May 20, 2021 4.0 This software is a cost effective solution for event registration and management. RSVPify is simple and can be used in a very simple and effective way. That apparent simplicity belies its potential for much more sophisticated event management. Pros We selected the product because it allowed us to upload a guest list, limit registrations to the guest list, and had an e-checkin/ticket capability using QR codes. We used the software for 11 events, ranging from 20-380 attendees, and it worked just as well for all of them. Cons Having a dedicated app that could be used for scanning the QR codes and checking people in would be a much better solution than a combination of mobile device camera/QR reader and web browser. The delivered solution requires using two pieces of software and on an iPad open a browser tab for each checkin. After a while tabs need to be manually closed. Additionally, the option to automatically check in people when the code is scanned would have sped things up. In the current implementation you scan the code and then have to manually check the person in. I was in a rush and they were able to tell me exactly where to go and setup everything exactly as we needed it. Pros Their Support is AMAZING. We were working with another platform which wound up being a waste of 2 weeks and by the time we switch to RSVPIFY we were less than 2 weeks away to set it up and assign everyone their tickets. It would not have been possible with out supports quick answers to our questions. We needed an affordable option so the fact that we could pay for 1-month for this one off event was a huge selling point over the yearly contracts others offered. Cons Learning curve on what constitutes a "RSVP" - I did have a whoopsie between the testing event and the live event where I did not factor in that deleting a reservation and adding the same reservation back in would count as 2 separate tickets so keep that in mind. It is better to edit than to delete and re-import. Luckily Support walked me through how to fix it before the event. Switched from [BetterUnite](https://www.capterra.com/p/172631/BetterUnite/) Support did not answer our questions and the sales person sold us on features that did not exist. Pros We really liked that this product felt like an invitation instead of an event sign-up form. The event information was on a separate page from the RSVP and allowed for integration with photos, maps etc. Cons The software is limited in its overall capabilities. For example, there is only one email template so you can't send different emails to different types of RSVPs. You are also limited in the number of events in the system period. You have to delete past events before logging an additional event over the number of events your subscription allows. Review Source WR Will R. Pros I like how easy it is to set up events and collect RSVPs. The platform is pretty flexible, and it helps keep guest lists organized in one place. It’s also convenient for sending invites and tracking responses. Cons It can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are a lot of features, and pricing may be a little high depending on how often you use it. The customizable process for digital invitations and real-time guest tracking are awesome. It feels like it does the simplifying of party planning. The seat mapping and email reminders are awesome. Cons What I like least about RSVPify is the cost. It's not very cost effective and can get expensive fairly quickly. You can send invitations, follow answers, manage guests, tables and reminders in one place. For weddings, company events or private events, it saves a lot of time. This system is EASY to use, works great for our classmates, and the team is incredibly responsive and supportive anytime we had a question or needed help! Pros Easy to set up. Easy to manage. Easy for our attendees to navigate. Simple to process payments. Everything is here - including great support when we have questions! Cons The only thing we wish we could have, is to collect cellphone numbers when people register. Emails are fine. Having an additional way to contact our classmates would be helpful. Managing guest lists is simplified, saving time to focus on other aspects of the event. Pros Overall event management, including handling the reservation process, is made much easier with the help of RSVPify. The program is intuitive relatively simple to figure out, and anyone can create a decent looking invitation. QR code check-ins are a great add. I also like having the automated email reminders when it’s getting closer to the event. Cons The more advanced features are locked, which is slightly annoying, and sometimes it’s tricky to keep track of multiple events at the same time. (Old ones should be deleted.) December 27, 2019 5.0 With RSVPify, it's very easy to check responses using a computer or your phone with the RSVPify app. Uploading the guest list allows you to keep track of who has responded and who hasn't. Downloading the responses in Excel and sorting them or creating a pivot table with them makes the process very easy to compile results. Great product!! Pros I love the ability to set up our RSVP exactly how I need including the design of the RSVP, the questions we can require each respondent to answer, and predetermined responses for the respondent to select from. I also really like being able to upload the quest list to keep track of who has responded and who hasn't which allows me to make sure everyone is included. Cons I use this for 2 events a year so I have to sign up when I need it then cancel for the rest of the year. It would be great if there were more options on plans rather than only monthly payment options. Pros This was great software to use because we were hosting an event which was made up of 3 different activities which attendees could pick and choose from. This allowed us to get a number of attendees for each different event, through one platform. It was easy and quick for us to create the even and even easier for attendees. I couldn't recommend this software highly enough. Cons There was nothing that it was really lacking. The only small action I would have liked, was for an attendee to only be able to choose one of two options, instead of the system allowing them to choose both. But this was a very minor thing for us. Pros The ability to manage attendees, gather necessary information from attendees during at the RSVP and easily communicate with guests ahead of the event were key for us. Cons Our event maxed out and we needed to pay for RSVPify. This happened after normal business hours and we luckily saw the email in order to fix it in a timely manner. I wish having a warnings at more benchmarks informing the team we were nearing our limit of attendees would have increased our chances to have fixed it before we maxed out on attendees. Thankfully it wasnt a major issue for us, but would love to see that moving forward. " March 9, 2020 5.0 RSVPify helped us have our greatest company Holiday celebration yet! Now that all communication and event invites are digital, RSVPify integrated so nicely into that which helped make our event successful. We were able to include a link to our RSVPify in our email invites to guests that allowed them to smoothly follow the link and let us know if they were joining us. After receiving guest responses, I was even more impressed with how RSVPify tracks all responses and the event guest list. This allowed us to easily print it off on the day of the event and use for check in. Pros My most favorite aspect of RSVPify was how incredibly simple it integrated into our existing email invitations and how user friendly the online interface is. Yes, there were some points here or there that I thought "Maybe this could be moved" or "This could come first before that," but overall those items were so insignificant. Cons The largest con I experienced in the software, was the limitations of each plan. Each RSVPify membership allows for a particular allotment of responses per event that can be tracked. We used the Silver membership and we had a guest list of 200 which was the maximum tracking you could have for Silver which seems a little low. That was basically the largest con in our experience.
