May 20, 2021 4.0 This software is a cost effective solution for event registration and management. RSVPify is simple and can be used in a very simple and effective way. That apparent simplicity belies its potential for much more sophisticated event management. Pros We selected the product because it allowed us to upload a guest list, limit registrations to the guest list, and had an e-checkin/ticket capability using QR codes. We used the software for 11 events, ranging from 20-380 attendees, and it worked just as well for all of them. Cons Having a dedicated app that could be used for scanning the QR codes and checking people in would be a much better solution than a combination of mobile device camera/QR reader and web browser. The delivered solution requires using two pieces of software and on an iPad open a browser tab for each checkin. After a while tabs need to be manually closed. Additionally, the option to automatically check in people when the code is scanned would have sped things up. In the current implementation you scan the code and then have to manually check the person in. It does what we need and for the right price point. Like that we are able to import attendees too. Pros Very user friendly with quick support when needed. Easy for attendees to register. We mainly use it for event registration and love that it added registrants in real time, this allows the last minute registrants the same easy check in process. Great value for your money. Cons Our event is a week long and we only make attendees register once so I have to reset the check-in status each day, that's fine, but we also add tags when people check in that we use for internal purpose and I have to manually remove those tags after the check-in status has been reset. Pros We really liked that this product felt like an invitation instead of an event sign-up form. The event information was on a separate page from the RSVP and allowed for integration with photos, maps etc. Cons The software is limited in its overall capabilities. For example, there is only one email template so you can't send different emails to different types of RSVPs. You are also limited in the number of events in the system period. You have to delete past events before logging an additional event over the number of events your subscription allows. Review Source HS Heather S. I was in a rush and they were able to tell me exactly where to go and setup everything exactly as we needed it. Pros Their Support is AMAZING. We were working with another platform which wound up being a waste of 2 weeks and by the time we switch to RSVPIFY we were less than 2 weeks away to set it up and assign everyone their tickets. It would not have been possible with out supports quick answers to our questions. We needed an affordable option so the fact that we could pay for 1-month for this one off event was a huge selling point over the yearly contracts others offered. Cons Learning curve on what constitutes a "RSVP" - I did have a whoopsie between the testing event and the live event where I did not factor in that deleting a reservation and adding the same reservation back in would count as 2 separate tickets so keep that in mind. It is better to edit than to delete and re-import. Luckily Support walked me through how to fix it before the event. Cons The only thing we wish we could have, is to collect cellphone numbers when people register. Emails are fine. Having an additional way to contact our classmates would be helpful. Cons What I like least about RSVPify is the cost. It's not very cost effective and can get expensive fairly quickly. I have never used it before, and it was great that the builder was very intuitive and had all the options I wanted. I only had one issue, but when the error occurred, it had information on how to fix it, so overall I think it is a good software, even though a bit pricy. Pros Easy to use, nicely working builder for the forms and the overall look of the invitation, very intuitive to use, even if you have never used anything like that before. Cons The builder could have more options, but you can still do a lot with the options you have. I have used the paid version because the free version didn't have all the options I wanted. Pros Software is very user friendly and seems to be more customizable the higher the plan tier you go with. Cons This is geared more toward large-scale events. We hold small to mid-size events at least a few times a year. Another level of package to accommodate those of us in this realm would be awesome! If the RSVP limit could be bumped up to about 250...or better yet, maybe a once per year limit of 500, once at 250 and the rest at 100 or less. With potentially more features available for the 250 limit and the most available for the 500 limit. Yes, I think that would be ideal and potentially open up a whole new market for you. It seemed to be the perfect fir for what we needed. The fees seemed to be low and the ease of set seemed to be good for a novice. We found all that to be true. We only wished, that the STRIPE fee had been disclosed before we did all the work. We had to detect several statements about a low 1.9% fee and add the STRIPE fees. Class mates still found to be cheaper, but, we believe in being factual and transparent. That was the only problem we found. I also want to state that this was done for a Class Reunion Committee, not an organization. I had to choose Educational Mgmt and I had to put a number, so that info is not totally correct. We are a college reunion class committee that used this product. Please remember it is not always companies with employees who use this product. Pros First and foremost, the customer service was top notch. I worked with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] mostly, and they were always very helpful and professional. Secondly, the ease of adding our information, editing, customizing and the dashboard. It was a great experience fir our committee. Cons We did not like that reports did not work well from cell phones. Also, we wished that we were able to easily filter and create reports from the program and not have to do exports each time. Needed them to pick a time, get a confirmation and allow for follow up and exporting of names for check in and record keeping. Pros I had a difficult project to set up, this software made it possible to send a link to more than 300 emails, have them choose a 15 min time slot and send a confirmation email as well as a follow up. It also allows me to see who is coming in those slots for a chek in process. I hit the customer service JACKPOT with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who worked with me for two days to make sure all my pieces of this intricate project were in place, she even check after I was complete and made recomendations for tweaks. It also allowed me to customize and create a cute initial and informative page to provide further details about the event for any interested party that scanned the QR code. Cons I did not like that it did not inform you that there is a maximum of 100 sign ups allowed when you use the website for free. I initially thought the whole process was free but once we got to 100 signups, it informed us that the max had been hit and no one could get access to the link anymore. I will definitely use this in the future and suggest it to friends. Pros RVSPify provides an amazing platform for managing RSVPs for any type of event! I especially liked the ability to have our guests choose their meal selection in the RSVP. The reporting is Amazing and made it super easy to get the information I needed to our venue event planner. On top of all of this they offer a seating chart tool which made making out seating chart super efficient. You can make changes and easily see how it will function on a test version before you publish it live. sending invites creating QR codes and links to your site is very simple and easy. Your guest list is easy, organized and exportable to excel to show lots of data points! I was able to update my event as it progressed, include navigation, zoom links etc. The features are great. Pros RSVPify was easy to use once I was able to figure out how to customize it -- there is a bit of a learning curve. Cons \-Stripe is the only payment app connected and only is applicable if you have a business. -RSVPify occasionally did not work on some people's browsers. -Need for more administrator functionality so that I could enroll individuals who wanted to RSVP via email rather than through the app when it didn't work.
