### "Cannot Recommend Teampay Enough"

It was so easy to implement and train our team on Teampay. Support and our representative were with us every step of the way, and we were not dropped after implementation. They have always been quick to help whenever we've needed it. Now that we use them for our corporate cards, AP, and expense reimbursements, I can't imagine going back. I cannot recommend their products or working with them enough.

Pros

Teampay is the full package. A solid product that is easy to use for those in our company, while still meeting the requirements of our accounting department. We began our relationship with them just for corporate cards, but quickly transferred as many of our processes over as we could. The preset rules and processes we are able to build within the system allow us in accounting to be comfortable that controls are in place. Since it is automated, our time is not being spent on small details, freeing us to focus our efforts more efficiently.

Cons

No overall complaints. There are a couple of small items that are on our wish list. Some of which I believe are on Teampay's roadmap. Multi-line expense reports would be nice. Also, we have a lot of budgets, probably more than most users of Teampay. Currently, there is no way to filter or search the budget page for a specific budget. So if we do need to look up a specific budget, we have to click through several pages. All the other pages are searchable, but for some reason, the budget page isn't. My guess is that most people just don't need the function on that page.

They understood our needs and what works best for real companies, real employees, and real accountants better than any other system. Also, their price point, especially after the cash back from the company cards, was very hard to beat and a great bonus.

### "Teampay Review- Great but a few very frustrating issues."

4/5. I like how seamlessly I upload my receipts and request funds. However, there are some issues that I've mentioned above.

Pros

It is easy to upload receipts, and I appreciate the receipt icon on every transaction. Currently, I use the desktop version of the teampay site when working with my phone since I have an android. The teampay feature on slack is nearly unusable so I can't upload receipts there. However, the desktop teampay site on the phone is surprisingly good since I see all my transactions, have the receipt icon for easily uploads and website responds well to touch on a mobile screen. Teampay site (mobile mode)- many things are cut off on the screen and I can't swipe to make them visible neither. For this reason, prefer the teampay desktop site. I like that teampay gives me the option to split a transaction as well.

Cons

Extremely frustrating- If I get my teampay card replaced, my past transactions get wiped from the iPhone app. Teampay on slack is nearly useless (which I will get into). In my past, I’ve transferred my receipts to my computer where the past transactions are visible. This is a horrible, horrible, painstaking process. The order of the files gets scrambled and the dates as well. There is currently no android teampay app (I have moved to an android phone). Teampay is nearly useless when connected to slack. I do appreciate missing receipt notifications, but it keeps flooding me with notifications. For instance, if I want to upload a receipt for a transaction two days ago, I wouldn't even be able to find it because I get flooded with notifications about other transactions as well. Also, the transaction dates can get confusing. With uploading receipts for Amazon can be very stressful since these vendors primarily list the date the order was made and the date, they arrived which is not the transaction date. Also, if you purchase multiple items on orders on Amazon, teampay mixes the orders and their prices. This is likely just how credit cards work but the transaction may not be listed on the date the purchase was actually made (sometimes a day or two after).

My overall experience has been super positive. I love how easy it is to use and manage my team's spending. I love that I can easily approve funds while I'm out of the office, in case of an emergency.

Pros

I travel frequently for work, and I love the Teampay credit card. It is very easy to use, request funds to be added, and code my receipts to ensure they are allocated to the correct account routes. My entire team that travels has them, and it makes it easy to track spending to ensure we are not over budget. I also love the reports, which make it easy to match expenses with our budget and ensure things are coded correctly in real-time.

Cons

My only con is that when using Teampay through the Teams App sometimes it doesn't save what we have entered or uploaded. This has happened to my team several times recently. I'm not sure what the glitch is, but it's frustrating when we do things correctly and save them, only to have Finance ping me, saying we're missing receipts.

Pros

Teampay credit cards with cash back, and being able to sync other types of cards for easy tracking.

Cons

The time it takes for payments to be made and that international payments in not an option.

As an one who does financial reporting who mostly uses the reporting function, my experience has been very poor. The reporting function is just not good and requires a lot of manipulation and manual work to reconcile.

