons I actually don't even use the physical device that you can flip to track your time. I was using the app while waiting for the physical device to ship, and by the time it arrived, I was already in the habit of using the app. Honestly, it's more convenient for me to just the app on my mac while I'm in a good workflow rather than flipping the physical device to track time. People want their life quantified, but they won't know what they really need/want until their data is analyzed and shown - literally what the mail has done. By doing more persona research/questionnaire, I think you can find more way to help your user control - or rather has a illusion of control - of their lives. \*\*\* Or even more extreme - you can label how different kind of people(demographics) use their time - and sell your valuable user data after they've been anonymized. It would be some very precious and detailed user behavior data. Pros Ease of use It was not easy to use before, small inconvenient here and there. Now it's GREAT. Timular helps me see exactly where my time is going, and helps me for billing purposes, which also saves me time! Cons The device itself is a little gimmicky. The hardware has been iffy at times like the battery I have to sometimes move around for the device to turn on, but the manual timer app has worked well. It would be nice if the integrations could do pushes, like adding more actions other then @ and # to do things with integrations. Pros Manual timer works well, and I like that it syncs with toggl calendar and Jira. Cons Times when the zei is not detected. Recurring monthly fee would like to go towards integrations. Pros This is great for someone who is on the go and forgets to track their time like I do. I don't always use the device itself although it looks great on my desk. I most commonly use the Timeular app on my computer and phone. It has been great as far as reporting time to clients. Cons There is nothing that I don't like about Timeular so far. It's an easy to use solution and I recommend it to other small business owners. Pros I really love the ease of use with Timeular's software. I bought the basic version and that's all I needed for my freelancing business. I can pull monthly reports on my productivity with ease. Cons I do have some issues with the Timeular hardware. It's super simple to use. Pros I'm new to time tracking and for over a year tried multiple methods of tracking time so I could submit my timesheet and bill my clients accurately. This solution is by far the best. Flip the tracker to the correct side and all the work is tracked for you. Super simple and far more accurate! I love this invention. Cons I'd love the ability to customize my own weekly report and have it run automatically. I struggle with ADHD and focus but the physical time tracker really helps make time visible and helps greatly with my focus. I also use the Pomodoro setting with the device which is great. Cons I would like to be able to use the device without opening my laptop ie have the device track my time in the gym etc. I would like an audible option with the device when not connected to the laptop and a visual timer on the device or beside the device. Pros Timeular integrates flawlessly into my workflow and allows me to track my time easily.The way it's laid out allows me to easily create and remove entries, so it has even replaced my calendar and notes applications to an extent. Cons The mac application isn't as refined as the Windows version. It has some buggy issues that seem to reappear every update in a new form.
