It has been helping our team to plan i the real time and it has been really easy for me because a lot of our directors work from home and my boss travels a lot. We also need to present and see presentation from other companies all around the world which has been done easily with CardBoard Pros What I really like about it is ti's simplicity. It helps you to map out your projects and share it conveniently by easily changing the theme and looks. Cons Some Functionality can be improved. It was easy to create complex mockups in a short amount of time. There were many customization elements that helped accent certain parts of the design and make it easy to understand layout Cons Not really any cons, but I think adding some additional features in terms of custom geometric shapes, lines and text would be great. I tripped over manipulating the content onscreen and the Excel export brought over content that I didn't need (maybe that can be tailored--not sure). Overall, I couldn't justify the subscription fee when I can use something like Trello for free. Pros Easy to get started, pleasant color palette Cons Could have been user error but I experienced an issue with spacing. I couldn't easily manipulate full columns of tiles and experienced added space between columns that I didn't know how it happened or how to remove the space quickly. It helps me clarify ideas and create workflows. It helps me solve problems for my users at work and is beneficial because of that Pros I liked how it helped me spell out my user story maps and user flows without having to buy a huge whiteboard. It saved me space and time because of these reasons. I like the ease of use and how intuitive the software was. Cons The pricing, I wasn't sure I would use it enough to make it worth the cost. There's minor things that need improvement in terms of performance but for the price it definitely gets the job done. Pros I like the style and layout of this software. It is similar to how I organize my ideas in my head, on paper and just in general. So for that, it is very easy to understand the workflow and organization of the program. Cons There's definitely a small learning curve to really get the most out of the product. Which is sort of inevitable I suppose. I think some of the "bulk actions" and clicking & dragging functions could use some improvement. Outlined the high level steps at the top and then the detailed activities below. I used different color cards to represent different groups. I helped me get my point across! Pros I enjoy using the app for it's easy to use functionality. It resembles sticky notes in the way that anyone could use it in person, but via web. This allows many users to function and collaborate quickly and easily with team members of different capacities. Cons I think there could be some additional updates to the UI regarding spacing to help distinguish the levels a bit better. I tried to explain to my organization how valuable it was over Visio and they just didn't get it! I still dream of a day I can come back to Cardboard! Pros Very easy to use by adding the "post it" notes and moving them around. Cons The shortcuts are not "windows" standards, so it takes some time to get use to them. Cons I have to convince my boss to pay for it, for all the people that would need to use it in the company. Pros Story maps are easy to create and edit, and the support team is very responsive and helpful. Cons The only thing that can be a little tricky is moving one card on a completed map. The other cards shift with it, and you have to be very careful when you drop it to make sure everything stays where you want it. July 30, 2018 5.0 I was teaching a product owner who uses TFS how to do story mapping. We did our story mapping on the wall, then he found your product and showed it to me. For TFS customers, it fills this gap. It does a great job and I look forward to working with it again. Right now, my other client has story mapping in Jira already, and another portfolio /project management tool, but I am going to also show them this product in case they like it better. I like it better. Pros It was easy to use. Simple yet has all the feature I needed. Cons The only thing I would say I do not like about it is that I have to pay for it, but really, I am kidding. We conducted a design studio using the tool, uploading photos of sketches and working collaboratively using a combination of Cardboard, Google Hangouts, and our phone's cameras, and Cardboard performed swimmingly. I also liked the interaction of dragging elements onto the board. A really slick way to create an interaction that works on mobile as well as desktop. Cool idea. Cons I didn't like that you were stuck with a default font. I'd like to be able to customize that , but otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.