Pros

finding invoices tied to bills. Search function is pretty good. In my role, I dont have a whole lot of other positives to give

Cons

reporting is really clunky. ability to build out imports to accounting software is not good. Cannot run reports based on a paid date which is not helpful when reconciling to bank accounts. Sometimes reports do not download or take several hours for minimal data. Cost is also high considering there are other software out there that can do similar things for free

Pros

Cons

Besides making us more efficient, I really appreciate the fast and friendly customer success manager (mine is \[sensitive content hidden\]). He is always so personable and always gets back to me when I make requests, when I let him know about any hiccups, or make suggestions for product improvements. I have also seen Teampay improve its product regularly during the two years I have been using it.

Pros

Teampay cuts down on the time me and my team spend on manual data entry. The team-based approach makes purchasing and record keeping SO much easier than it was before we used this product.

Cons

I don't have any negative notes, honestly.

Pros

It's easy to create POs and easy to track the stage of approvals of the orders i opened, I really enjoy having the chat too, no need for communication outside Teampay

Cons

don’t like Teampay’s interface very much, as I think it could be more intuitive. For example, when POs are paid, they just show up as zeroed instead of clearly marked as “paid” or something similar. Also, the organization could be improved, it would be much easier if the POs were grouped by month or had some structure instead of just appearing in one long list.

It can be frustrating when I have to open a new request because there is a modification needed. It would help if there is a way to cancel request and fill a new one from the old request as a template.

Pros

As a user that only sends the requests and have no responsibility for reviews and approval I like relative simplicity of the process. Once I send out the request it gets automatically routed through the approval chain. At least in theory.

Cons

No easy way to link context in Jira tickes (we just put a bit of backstory to comments and link Jira there). Comments are however free form and they are limited by formatting. A way to save and continue request is missing. We would also like to have a way to work on one request in team (we make requests as a team, so it would be useful if I can create it and another team member could review it before we send it upwards for approval.

Pros

It was very easy to use even though I did not have much prior experience with the function. I had to request the card for a payment trip to another state.

Nothing- it was fairly straight forward and easy to understand. It can take a bit of time to get used to the interface but one can learn quick.

Overall, my experience with Teampay has been very positive. It simplifies my work spending, provides great visibility, and makes expense management much less stressful. It has improved efficiency and accountability.

Pros

I really liked how easy Teampay makes it to track expenses and manage approvals. The platform is user-friendly, quick to learn, and saves time by giving clear visibility into spend across the team.

Cons

The only drawback is that sometimes there are small delays or minor glitches for example I tried to change a payment method once and there was an error as if it was not updating but in actuality it was, which can cause a bit of confusion. However customer service was able to help me resolve quickly and kindly.

Pros

The support at implementation and also the flexibility in tweaking to best suit our needs have made all the difference. Highly recommend Teampay.

Can't think of anything at the moment. We required some customizations and it took many meetings, but it was time well spent.

Overall I find it useful. As I stated before, new requests and approvals for limit increases can be more efficient.

Pros

Integration with Slack makes it easy to stay on top of charges and reminds me if anything's missing. Also good to get notifications on requests. More user friendly than going through the portal which I do only at end of month.

Cons

Not specific to the product itself but more about the functionality - request approvals can take a lot of time depending on the workflow. If someone is not available to approve, then the whole process gets delayed. Wish there were ways to expedite certain requests - for example, below a small dollar amount - to a different workflow. Maybe that's already available in Teampay I'm not sure.

Pros

The instant messaging to the ones who approve

Cons

Not being able to adjust the payment on our own after the payment has been approved. Also, not being able to change the credit card settings from single to multi use after the card has been approved.

It has been great. It's easy to send requests for funds. Approval process is a breeze. Glad my company uses it.

Pros

Quick and easy to use. Gives good guidance on how to submit requests and access funds. I've never had any problem with the digital payment being accepted.

Cons

Can be an issue when trying to use Teampay for items like hotels. Doesn't work great for security deposits on rooms, you need to create multi-day charges, and most hotels will require a physical card upon check-in (which really isn't a Teampay problem, just a general fact of booking a hotel).

Overall it's a helpful tool. Integration with slack and the mobile support is a big plus. It's also really easy to learn.

Pros

I use teampay at the vfx studio I work at to request assets and get approval. I can also see a list of my purchases and be notified on Slack. I find it pretty easy to use and it's nice to have mobile support.

Cons

I wish this could have more integration with time tracking apps, sometimes I'd like to keep a record of how long or how frequently I've been using a product I purchased.

Just like any other new program or process, it was worse before it got better. We are in the "getting better" phase. I am cautiously optimistic.

Pros
